Beautiful location

We had a wonderful time away at this cozy cabin. The location is great. There’s a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, with a small hike to the beach.

Great stay!

Comfortable cabin with fantastic sunsets! We enjoyed the huge lawn, fire pit, and close proximity to restaurants and breweries. Our Brittany loved running with the other dogs, chasing squirrels, and cooling off in Lake Michigan!

Majestic

Woods mixed with beach= beautiful scenery. We had a fantastic time. Although it was a little cloudy to capture a perfect sunset, it was beautiful none the less. It was a short trip, but it was perfect place for it. I am sure we will book this again sometime.

Girls Trip

We came for the Douglas Halloween Parade and we almost did not want to leave to go to it. We loved the place and the hospitality of the property manager and home owners! Iris the dog was a very welcome surprise. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location; great grounds; great landlord

We stayed here for a long weekend visit. The cabin is spacious and clean. The grounds, access to the lake is perfect, especially if you have kids or a dog. There was a welcome bottle of wine in the kitchen and landlord is very hands off although he lives next door. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Amazing

Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Beautiful property! Beautiful views! Walk down to the beach area was perfect, cabin was cozy. Right off the interstate, but tucked away in the woods. Dog friendly was a must, so was grateful they were allowed so we had the opportunity to enjoy this piece of paradise!

Weekend Getaway

My husband, myself and our dog Koda had a wonderful stay during Memorial weekend. The cabin and amenities were wonderful. The view is absolutely stunning, plus the lake access is just the cherry on top to this great place. Only suggestion would be to have a dvd player or not so spotty cable. Either way still a wondeful time and love that it is pet friendly. Will was a friendly and wonderful host. We can't wait to plan out next stay there.

Perfect holiday weekend

The cabin was beautiful and quaint with everything we needed. Plenty of outdoor space to have a fire, lounge around, and enjoy the view of Lake Michigan. The location was perfect, very close to downtown Saugatuck, downtown Fennville, and Douglas. There are so many great things to do in the area so we had a pleasant mix of fun activities and leisure time. Communication was excellent and Will, who manages the property, is delightful.

Just lovely

This property is the perfect summer escape. Nothing fancy but just enough to have a summer break by the lake. Clean cabin, the necessities are supplied, there is a grill and fire pit. Cannot beat the views and sunsets. The owners and manager are on the same property and are super nice and helpful.

A Restful Stay

We had exactly what we needed for our retreat. Will even prepared our campfire! Carol was lovely. She left flowers for me as I am battling an illness. ❤️ we shall return .

Week at the lake

Pet friendly and very relaxing. Fully stocked cabin with everything you need and only 10 min to Saugatuck. There are 3 other houses in area however super quiet and still secluded. Very relaxing. Only opportunityis to update the swing and access to lake but that appears to be in progress. Would stay here again. 5 star .

Amazing place to stay on the lake!

When we arrived the address wasn’t listed on a mail box. We just pulled in close to the address and when we pulled up the driveway we saw the cabin! We were greeted by a man named Will and he gave us a tour of the property and told us about the dog! The dog was so friendly and hung out with us while we had a fire. The beach was amazing and we thought this was a great place for couples! They have a bigger rental available on the same property and Will gave a tour and told the story of the property! Over all great experience! Bring food no one delivers!

Great spot right on the lake!

The communication with Will, the property manager, was great right from the start. When we got there, Carol, the owner, came over to greet us and chat. Will came by a short time later and introduced himself. They were both lovely people and very welcoming! They are pet friendly, which was very important to us. We brought our small Chiweenie dogs with us and they loved it. Roamed the yard and hung out on the deck soaking up the lake air. Cottage was clean and stocked with basics, just as advertised. Several spots along the lake from to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine with an amazing view. Cozy campfire spot that we didn’t use, due to it being super windy, but looked really nice. My only suggestion is a new TV or a DVD player. The antenna didn’t work well, and once some stations came in they were spotty at best. WiFi is already there so this is an easy fix. Other than that, perfect spot, great stay, and we will definitely be back.

Our Story....
begins every spring with the first of the guests that arrive after a seemingly long and gray winter season. We have always eagerly awaited the arrival of the families; some with children that can not wait to kick off shoes and run down the beach. There are the folks with the children being full grown and will enjoy a day or several - with them and the grandchildren, to enjoy the calming sound of Lake Michigan waves or the comfort of the country air to breathe. Certainly the wonderful friends that have returned year after year have become more like our extended family. Come and experience the calming effect of this cabin on the lake; you will experience the Lake Michigan shoreline like never before!
