Le Lemon Drop Cottage / PRIVÉ, entièrement équipé, vacances ou affaires.

Notre chalet est une cabane de chasse rénovée. Il a un lit queen confortable, futon, cuisine équipée, TV ROKU et wi-fi. Nous sommes à 4, 5 miles du centre de Peterborough sur 18 acres. Randonnée, ski, grands pubs et restaurants tout autour de nous. Nous avons deux paires de raquettes à utiliser sur 6 hectares ouverts. Près de toutes les choses amusantes de la région de Monadnock, mais de votre propre espace privé. Grill fourni et cueillette dans notre jardin en saison. L'espace pourra accueillir quatre adultes ou une petite famille.

A lovely home in a beautiful area

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lemon Drop. The property has excellent access to a variety of outdoor fun, and the surrounding towns are as charming as they come. We hope to be back!

Cozy spot with everything you need

We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed and a/c. Small kitchen with plenty of basic supplies to make coffee and breakfast. Great backyard for relaxing. Easy to find. Close to local attractions.

Lovely cottage

We really enjoyed the lemon drop cottage. It was so welcoming and the property is beautiful. We had coffee while watching the butterflies enjoy the milkweed flowers.

Great stay!

We had a wedding in the area and this home was exactly what we needed to spend the night. It was very clean and tidy and the check in/out instructions were easy. I appreciated the hand written note welcoming us inside. We were able to get ready for the wedding and it was the perfect size for the two of us. The back yard overlooks a beautiful field and I wish I had more time to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. Great stay!

Cute little place

It was a cute place in convienent location with a great back yard view. They're working on the place so there is construction material around it. Inside the layout is a little funky and it was a little dusty. It was quiet and worked well for needs

Here for a wedding

This being a different type of 'overnighting' for us, we truly had no expectations. It was different but, it wasn't at all disappointing. We enjoyed pleasant conversations with the owner and enjoyed the quiet of the location and the closeness to the wedding location.

Lemon Drop

We enjoyed our second stay at the Lemon Drop. The owners are in process of renovation. The house is now a true lemon color. The host is very accessible and responsive to any issue. The space was reorganized this year to a more functional style. It works well as a pied a terre when visiting the Monadnock area.

So cute!!

My boyfriend and I came here for a new years weekend getaway! We wanted to relax and enjoy nature while getting away from the craziness of life. Everything here was so great, just like the pictures only better! We walked in to a cozy little cottage with a candle lit for us which was a nice touch. Everything we needed was there, and more. There were binoculars to look at the wildlife…we saw several deer and a bobcat!!! The place was clean and decorated so cute! Kathy was the perfect mix of being there for us when we had questions and giving us our space to unwind! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!

DISAPPOINTING STAY in PETERBOROUGH

I thought this Place was located in Keene. It was about 20 miles further in Peterborough. We arrived after dark. There was no sign for the cottage and no house # we could see. VERY difficult to find. Upon entering, a picture window in kitchen faces owner’s house. There was no curtain on picture window. The shower curtain opens into kitchen. Description says near kitchen. Everything was very dated. We did not feel the pictures adequately displayed the actual interior. We were very uncomfortable & disappointed. This was not at all what we expected. MIT

Pretty place but neighbors are psycho

It’s a pretty place in a good location. Great size for one or two people. Just don’t tell the property owner one single thing about yourself because she and her multiple housemates will then discuss you at length and you’ll have a guy who is drunk at noon on a Saturday sit down next to you when you’re just trying to think explaining that you are “perfectly safe” there because of “all our guns.” Then he will admit to a federal crime while attempting to coerce you into sex including saying “my room is right over there, you can come right to my door. I’ll leave the light on.” Which he did, leave the light on. I was staying there because I am recovering from a traumatic experience. I have severe PTSD. The number one cause of PTSD in this country is rape. This man not only made it clear he wanted to have sex with me, he actually started arguing with me about the location of my physical body the night before because “Kathy said you left.” Which is, first off, none of their business when I leave and for how long, as I PAID TO STAY THERE. And second, it is VERY CLEAR that they have at least one if not multiple hidden cameras in that cottage and they are also watching every single move you make, probably behind their drawn curtains in the house 15 feet away. Total nightmare.

The Lemon Drop is the only stand alone cottage spot in the Peterborough area. Enjoy town, hike, fish, attend concerts, canoe/kayak, grill out and relax....WEEKLY rentals ONLY in JUNE, JULY and August. I added a pick your own SALAD GARDEN, firewood for $15 and bouquets for sale....
