Perfect Location

First trip to Hawaii with staying in a third floor VRBO condo just feet from those tropical blue water - it doesn’t get much better. The property manager was very responsive when we needed help. Highly recommend this condo.

Nice place

The condo was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well except for the TV. We couldn’t get the fire stick to work and finding our preferred stations was difficult. Since we didn’t really come to Maui to watch TV it wasn’t that big of a deal, but it would have been nice for the few times we wanted it.

View from the room is great: Sunset, ocean, whales, sea turtles. Food choices and beaches nearby (minutes by car). Temperatures were very pleasant during our stay-cooling the bedroom could be an issue in hotter weather.

Perfect spot for a getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location. We watched whales breach in the morning while having coffee on the deck (bring binoculars). The bbq's are a great place to watch the sunset while grilling up dinner. Easy parking, kitchen worked great. This is a perfect spot for a couples getaway. The only thing I would change is to have a key to get to the backyard before the manager opens it, but that's because I wanted to get an early swim in.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed watching the whales and the turtles… Lovely quiet place. The only thing is getting to the beach would require some athleticism because of the rocks and waves.

10 days front and center in paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So to start off when we arrived at the condo there was a lot of roaches in the cabinets and in the bathroom. After the first night we didn't see any more roaches. The condo was nice and had all we needed for our stay. The view is perfect and snorkeling right behind the condos was very nice as well.

We stayed from late June early July. This is a perfect spot since its right off the beach. The views are awesome also with the great location of where its at. This condo has everything you need for daily purposes; washer/dryer,cooking utensils,silverware,plates&cups. Wooden chairs inside may need to be replaced soon as they wood rock when sitting down,everything else was great.

Love the App. Only thing I would change is put a new light blocking shade in bedroom. Had to use a beach towel to block out light at night because the shade in there is tied up so you can't use it & it is old. Otherwise, I will consider this condo for rental again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lonnie was amazing and took very good care of us! She was responsive and very helpful in every way! The owners could use to put some money into upgrades in furniture and repairs. The couch is not in very good shape with stains, there are several place they used scotch tape to secure items like linoleum that has separated on the countertops, peeling cabinet and a fennel of the beds head board that was not attached and had been gorilla glued many times. The condo itself is great it just need some deferred repairs and new furniture.

Beautiful view and clean room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My Husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the kaleialoha rentals! Disclosure: this is not a resort so you won’t get the giant fancy pool area and free breakfast like other places but my husband and I weren’t looking for that so we didn’t mind. With That being said the pool was perfectly fine and never more than a few people at a time. This is completely beach front unlike most of the resorts we had a completely unobstructed view and looks exactly like the pictures. The residents in the building we met were firendly and the room was very clean and filled with everything we could’ve needed including boogie boards and snorkels. The location was also perfect as it was lined up with all the other resorts and made it easy for ubers and taxis to find, plus with only a short drive to get to front street and local grocery stores. The owner made sure she regularly emailed providing us with all the info needed for check in and check out and everything went according to plan. Very happy with our stay and will probably be our go to if/ when we plan another trip.

Maui Sunset Dream Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental experience was fantastic. The location cannot be surpassed. We were steps from a beautiful beach that had the most amazing snorkeling reefs. Each day we were there we swam with sea turtles and every kind of fish you expect to see in Hawaii. The beach was not over populated either. There were never more than two or three other people in the water with us. Every night the sunsets from the lanai were breathtaking. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday you can walk to the Farmer's Market for fresh vegan food. Nearby Napili Market and restaurants provided everything we needed to eat. The condo was decorated nicely and had everything we could have wanted, including boogie boards and chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable. The unit has an A/C in it, but we only needed it at night to sleep, as we were there in July/August. The property was so clean and well-maintained. A maintenance manager lives on site and is visible all day. The property manager herself was easily accessible and responsive. I would rebook this unit in a heartbeat and plan to in the future.

Awesome view-disappointed with the condition of this condo

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As pictured, this condo had an awesome view. We could see sea turtles and whales from the lanai. Beautiful sunsets. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. The grounds were nice and well kept. We stayed at this unit for a week in March of 2019. We were very disappointed in the condition of the condo. We knew the place would be "dated" based on the pictures online. However, we were not expecting it to be much more deteriorated than pictured on line. The couch is very worn out and uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The screen doors are ripped. The sliding glass door needs to be repaired or replaced. The sliding door is so hard to open you have to use both hands and muscle it. The paint is peeling on the bathroom cabinet. A tile was replaced on the step going out to the patio and it was done using white duct tape to hold it in place. The entire tile was covered with the white duct tape. The grout is so dirty in the unit that it is almost black in the high traffic areas of the condo. The beach access is deteriorated. The only way to the beach is to walk over rocks and there is no sandy beach to sit on. The pool area is small and in the front of the building looking out to the parking lot. I attempted to use the washer and only hot water came out. I set the washer for cold wash/cold rinse and still only hot water came out. We ended up having to round up change and go to the laundry room downstairs to do our cold water wash. There is not central air. Only air conditioning in the living room wall. No air in the bedroom or bathroom. I am docking 3 stars for the deterioration of the interior of the condo.

Snorkel every day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time using VRBO and I was nervous the unit would not be as nice as it looked. I was relieved as soon as I walked in. The views were amazing, saw numerous turtles and snorkeled everyday. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the personal touches left by the host. Host left a binder of instructions for the building, flyers for local restaurants and things to do near by. Plenty of places to eat close by as well as a grocery store if you want to save money and cook your own meals. Kitchen had everything we needed to do so. The only negative about this area is that its on the other side of Mt Haleakala and RTH.
