Amazing location woth a cosy and spacious property for large groups.

We found the house very comfortable, we had a group of 8 people and the space was not an issue at all. The house was clean, large and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. With the beach literally accross the road, we enjoyed morning walks to the nearby cafes and would come home to have a BBQ using the provided equipment in the backyard area. Awesome stay!! Would highly recommend!!!

A weekend booking for a large group.

As a large group of 11 adults we were appreciative that the property was available for our stay. The house was spacious and well presented, the bedrooms and bathrooms were also well provisioned and plenty of hot water! its also in a great location close to the beach, cafe and club. This made for a fantastic few days for us and we would recommend the property to those larger groups looking for a great stay.

The house is in a great location. Close to the beach and not fat from town. Lots of room for groups.

Great for extended families. Access to Newcastle and events using the ferry. Easily accessible and everything you need for your time away.

Amazing Location

We were very impressed with the property and excellent communication with owner. The house is large enough to comfortably fit a big group and is located excellently on the main street right across from the beach as well as a popular cafe and a bowling club.

Great Weekend Away

Party of 8, spent the weekend at this location for a sports tournament, only spent two nights, and a limited amount of time, but found the place to be clean, spacious and a prime location. Went for a swim in the beach (literally across the road) had dinner at the RSL (probably wouldnt recommend) and sat around in the living room which comfortably fit us all (the heater also kept us very warm). Owner (Marie) is very kind and helpful, and provides a comprehensive information package. Would definitely keep this place in mind for my next visit to the Newcastle area.

Great to disconnect

If you're after a holiday to unwind, disconnect and bond with your family or friends, this is the perfect place. - wonderful hospitality - close to the beach - amenities and basically everything you need is provided I highly recommend taking a stroll to the lighthouse at night. It's very peaceful.

Spacious property in a fantastic location

House is located in a fantastic location. Beach access across the road and a lovely cafe and bistro within a 5min walk. Great for big groups of people staying in stockton. Highlight was being able to see the dolphins frolicking in the water from the front veranda!

Great for a group.

We were a group of 8 women playing in a senior's tournament at Newcastle Golf Club. The house was perfect for us. There is plenty of space and we were able to sleep in 8 separate beds without using top bunks. The location is great and the house is very well equipped. The keyless lock on the door was a bonus as we didn't have to worry about who had the key.

My large family stayed here over a 3 day weekend. They found it a great spot to stay, so convenient and close to everything. Also that it is well maintained, clean and well equipped.

Great place for family escape

We were an extended family of 9 ranging from 19 - 79 - the house was excellent and accommodated everyone, it was well equipped and had nice 'extras' such as games, books etc. Marie was very easy to deal with and the whole experience from booking to staying was seamless. I would highly recommend Stockton Beach House.

What a great spot!

We had two families on holiday together and we fit in with room to spare. The location is sensational being just over the road from parks and a patrolled beach. Despite the heat and humidity outside, the property was well ventilated and the ceiling fans kept us cool. We'll be back!

Wow, wow, wow.

What an amazing house for a group family holiday. There is nothing that hasn't been thought of to cater for your stay right down to toys for the children and games for all ages. We had family ranging from 4 to 98, there was plenty of room and we had a very comfortable happy stay. Thanks for everything.

Great Beach House! - Lots to do!!!

Upon visiting the Stockton Beach House we were instantly thrilled with the location. The close proximity to the beach and just local fun such as barefoot lawn bowling & the pub was very appealing! The house was very comfortable and had a couple of rooms to lounge in which was versatile for the small number we had on the first night but the slightly larger group we had on the second. The bedrooms were plentiful and kitchen well equipped for hearty meals. Definitely a house worth staying in should you ever want to stay in or near Newcastle. Sand Dune Adventures and Glen’s Kayak Tours were very close-by and allowed us to sleep-in and yet still enjoy ourselves in short organisational time. The Stockton Bowls club, Sand Dune Adventures & School of Kayak are all activities I would recommend to any group looking for some outdoor fun.

Perfectly Located Beach House!

We chose the Stockton Beach House for our early Xmas celebration and our group included 6 adults & 5 children. The house was clean, colourful, spacious and had a definite holiday/beachy vibe. It was wonderful to all gather in the big lounge room to open our presents but also to be able to spread out and enjoy our own space. Our children loved the selection of inside & outside games that were provided with the house and also loved staying in the same bedroom. This meant all 3 couples had a room of their own. The location was perfect with everything within walking distance. We were only there for 2 nights but had time to sample the Chinese from the Bowlo across the road, play tennis, walk along the beach, swim at the patrolled beach, watch the surf carnival, have coffee from Lexie's, dine at one of the pubs and enjoy the beautiful sea breeze that came right through the house. A fabulous house just right for large groups looking for a beach escape!

An excellent beach-side property!

We stayed here as a large group for a weekend, and were very impressed with the space, flexibility of bedding options, cleanliness and proximity to an amazing beach. The owner was also very helpful, and made sure all our requirements were met for our stay. I highly recommend this property to large groups or families looking for a great holiday accommodation.

Well Presented Property

We had a family reunion and found the house was well located to club, beach and ferry access to Newcastle CBD. The house was very clean and well appointed, spacious enough for 3 couples and room for the 4th.I recommend it highly. .

Great location and comfortable house

We had an amazing time at Stockton Beach House. It's spacious, clean and has beautiful furniture, decor and finishing touches. Great location across the road from the beach and the Bowling Club. I would definitely recommend this holiday home.

Excellent property and location

I was very impressed with this house, it was very clean, warm and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and facilities, plenty of plates etc and very up to date kitchen. I have never visited this area before and this house was perfectly located to walk on a beautiful beach and to see the sights of Newcastle and surrounds. I would recommend it to all, especially large groups as there was plenty of space and you didn't need to be all on top of each other.

A great stay

The perfect place for our girls weekend away. Being women, we had showers with instant hot water [fantastic water pressure], room to spread out and instant warmth in the evenings when needed. Well supplied kitchen and a lovely decorated home. Beach for walking just across the street. Good food [music on Sunday] at the Bowls Club across the road.

Perfectly Suited

Stockton Beach House was a perfect place to stay. We are a sporting group of 14 people who stayed for five days in April 2014. We found the house to be very cosy and well equip to function with a large number of people. The beds are comfortable and the house is well set out with a few living areas for spacious relaxation. Being located directly opposite tennis courts and the beach were simply bonuses! Marie resides at the rear of the house and was very welcoming to our group on arrival. With many thanks Marie. I will definitely be contacting you again for our next trip.
