Beautiful property nestled in tranquil surroundings but unfortunately the inside of the property was a huge disappointment, it was dirty and grubby, most definitely was not professionally cleaned or maintained nor has it been for some time. I paid an extra 200 for linen, which wasnt on the children's beds. linen consisted of one bed sheet/pillow case and one towel per person. mattresses were stained,pillows likewise. Windows are filthy with broken locks, front door handle broken also which leaves the property feeling unsecure when you are not there. Carpets were also stained and the showers gruby and mouldy.Overall, the area is stunning but this property was a let down and most definitely not worth what we paid.

Great location, lovely property, Kanagaroos on your doorstep!

This was the perfect stay! Location was a short drive to wineries, breweries, beaches and the town. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. Loved the bushwalk around the properties and the many kangaroos bouncing around. Would stay again!

Beautiful location

We loved our stay and it was a lovely property and stunning location. Unfortunately the kitchen had not been cleaned properly, the dishwasher, oven and air fryer were dirty inside. The bedding provided was lovely and clean. The hi-light was watching all the kangaroos come out ant twilight. We had a lovely stay and enjoyable trip.

Peaceful

The photos don’t do it justice, was my first thought when we arrived. It’s a beautiful house, quiet and peaceful location surrounded by nature. Ended each day with kangaroos on the property. Absolutely loved it.

Nice location

Nice location but inside the property we didn’t find more welcoming. It’s not worth for what we paid for. Left one day early. Wouldn’t recommend.

Yallingup property

Great location and a solid house for a reasonably priced family holiday. We just felt a few aspects needed sprucing up, but understand that it's probably representative in the price. Namely: - one bunk bed too high for the room and has no ladder. Making the kids room next to the living area isn't ideal either. - kids beds not made on arrival yet charging 25 per bed- uncomfortable mattresses a challenge for older guests- outdoor furniture and bbq dirty. One chair was rusted through and broke when a 3 yr old sat on it.Overall, we enjoyed our trip and the house provided a simple place to base ourselves from so we could enjoy the area

Overpriced and poor amenities

The beds were all uncomfortable. All the non stick Pots and pans had thick black burnt oil on it, the oven tray had burnt food waste on it. we ended up going to the shops and buying our own pans. The blender had mould in it as previous tenants didnt dry it. The cooktop kept failing due to low gas supply, the gas tanks went empty on our third day of stay and owner advised to use the bbq gas tanks as the cleaner had failed to check it prior to our checkin. wouldn’t recommend this property if you are going with a big group. Also theres no aircon so think twice if you are planning to stay in summer.

The property is in an excellent location and very close to many tourist spots. The house is spacious and comfortable but sadly it was also very dirty. Fridges were dirty as was a lot of the crockery and cutlery. Food and crumbs on the dining table too. The outside area was dusty had leaves and cobwebs.The B.B.Q was new but very dirty with oil overflowing. One bedroom was completely unusable due to a broken bed. Pet owners should be aware that there is no fencing. At over $500.00 a night it was not value for money and I cannot recommend this property.

Not sure what to say

I'll start by saying house was a great size. Open living which was great for family. Location was amazing. We tried to enjoy our stay but certian things just made it difficult. No Aircon, Only a plug in fan which did not help it was so humid at night no one slept well. Even a ceiling fan would have helped alot. We are in Australia after all. Beds in the bunk bed room definitely need some maintenance. (Ladder and safety railing) No sharp knifes or scissors we could not prepare food properly. 80% of the dishes had to be washed before use. No scrubber to wash dishes and an empty box of dishwash tablets for the dishwasher. 4 lights in the kitchen entry did not work. Also the light above the hotplate did not work so if cooking at night it was quite dark. Both gas bottles for the bbq were empty so we could not use. We just felt a bit of neglect in cleaning and preparing the property for visitors. Information to recieve the keys was also incorrect we ended up waiting 30mins for a response. Had to contact stayz directly also. With everything together and paying on the upper side of the price point per night it was disappointing. I hope this can be taken as constructive criticism.

Beautiful spot

The house is conveniently located near beaches and wineries/breweries and is surrounded by quiet bush properties. House is large and spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Excellent for a group

House had lots of space for a group of people and the bunk beds comfortably fit adults which was great. I think the photos don’t do the house justice as it was very airy and full of light. The location is great, just down the road from popular wineries and had everything we needed. The house was clean with good water pressure. Remember to bring extra toilet paper if you are with a group of people! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Great location, great house and amenities.

Without realising, we booked this house again. First time in November, 2011 and now, November 2021😀. Realy enjoyable stay. The house was big enough to accommodate a couple of families with kids. Kitchen and bathrooms stocked with all imediat needs. Spot on communication with the property manager! We gave only 3 stars for cleanliness. The surfaces are fine however, the house needs some TLC and deep cleaning.

Needs a good clean inside and out

Arrived to a filthy mess, after contacting Stayz and then the property owner, they organised a cleaner to come who made the house acceptable. Could not use any pots, pans,BBQ as they were all dirty. Thank goodness we took our own linen as all pillows, doonas need replacing. I could go on and on
 Such a shame, as the property is in a great location and would be lovely if given some TLC.

Big things great, small things not so good

Location - excellent, yard excellent, house design, very good 1 bath mat, 2 tea towels, 6 toilet rolls, for 7 people, over 6 nights - terrible Broken fireplace for 4 of the six nights - terrible Faulty doorlock on sliding door making it almost impossible to lock the house - not good Microwave oven and dishwasher that are falling apart - also not good.

Very enjoyable Easter Break for our family.

This property suited our large extended family gathering for Easter with ages 5 through to 91. Loads of space for the children to ride their bikes and play outdoor ball games. Lovely quiet area with little traffic. Short distance from Yallinup and Dunsborough. Enough space inside for us all as well. Suggestions for improvement would be the mowing of grass at front; lighting is not bright and a quick sweep of leaves etc from outdoor verandah areas before arrival; exhaust fan in toilet and control of millipedes which were prolific especially at night on walls, paths etc. All in all a great holiday venue for us and we will definitely consider returning.

Great bush stay

We loved our stay at the property, perfect for a group and the kids enjoyed the local wildlife. Location is excellent, in close proximity to beaches, wineries, breweries etc. No wifi/reception but it was somewhat nice to switch off.

Yallingup Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Yallingup, the house is in a great location and everyone enjoyed visits from the kangaroos and blue birds. The house is well equipped and there was plenty of room/beds for our large family. Communication with Natalie was prompt and she was very accommodating

great house- big and roomy. location fantastic great bush scenery with wildlife, summertime very hot due to no cooling but quick access to beaches, enjoyed by everyone, will definitely come again

Family Break

We spent 5 days at the property. The house had not been cleaned. We had to: clean the the bench; BBQ, hotplate; sweep the floor; dishes were dirty (not cleaned properly from the dishwasher). All before we unpacked. The house had not been cleaned properly for a long time, dirty windows and tracks; dust and litter underneath and behind all furniture. We had to clean the outside area just to have a BBQ. On the last night we had no water; the tank was empty. The small fans were not sufficient to cool the 'open light-filled living areas'.
