Il est situé sur Silver Lake qui se connecte au lac Kalamazoo et sort au lac Michigan. Profitez de la vue depuis votre terrasse, bain à remous ou le quai. Il comprend 2 kayaks pour profiter de la beauté naturelle du lac et des rivières. Il dispose également d'un foyer pour profiter des soirées. Le lac est idéal pour les sports nautiques ainsi que la pêche. La maison est à environ 1. 5 miles du centre-ville de Saugatuck. Pédalez jusqu'au quai miteux où vous pouvez vous attarder et marcher autour de la ville ou appeler l'Interurbain et être ramassé et déposé si vous n'avez pas envie de conduire ou de marcher.

Activités hivernales: La motoneige, la pêche sur glace et le patin à glace sur le lac sont amusants durant les mois d'hiver.

Great place for my family of five to stay. Dana was quick to respond to questions. Nice dock and kayaks for the kids. Just 10 minutes from beach and main area.

It was very clean and the bathroom is updated. It is quite small inside but the kitchen had what we needed.

Dana always responded quickly and "frog" was clean and comfortable. Would not recommend for individuals for mobility issues because of stairs and deep tub as well as access to the beach. Location was perfect and it was very quiet and peaceful. 9

We thoroughly enjoyed the secluded and quiet area to escape the busy scene on the river/lake but still close and accessible to town. We loved having a hot tub off the patio.

Perfect Girls Weekend

My friends and I stayed for a girls weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The location is great, especially with the $1 shuttle service in local area. The beach area/water view are gorgeous and we loved the deck/hot tub area. Thank you for a great time!

Peaceful mini vacation

Walked dog, kayaked, hiked and swam at Saugatuck Dune State Park and Oval Beach, enjoyed hot tub and fire pit s’mores. Nice family time.

The location and stay were awesome! Loved the being on the water and the hot tub. Took advantage of the public transportation instead of having to drive and find a parking place.

We stayed at a unit they called The Frog. A very cute and clean little 2 bedroom apartment upstairs with private entrance. Hot tub, BBQ grill, kayaks, a sandy beach. Being pet friendly was a must for us. The views were awesome. There were 3 adults and 2 dogs in our party so we swept and vacuumed once a day to keep the sand and dog hair at bay. Plenty of dishes and cookware and cleaning supplies. I would recommend this unit for any any small party like ours. Close to town but far enough away to feel secluded. It felt very private and safe there. The only things I didn't like was there was limited access to the water as the beach was 6 feet above the water because of the retaining wall. There is a large dock with a ladder for getting in and out. I saw people jumping into the water from the dock witch looked super fun. There is a small area for getting kayaks in and out of the water. Which is where our dog was able to enjoy the water. The beach was still very lovely and had a fire pit and chairs. In the bedroom to the left there is a closet with a shelf that has a sharp corner. Of course I hit my head on it the 1st day and had quite a bump. So please watch that!Would I stay here again, Absolutely! Thanks for reading! Mickey!

Perfect family spot close to Saugatuck

We absolutely loved our stay here. My girls spent the day jumping off the dock into the beautiful lake, fishing with my husband, and enjoying the hot tub at night. Easy access to get our paddle boards in the water and slow traffic on the lake made it safe and calm.It was so easy to drive to all attractions around us. Literally 6 minutes to get everywhere and less than 15 to the beach!This place is perfect for a family getaway. We could have stayed on the property all day and never left and had plenty to do and explore! Saugatuck and the surrounding areas were so fun and family friendly as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay! We were happy to bring our dog on vacation for the first time. She had fun as well. The property was very nice. A little small but we didn’t mind. It was overall a very enjoyable time!

Lovely little place on the lake

We stayed in the Frog and had a great time. The place is clean, has great views and even though it's quaint, it felt like there was enough room and privacy for all. The kitchen and linens are well stocked which made it easy to feel at home as well. Taking the interurban public transportation was helpful too. I highly recommend this place and hope to book it again in the future. Thank you Dana!

Great view, plus kayaks and a hot tub!

Property was as described. Beautiful view. The end of the lake is a nature preserve, so we were able to kayak through a lovely area with many birds. The hot tub was already heated for our arrival. Owner responded immediately to solve a problem we had with the air conditioning. It was our first trip without kids in 23 years, and we had a great time. The second bedroom and futon in living room would have nicely accommodated several kids, if you want to bring them along. The path from the parking spot to the door was no problem for us (we are an out-of-shape, middle-aged couple with no disabilities).

Pleasant Lakeside Getaway

I appreciate the owners thorough instructions and communications. I loved that additional activities information both local and nearby areas were provided. Although we did not use the grill or oven, kitchen items that would be needed to prepare a meal was provided. The hot tub was clean and refreshing but the cover was extra heavy and hard to manage on my own. I enjoyed the view and easy access to the beach area. This owner provides kayaks, paddles and some life jackets. We did not use these either due to a short stay and others plans previously made but this owner provides lots of extras to make your stay on the lake pleasurable. The neighborhood is excellent and quiet. I loved being able to bring my dog to this property and would like to thank the owner for trusting responsible pet owners. The beds were comfortable with plenty of closet space and dressers. I would recommend this property although it would be difficulty for a physically disabled person to access.

This property was okay, but it fell a bit short of our expectations. The location was good, and access to both Saugatuck and Douglas, as well as the state park and beaches were nice. We expected to be able to easily use kayaks and we brought stand up boards, but access to the water from the property was not easy. You would have to jump in the water and climb in/on, so that was not ideal. Most everything we needed was available in the unit, but everything was a bit old and tired, including the furniture in the sitting area. It was not comfortable and should be replaced. The area inside was dark and the only light in the room was an overhead light in the kitchen. They layout really did not provide access to view the water from the sitting area, which was kind of disappointing. The TV could not be used because internet was down and streaming was the only option. The bed pillows were not good, but the beds seemed okay. The hot tub was working, but was a bit tired also. Simple updates and better attention to detail, like cleaning the windows, would make this unit much more comfortable.

Overall all, peaceful location with nice lake views and not far from downtown Douglas/Saugatuck. We enjoyed the hot tub, tho had to request a skimmer as it was quite buggy. After we cleaned it up, it was wonderful. We appreciate the property is dog friendly, but going potty at night is a bit dark and quite a few stairs to navigate. Bring a headlamp. Great, well-stocked kitchen. No coffee provided, but a regular pot and French press was available. For sleeping and relaxing, we definitely saw a need for simple updates. The mattresses were not very comfortable and the pillows were very thin. Thankfully, there were extras in the closets. In the living area, there is a very flimsy futon in desperate need of a new, thicker mattress, so watching TV at night was not cozy and relaxing as hoped. The mattress was so thin that I hit my thigh on a piece of the frame and developed a bruise. The lake area was quiet and pretty, but no easily accessible walk-in points as others noted. We had hoped for an area where the dogs could splash in the shoreline, and that wasn’t possible. Host was very responsive. We’d recommend adding a keychain to the key in the lockbox, as it almost fell through the deck upon our arrival.
