Amelia Fun!

Very nice. The condo had very inexpensive items, such as utensils and coffeemaker. I was disappointed in the overwhelming air freshener. The view was perfect.

Not great

Check in process was fine. The view from the condo was great. The problem was the light switches didn’t work well the bulbs didn’t work in the guest bedroom. The swimming pool was empty and being repaired and had been under repair for 4 1/2 months but no one told us One of the two elevators was out making it difficult getting to the sixth floor in one day both elevators were out. The security gate didn’t work coming into the complex so itlet anybody come in contrary to what was advertised. The condo itself was an OK rental, but the complex was the problem.

Wonderful place, great time!

Great view from deck. Plenty of room in 2bd 2bath. Unit was clean, description spot on. Amelia island is a beautiful spot to relax with a fun, interesting downtown area. Many activities available (kayaking, horses, bioing, fishing, boating). Highly recommended!

Disappointing

The reviews stated that the condo was dated, but we didn’t realize it would need so many improvements. We have stayed at Amelia Island Surf and Racquet many times, but won’t choose this unit again. The bed smelled sweaty and was very worn, the pillows were long passed being effective and the couches were very worn. The kitchen was not very well appointed.

Overall very pleasant. Mattresses need some upgrade, could use handheld shower head in second bathroom. Great location, on the beach and close to shops. Quick response from property manager in removing wasps nests on balcony. Would go back next year. Thank you Lisa!

We had a great vacation! We had all the amenities we needed although the interior was a bit dated. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach.

Very nice stay

Great view, very nice balcony, nice public spaces and beach access. Could add a TV remote guide, map of property for first time guests to know which building and floor, and location of refuse containers. Air duct covers need to be replaced. Overall very pleased and would return.

Great view

Four stars only because the unit could use some updating. The condo was clean and comfortable in the living/dining room. The primary bedroom and bathroom was very nice. The second bedroom and bath need updates, especially the mattresses on the twin beds. The bathroom was tired looking. It needed more hooks for towels. (always one of my pet peeves) There was a drainage problem in the sink which the management company took care of ASAP. They were wonderful. The kitchen was also in need of updating, including with a better set of dishes/glasses/pots and pans. And a blender for the pina coladas that would have been so nice on the balcony. The view was wonderful. It afforded us a perfect sunrise and a very decent sunset. The west hurricane shutter was down so we got in touch with the management company to get the remote to open it. Of course that was the only shutter the remote didn't work on, but that was OK! Sherry from the management company was TERRIFIC. Would we rent this unit again? Absolutely!!!! It was convenient to the beach, pool, downtown and restaurants. Can't wait to go back, upgrades or not, it's a keeper!!

Not for us

We always stay at the Amelia Surf and Racquet Club and will continue to do so, but not in this unit. We had to vacuum the closet before put ting our thing in it. The mattresses need updating. The overall condition of the unit needs attention. No towels were on the racks and we had to find one pillow slip. Just not what we expected.

Summer vacation

Great location, love the way the unit is situated on the 6th floor corner but this unit is in need of some TLC....ceiling in master bath peeling away, some on the floor, master shower head trickles, kitchen ill equipped, minimal plates, utensils, literally could not find a knife to cut, garbage disposal didn’t work...water main break when we arrived which was not anyone’s fault but absolutely no communication from property mgt

Great long weekend stay

Didn't spend much time in the condo, but thought it was very nice, clean and up to date. The only suggestion I have is go ahead and spend the money on HD TV.

Great property

The inside was decorated nicely. The views from the balcony were outstanding.The only downside to the place was the kitchen. It needs some knives, pots, pans, etc.
