Great location, peaceful and that "away from it all" feeling. Highly recommended! Wonderful views - the cabin is perfectly isolated and well-equipped. We hope to be back to Dan & Sheyla's place!!

The location was excellent. Just what I was looking for . On a mountain top that was secluded and private. The cool breeze was refreshing and a needed break from the hot, humid air of eastern NC.

Owner “Dan” I believe, was super communicative before the trip date, and called the cabin to check on us during our stay. (We arrived when tropical storm Isaias was approaching.) It was late and dark when we arrived (though the owner did advise to get there early, so it was due to our schedule) and the driveway caused us hesitancy halfway up about whether we were on the correct driveway as some segments were narrow with some patches of loose gravel rocks which made us assume it wasn’t traveled frequently - however, all was well and we made it up safely. The cabin was very secluded and felt like a small, cozy, wooden mountain cabin. It was clean and the storm blew lots of fall leaves and branches around overnight but the colors were pretty after the fact. Lots of firewood, pots/pans, seasonings, TP, paper towels, couch blankets and a traditional coffee maker. Hot tub was nice and we enjoyed the lights on it. The floor warmers made the space warm and cozy. We appreciated the family getaway!

Property top of a mountain! Good thing we drove our truck. A quiet piece of paradise at the top! Enjoyed spending time outside grilling, camp fire, drinking morning coffee!

The highlight of this property is not only the view, but how accessible the hosts have made themselves. They were available at all times. Although we brought detergents and paper products, the cabin was indeed well stocked! The location was ideal, and the locals couldn't be any friendlier or more helpful. In a word, accommodating!

This cabin was just so cute and the communication with the owners was excellent. Everything you could need in the kitchen is there for you. They also had plenty of bedding and throw blankets for you. The hot tub was clean and temperature adjustable to our liking. I really like that they had porches on the east and west side. Also had a several books you could read. This cabin is high up and it is so quiet and peaceful.

What a beautiful, relaxing experience this was! I rented the cabin for Valentine's Day weekend for my girlfriend and I. The weather was just right for the experience we were looking for. This was not far from Bryson City so we took a mini trip there for one of the days. The cabin was extremely nice, the views were great, and the host, Dan, was great! He was always available to reach out to if we needed anything or if we had any questions. We will definitely plan on doing another trip to this cabin one day. It was just what we needed to get away for a bit from regular life and relax.

Beautiful spot in the Nantahala Forest

Loved our visit here. The hiking, hot tub and views were all great. It was peaceful and so relaxing. We just loved it.
