Jason, I am very sorry that you and your family experienced the restaurant exhaust/HVAC issue during your stay. What you described was certainly not acceptable, and I completely understand your frustration. I would, however, like to provide some additional context for future guests. I was not made aware of the severity of the situation until approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday evening, the night before your departure. The Lodge had offered to relocate your family on Friday, which you declined due to the inconvenience of moving. I understand that decision; however, had you contacted me when the problem first occurred, I also had another comparable 3-bedroom suite available and would have immediately offered to relocate your family. Once I became aware of the situation, I brought it to the attention of the owner and Lodge management. The source of the problem was subsequently identified, addressed and repaired. I sincerely regret that I did not have the opportunity to help resolve it while you were still in residence. Whiteface Lodge truly is a special place, with so much for families and guests to enjoy throughout the property. I know from your previous visits that you have experienced that firsthand. Since the repair was completed, we have welcomed a number of guests to the suite, all of whom have enjoyed their stays without any recurrence of the issue you experienced. Jennifer, So glad you had an amazing time. The Lodge is a pretty special place and I am happy to assist you again in the future. I think I know the reason why they don't supply vacuums in the Suites, but I will certainly make the recommendation. You can always call down to the maid staff and they will gladly come by and clean up any sort of mess for you if needed. Thanks again.

Mary, so glad you had another great trip! Thank you for the review! It really is a great suite for larger groups. And if you do include the day bed and trundle bed in the 3 Seasons room/porch I can technically accommodate up to 12 people in this Suite. I look forward to working with you again soon!

Thank you for your review and feedback. I am glad you enjoyed both the suite and the Resort. I am sorry you did not feel the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. I will have the maid staff double check the items and make sure their is enough to accommodate the suite size. Please know you can always contact either the front desk or maid staff to get anything you need or if you feel something is missing they will replace it.
