Parfait week-end facile avec accès à la randonnée, au ski de fond, au lac, à la raquette, au patin à glace. À quelques minutes de l'école de Dublin. Great stay!

We enjoyed staying at this historic home! Communications with the owner were easy and house was as-advertised. Views were gorgeous and home was peaceful. We’d love to come back!

The location was great and the views were amazing. We only wished NH wouldn’t have had the burn ban in place so we could have enjoyed the fire pit. We still had a great time. The home was very cozy. Thank you Tom.

Location! Proximity to Camp Wanocksett with views of Monadnock made this a good choice. The photos and descriptions are accurate. Yes, the beds are comfortable. But some how It feels like a home. It’s a well cared for family treasure I would gladly return to.

Fall in NH

We came from Florida for our daughter’s wedding and this location was not only convenient to the venue but a lovely place to stay. The property manager was extremely helpful and help make our stay great.

Lovely home in gorgeous location!

Our stay was lovely! We had some issues with check in that ultimately got resolved, and the property was gorgeous, clean, and private. I honestly wish we had spent more time in and around the house as it’s completely beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The property for our stay was quite nice, and it was everything we really needed for the days that we stayed there. The house had a cozy feel to it that was a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful location, completely comfortable, love it!

We've spent a lot of time at this place. It's so cozy and comfortable. For us it's perfect. Lovely view, hiking or cross country skiing right nearby. Owners great to deal with.

Country Cottage

Perfect country cottage for a weekend! We added the extra apartment for our party of 4. Excellent location, as alumni of Keene State College - it was close for a day trip to Keene. The fire pit was fun and the view was fantastic! Tom was an excellent host!

Peaceful and welcoming

Had a wonderful stay in an authentic antique, well- maintained and appointed home. Charming, with beautiful sweeping views to Mt Monadnock’s summit, this home is comfy, bright and tranquil with lots to do just a few minutes away. Thank you Tom, for your terrific hospitality.

Building memories in Dublin

Peaceful well-equipped home with full view of Mt Monadnock. Close enough to see hikers summiting with binoculars and occasional eagle soaring in between. Loved our stay as did our family. Tom was immediately available throughout the process. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us!

Exactly what we were looking for.

Mount Monadnock holds a special place in our family’s history, and this cottage was the perfect base from which to explore the mountain and the surrounding area. We spent our evenings basking in the warmth of the fire-pit and the glow of the mountain at sundown. The beautiful period furnishings and fixtures of the cottage reinforce the feeling of connection with the history of this special place. We feel privileged to have been able to share it.

There were mouse droppings on the kitchen counter.Mice were seen running on the living room furniture.We were asked to take trash home with us. We arrived to find the frig filled with open containers of milk, juice, etc.Very disappointing.

Julie, I am sorry you experienced a mouse, it does happen sometimes in the country and I have told the exterminator we need to revisit because it is not normal and should not have occurred. Perhaps your friend who rented the house did not share the house notes with you that clearly mention that renters unfortunately need to remove trash because we have no town services and you would be unable to access the transfer station to drop it off locally. On the food topic, I do have my cleaners leave convenient food items for travelers as many arrive late and stores are not near. This means condiments and non perishables are left but only unopened liquids are kept if they are within date ranges. Again, sorry you did not enjoy your stay and I will make sure to address the mouse issue ASAP. Tom

Nice location

Home was nice for our purposes. Definitely showing its age though. The toilet in the main house needs help. The fridge leaked quite a bit while we were there. But the kitchen had most everything you need and the beds were comfortable. The tv had major connection issues and was not reliable. The view though was stunning and the fire pit is lovely.

Jessica, thanks for the honest review. We are constantly updating the house and are just weeks away from remodeling the entire bathroom (fingers crossed). The fridge is an issue and while it is only 1 year old it leaks and has damaged the floors so we are looking for replacements that will fit. I’m glad you enjoyed the view and fire pit during your stay and hope you will return and see our progress. Thanks again. - T

Lovely Cottage - Perfect Getaway for Family

I got married on a lake nearby and booked Tom's cottage for my immediate family to stay at and take morning-of getting ready photos. They turned out absolutely stunning and the lighting in the garage studio was perfect for my sisters and I to get ready together. Tom was incredibly responsive and helpful during the stay as well. The July heat was tough, but it cooled down significantly overnight. The house staying a bit cooler than the loft, but a few fans fixed it easily. And, to top it off, the view of Monadnock from the yard was unbelievable.

Outstanding stay in Dublin!!

Very nice property with excellent views, close to the lake and outstanding amenities throughout the property. We enjoyed the fire pit, super comfortable beds and loved the well appointed kitchen. It was also nice to have a good number of chargers throughout the house. The check in and check out process was easy and straight forward and the communication from the host was very good throughout the stay. While we did not have any problems during our stay, he made it very clear that he was available for any questions about the property. We loved out visit, and wold definitely book this property again in the future. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home!!

A very gracious host

My husband and I actually came down with sickness and we're not able to make the trip. Husband felt sick the day before we were supposed to leave to head to Tom's place. It got progressively worse and we realized we couldn't make it. The host graciously refunded us part of our money back even though it was within our stay window. Hopefully we will be able to stay at Tom's place next time!

Nice and affordable

If the rate had been higher, I might've given this listing 4 stars. But, given the affordability, I'm happy to give the full 5 stars. It is a serene location with a stunning view. The heating system is very loud (being from the area, we are not strangers to loud radiant heat, but this was LOUD!) and the bathroom could be brought up to the standards of the rest of the house. Again, nitpicking at $175/nt. We had a lovely snowstorm right on cue. :^)

Tim, Thanks for the feedback. the house is 100 years old and I am bringing it up to date as we speak. New heating system goes in next spring (not able to complete in time for this season) and bathroom is first on the list for 2024. Please come back next year and see how it changes.
