Lion's Den Cabin Ă  King's Pines

La cabane de notre Lion's Den est situĂ©e sur un demi-hectare de pinĂšdes, au pied des Adirondacks. La propriĂ©tĂ© est isolĂ©e et trĂšs paisible. Nous invitons nos clients Ă  parcourir nos sentiers - hiver, printemps, Ă©tĂ© et automne. Nous sommes de retour Ă  la nature et utilisons l’énergie solaire pour l’éclairage de la cabine. Comme il est 12V, vous ne pouvez rien brancher dans les prises. Nous utilisons l'eau de pluie pour notre salle de bain (lavabo, douche et chasse d'eau). La cabine dispose d'un lit queen-size Ă  l'Ă©tage et d'un matelas pliable pour les invitĂ©s supplĂ©mentaires. En bas, le canapĂ©-lit s'ouvre sur un matelas de taille normale. Un porche de taille gĂ©nĂ©reuse permet une dĂ©tente confortable. Venez voir en quoi consiste le calme et pourquoi nos invitĂ©s aiment l'expĂ©rience hors rĂ©seau!

Wonderful back to nature experience while also having the amenity of indoor plumbing. Birds and squirrels to watch, campfire with wood provided. Ability to charge cell and enough service to get texts in/out if desired. 100% will be staying again. Rick was great, friendly and helped us understand how everything worked, but left us free to enjoy the property in privacy.

A fantastic place to unplug!

My wife and I have stayed here twice and is a fantastic place to unplug, unwind, and recharge! The owners have put a lot of thought into every detail of the cabin and it is an ideal getaway.

It was so nice to stay here and take a break from the world. Beautiful cabin! Lovely trails to walk around and it took us right back to our cabin. Figuring out the plumbing was simple with their directions. The bed was very comfortable and the wood stove heated the house well. Definitely would like to stay again!

Lovely, well-made cabin.

Clean, quaint, perfect for a semi rustic outing. Only got to stay one night of two booked (due to sickness) but it was comfortable and with picnic tables, grill, outdoor fire space, seems like a great spit at which to hang with friends.

Magical winter retreat

Each winter my wife and I find ourselves coming back to the Lion’s Den for a picture perfect break from it all. The wind through the trees and crackle of the fire welcome us back like old friends every time.

A little slice of happiness and relaxation!

Our fourth winter trip to The Lion’s Den was exactly what our family needed on our annual trip! Back to nature, quality family time, and the most serene, peaceful environment for a few days. Rick is a fantastic host and provides outstanding accommodations. Comfortable beds, a clean cabin, and acres of stunning scenery to enjoy! We cannot wait to return next winter!

An outdoor dream come true

Absolutely beautiful property and cabin. Everything was just amazing in every way. We spent our honeymoon here and it was the best memories I’ve ever made. The cabin was so warm and inviting. Definitely would recommend staying if you’ve ever wondered what it is to live in an off the grid cabin.

Heartwarming Retreat

A wonderful cabin with details galore. Tranquil and inviting is a swing out front. Windows a plenty allowing one to peer out at the natural woods and woodland friends (bird feeder). A hidden gem; peaceful and pleasant.

Perfect cold November weekend

My partner and I came up for a long weekend with our two large dogs. The cabin was perfect with the wood burning stove and the impressive rain water system. We spent our days hiking and our nights curled up by the fire. The cabin was clean, with all necessary amenities for northern NY adventures. Thank you for your hospitality!

Fall Colors 2022

Last second trip to the Adirondack region, last second find and what a gem. The cabin is made with much love and passion. The off the grid experience, being all solar power and rain water utilities and they still made it have the comforts of your home. We really enjoyed it and made our short relaxing trip wonderful and romantic!! Thanks again guys!

Perfect Adirondacks Cabin

My family booked this cabin last minute to escape the stress of life for a weekend. It was exactly as described. We choose this cabin because there is a bathroom inside and a large outdoor fire pit area. The cabin was easy to find with the directions provided. There are notes explaining how to use everything on the property. It’s was quiet and beautiful. We could hear the owls and see all the stars. The cabin was definitely warm enough with the wood stove. Highly recommended this cabin. We hope to stay here again soon.

We love sharing our cabins with our guests. So many tell us how much they loved their stay and disconnecting from social media to enjoy the peace and quiet with their families. Many return for another stay...and another.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our off-the-grid cabin offers our guests a unique experience. From pumping their own rainwater for the shower, sink and toilet to using our solar power for the lighting in the cabin, our guests tell us how special the experience of sustainable living was. With 50 acres of pine woods to hike, explore and enjoy, the rolling foothills offers interesting topography. Our cabins are spaced out on the property to insure seclusion and privacy.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We're right on the snowmobile trails and just 15 minutes from boat and kayak launches.
We are in the undiscovered area of the Adirondacks. Old Forge is one hour and 15 minutes away. Many of our guests go to Old Forge for the day and then return to the quiet of the cabin.
