Le Orchard Cottage se trouve dans l'ancien verger de pommiers de la ferme et donne sur un petit ruisseau alimenté par une source. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à cinq personnes dans deux chambres et un lit gigogne. Les installations comprennent un foyer au bois (idéal pour les séjours d'hiver), Internet sans fil et une télévision haute définition. Nous fournissons également des serviettes et des draps. What an amazing place. Tranquil, Soothing, Peaceful, Beautiful, Pick your adjective, I could go on and on.This location is amazing. Leave the world behind and just Zen out for a bit. Sip your favorite beverage. Enjoy amazing views. Listen to the babbling stream flowing through the orchard.Come in blueberry season and enjoy pick your own or already picked fresh plump blueberries.Old Orchard has blueberries, apples, grapes, deer and on site hiking trails.Old Orchard has amazing friendly hosts ready to assist or answer questions.Caution! This place could become a habit. A very very nice habit.

Beautiful and peaceful

Wonderful place to stay in a very beautiful and peaceful setting. The cabin was everything we needed and more! Lansing is a sweet little town and we were close to West Jefferson and many parks and rivers.

Blueberry farm getaway

This was a fun place to stay for our trip around ashe county. It gave us access to hiking and the town was having a fun fair at the local park. It is a lively town with a lot of local fun. The people there are obviously proud of the town!

Beautiful & Relaxing

The cabin was just as pictured inside, updated and clean but with nice quaint touches. Photos do no justice to how beautiful and peaceful the property is. It is the perfect balance of “away from it all” without being too remote. Would definitely visit again!

We loved the hike on the property and the view from the back deck. Our Labrador loved playing with the resident dogs. We had a very peaceful weekend.

You couldn't ask for a lovelier location with better views and nicer accommodations. Far enough away to feel remote close enough to things you need to not be inconvenient

Christmas at the farm

We look forward to our visit to Old Orchard Creek Farm every year. The cabin is spacious, well appointed and just lovely. The view from the back porch is a magical place to have your morning coffee. The views from the top of the hiking trail are absolutely spectacular! Johnny and Walter are fantastic hosts. We highly recommend and will most definitely be returning.

Simply the Best

This our third stay at this beautiful property and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous scenery, friendly hosts, impeccable cabin and delicious blueberries. It is a family favorite and we will be back again! Don't miss a chance to swing by the Old Orchard Creek General Store (recently opened by the property owners) in downtown Lansing while you're there. It offers delicious coffee and is stocked with local beer and cider, honey, jams, books, art, pottery, textiles - the works!

Hidden jewel in upstate North Carolina

Our family of four enjoyed every minute of our stay at Old Orchard Creek Farm. This picturesque property is full of fun discoveries - a gentle stream, a pasture with friendly donkeys and cows, resident pups and cats eager to make you feel welcome, an amazing hike with magnificent views and a charming rope swing... I could go on! Our boys had an awesome time exploring and we did too! Johnny and Walter were gracious hosts and our cottage was cozy and lovely in every way. We cannot wait to return during blueberry season!

If you seek peace and quiet.

This was our second visit in twelve months and my wife and two dog's enjoyed every minute. We come to relax, do a little shopping in Lansing and West Jefferson, but mostly just hang out at the property and enjoy the serenity. Great two mile hike around the ridgetop with the dogs. In Lansing the Liars Bench has great sandwiches while the Old Orchard Store is always inviting. Walter, we'll see you and the dogs and your new pup soon. Happy New Year 🎉

An absolutely magical getaway!

My family and I booked a last minute 3 day weekend and had the time of our lives! It was truly a magical weekend. We went during their blueberry season (it is a u-pick blueberry farm as well) and I was apprehensive about having to share the property with others coming and going... But it ended up being one of our favorite parts! It was so great connecting with families coming to pick yummy blueberries. Ellen at the blueberry shed was absolutely wonderful and my son didn't want to leave her side all weekend. It was a sad goodbye for all of us. We loved our experience so much, I booked our next trip while still on the first trip. :) You can't miss out on the Old Orchard General Store! Get a "magic cookie", or get multiple, because they are so good. We can't wait for our next trip this fall!
