We had a great experience. The house was lovely and immaculate with a wonderful view of the lake. Property manager was very friendly, fast to respond and helpful.
We were THRILLED with our accommodations. Smartly decorated, clean, well maintained- we would not hesitate to return. Great wineries, and beer spots to partake⊠the lake ( Cayuga) was across the street. Just went down the road a couple miles to find a State Park where we could access the lake, enjoy the sundowns, so lovely. Hostess and Host were lovely and made sure we had a nice experienceâŠđđđ
So well maintained and appointed. These people know exactly how to host renters. First of all, it is immaculate. It is so well decorated and comfortable. Appliances are functional and spotless. It is so tasteful. No junk and Knick knacks. They thought of everything including umbrellas by the doorway. The three season porch was a dream. Plenty of towels, closets, extra toilet paper and paper towels complete the picture. The village with great restaurants is steps away.
I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is warm and welcoming and reminds me off a time when things were simpler. The decor is cheery and current although has a timeless feel. The beds are super comfy with pretty quilts and coverlets and the showers are lovely. Also, you can't beat the location. A few steps away opens doors to the local wine store, gourmet shop, boutique shopping, tavern food and fine dining. Plus, there are beautiful historic sites (some in the form of breathtaking inns) so be sure to take a leisurely walk along Main Street! I cannot wait to go back over and over again. Thank you to Jacci Farlow, too, who is the best property manager ever, accommodating every need, to the finest detail.
We spent a week in Aurora while attending our nephew's wedding in July, 2017. Our rather large extended family rented a total of five different houses in Aurora. My immediate family of five (plus a guest) stayed at 16 Cherry Ave. and we were extremely pleased with the accommodations. This charming, completely remodeled home just off Main Street was very comfortable and a real joy to occupy. Everything inside seemed brand new. It was fully equipped and beautifully decorated. We particularly enjoyed the screened-in porch in the back, great for enjoying coffee in the morning and simply relaxing in the afternoon or evening. Jacci and Virgil Farlow went to great lengths to make sure our stay in Aurora was as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible. I highly recommend Aurora Mainstays!

This home is pristinely renovated and one of the oldest homes in Aurora, home of Lucy Bonus and owned now by her great niece. My husband Virgil and I proudly manage this home as part of our business Aurora MainStays dealing with over nine short term rentals in and around the Village of Aurora. We have hosted vacation rentals since 2011 and love welcoming guests and sharing the quaint and quixotic nature of Aurora. Anything we can do for making a guests stay comfortable is what we are about. We look forward to hosting you!
