This is a good property let down by poor communication and issues that could be easily fixed but the property owners are choosing not to. The first is the lack of wi-fi. They say "we aren't there that often, we don't find it an issue", which means they don't care about it for their guests.The second is I asked about any issues prior to booking and was told nothing, yet as soon as full payment was made, their property sheet arrives advising of an issue with 3 of the 5 curtains that run the full length of the house, including one curtain that has to stay UP the entire time, exposing you to the public when the house is lit. I would not have booked the house had I known as I value my privacy. I was well past the refund date. I feel ripped off.The third issue is that the property is not very clean. There is black mould in both shower recesses, and in the cupboards where the spare toilet paper is kept, the shelves are caked in dust. People are then wiping their privates with this dusty toilet paper.The fourth issue is the lack of effort to make the house safe - the only smoke detector is in the master, and it's hanging by a cable.The fifth issue is no set top box has been added to the TV in the bedroom, so it only displays about 3 channels. Another vibe of owners not wanting to spend money.I also resent having to bring my own bedding. I can pay less in a 5-star CBD hotel and arrive to fresh sheets and feel more welcome. Great potential ruined. No owner replies.
