At the lake, spiders are very resilient. We sweep down the webs and by morning they’re all back again. On average, it takes 30 to 60 minutes for a spider to weave a web. Even though spider webs are extremely strong, they don't always last very long. They are constantly getting damaged by Mother Nature. Some spiders build new webs every day. Sometimes the cottage is cleaned a day or 2 before the guests arrive and the spiders work straight through the night. :/

This tenant completely trashed our property. Said he could not be outside because of the bugs. Bugs live outside! He left 2 cottage doors unlocked and every light was left on. He did not secure the grill cover and it blew away. Every pot, pan, and dish was left dirty and piled high in the sink. Pancake batter was dripping down the kitchen shelving. The coffee pot was overflowing all over the counter. The refrigerator, freezer and kitchen were full of leftover groceries. Raw garbage was thrown on top of the trash can liners in the outside cans. No trash was removed by him. Every game was opened with pieces all over the house. DVD’s not returned to cases. Window blinds on the floor….need I go on? This tenant stated he wanted a refund because he had to leave a night early. I always try to be fair and considerate of others situations, but this family was absolutely ridiculously disrespectful and destructive with our property. I informed him that he was not only NOT getting a refund, but that he was fortunate that I didn’t keep his security deposit. He clearly didn’t appreciate that.
