Bienvenue chez Sugarloaf Dairy, vers 1906 - un mélange éclectique de style vintage avec le confort contemporain.

Sugarloaf Dairy est l'évasion parfaite, une ferme de planche à neige en bois par excellence remplie de caractère chargée d'histoire et située dans une vallée paisible à seulement 5 km du centre historique de Dungog. Pendant votre séjour à la laiterie, vous avez accès aux jardins, vergers et paddocks environnants. Profitez de la vue imprenable depuis la véranda enveloppante ou promenez-vous dans les magnifiques jardins jusqu'au ruisseau d'eau douce. Parfait pour se divertir avec le poêle Ilve et la grande table de la ferme ou le barbecue dans la pergola ombragée.

L'intérieur est simple mais élégant, murs blanchis à la chaux, mobilier vintage, électroménagers en acier inoxydable, draps et serviettes en coton bio. Il y a 3 chambres, 2 avec lits queen, la 3ème avec deux lits simples qui peuvent être réunis pour faire une reine.

Nous avons maintenant 2 salles de bain.

Il y a un poêle à bois et un foyer au gaz pour les soirées plus froides, ou la climatisation à cycle inversé pour l'été.

Un parc à bestiaux et des enclos sont disponibles pour les clients qui souhaitent amener leurs propres chevaux, les chiens bien élevés sont également les bienvenus mais veuillez nous contacter pour les conditions. Les chiens sont facturés 20 $ par chien et par visite.

La laiterie centenaire a été mise hors service il y a de nombreuses années, mais est toujours fière de sa position aux côtés de la ferme restaurée.

Écologique et biologique

Notre objectif est d'être le plus écologique possible, sans compromettre le confort. Nous essayons d'éviter d'utiliser des produits chimiques ou des pesticides sur la propriété. Des produits de nettoyage écologiques sont utilisés dans la maison et des shampooings, revitalisants, savons et produits de soins de la peau bio sont fournis aux clients.

La cuisine est bien garnie avec des ingrédients de base et il y a d'excellents centres commerciaux à Dungog, ou nous pouvons diriger les clients vers un site Web où ils peuvent commander des produits biologiques locaux et le faire livrer pour une somme modique.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Sugarloaf Dairy House. The location was great, nice and quiet. The house was lovely with everything you need for a perfect stay. We loved the animals especially the horses and the friendly peacocks 😊 thanks for letting us stay.

Charming farm getaway

A little piece of heaven, just perfect. Kids and dog loved exploring the garden and checking out the animals. Farmhouse full of character, a lovely area to explore with a local brewery in town.

Long weekend @ Sugarloaf

Very very happy about the time we spent in Sugarloaf. The house and surroundings are great to spend a quite couple of days. We did a short trip to a side of Barrington tops as well which was less than an hour away from this place. And I should say, Ash was a superhost! Thanks for listing this place!

The location of the property was close to the main town centre of Dungog , and easy access to other local natural attractions.Great location to the Common as well for Mountain Biking. The home itself was beautifully presented. Very homely, with space for everyone. A great home to spend quality family time together and escape the business of life !Ash was a great host . She was very easy to communicate with and friendly. She even happily accommodated our 18month old Dog!We loved talking with the horses each day and hearing the sounds of nature each morning. We had a fabulous time at Sugarloaf Dairy and look forward to returning in the future .

Delightful property and host

We had a lovely weekend at Sugarloaf Dairy. Ashley was responsive, warm, friendly and super obliging from day one, and her home was just as delightful. The charm offensive starts at the beginning of the driveway and doesn't stop, with lush gardens, a deep verandah and cosy, eclectic interior – all surrounded by rolling, green hills. To top it off, the kitchen is generously stocked (including fresh herbs, eggs, milk and butter), as was the bathroom, and the beds plump and soft. Can't wait to return.

Comfy farmhouse

This is a really lovely place to stay at Dungog. Close to town but definitely country. Luxury style, super comfy with quirky and interesting interiors. Ash is a great host and she has done an outstanding job of making the place appealing. Loved the wide verandahs and resident birdlife including the Guinea fowl that supplied our eggs. Very hard to leave.

Perfect Easter farm getaway

Sugarloaf Dairy was just what our family needed for an Easter break from the city. Ashley’s house is well appointed & just a short drive from Dungog so you have the peace & quite of the country with the convenience of shops & restaurants. We went to local events the Gresford billy cart derby & Dungog rodeo which were fun. Also managed a bush walk at Barrington Tops NP. Sitting on the verandah & being able to give our dog a holiday too were special treats. We will be back.

The best wedding get away!

We recently stayed at Sugarloaf for our wedding and it was just the perfect place to get ready and enjoy in the lead up to our special day! Everything about it, from the stunning and whimsical garden to the quirky and fun decor is perfect for a beautiful country get away! The bridal party got ready here and it was just such a calm and beautiful environment to get ready! Ash was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay and offered lots of local knowledge. She was also amazing during our stay, leaving us eggs and dishwashing tablets in the letterbox for us, and even a beautifully thoughtful gift for the bride. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back again! Maybe for our anniversary :)

A GORGEOUS PROPERTY

We cannot speak highly enough about this lovely home. It is a large, beautifully maintained farm house. It had everything we could ask for. The huge garden is a delight. Our hostess was 100% helpful and accomodating. The house is spacious, comfortable and bright. We could say much more, but I will finish saying we simply cant wait for our next visit.

Girls Weekend

It's tricky to write a review since the entire weekend and stay was sublime. The reason I gave one star less for accuracy of online description is that it's even more spacious than it looks. It is simply a beautiful property. Ash was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The property is Ash's home too, and therefore the kitchen is a dream in terms of applicances and everything you might want. There were some really lovely details, like we were 5 girls ( maybe more women since we are late 40's +!) and we were left 10 towels. There was face cleanser and moisturiser in the bathroom. We brought our own, but I have forgotten on occassion. The area of Dungog is a joy to explore. We will certainly go back. Please don't read this review as a green light to have a wrecking party, Ash is lovely and relaxed but still, it's a home that still needs to be respected.

Home away from home

Beautifully styled and appointed home, great for a relaxing weekend away . Lovely wide verandah as as well as a little pavilion in the garden. You won't want to leave however you are only 5 minutes from pubs and cafes in Dungog that also has an array of interesting shops.
