Mill Cottage est situé sur la ferme de l'ail nichée au pied de Mersley Down, dans la vallée de l'Arreton, une région d'une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle. Vous bénéficierez de réductions dans notre restaurant et magasin de la ferme sur place, qui sert le petit-déjeuner et le déjeuner tous les jours. Vous aurez également accès à la salle de jeux, au court de tennis, au terrain de football et au libre accès à tous les magnifiques terrains environnants. Les poulets, les paons et les écureuils roux errent librement autour de la ferme avec du bétail et des chevaux de montagne dans les champs environnants.

La ferme est idéalement située pour explorer l’île, au cœur de nombreux kilomètres de sentiers pédestres et de pistes cyclables qui font sa renommée de l’île, avec des plages situées à moins de 10 minutes en voiture.

Nous accueillons également les réservations de groupe à la ferme, combinant l’un de nos 7 chalets et 4 yourtes de luxe.

La propriété: Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve une chambre adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite avec accès séparé pour les véhicules. La chambre du bas a une grande douche dans la salle de bain en suite. A l'étage se trouve une chambre double avec salle de bains avec baignoire. Il y a aussi une chambre spacieuse à deux lits et une salle de bain séparée avec douche.

La grande cuisine-salle à manger a une galerie avec des marches qui descendent au salon séparé en dessous qui s'ouvre sur un patio. Le patio comprend des meubles de jardin, des chaises longues et un barbecue. Il donne sur un acre de pelouses avec vue sur les terres agricoles et la vallée.

Le chalet est chauffé centralement et est équipé de TV, lecteur DVD, lave-vaisselle, laveuse / sécheuse, réfrigérateur / congélateur, micro-ondes, cuisinière électrique et plaques chauffantes.

Excellent stay

Another lovely stay at the garlic farm, facilities are excellent, well presented and cosy. Perfect for our needs. The location is perfect with plenty to do on site or not far to the main spots on the Island.

Lovely cottage in a lovely spot

Lovely higgledy piggledy cottage with character. Great location next to the Garlic Farm perfect for a full English Breakfast. Nice enclosed garden for the dog. Very windy cold weekend but lovely and toasty inside the cottage. Really comfy beds.

Loved our stay would definitely recommend and return in a heartbeat

We absolutely loved our stay at the Garlic Farm, the cottage was great and the surrounding area peaceful. It was just what we needed and would definitely return, our dog loved her first holiday away as she had an enclosed garden where she could sit and watch the red squirrels and the rabbits and there were great local walks I could take her on to finish her day off.

Another lovely stay at the Garlic Farm

This is our third stay at the Garlic Farm and once again we had a lovely time. Mel was brilliant at organising everything including the ferry crossing at a reasonable discount.

Great cottage

Mill Cottage is lovely. Absolutely perfect for a short stay on the Isle of Wight and great for families with children. Ours particularly liked meeting the peacocks and goats!

Wow, thank you for a fabulous stay!

Our family (2 x adults and 2 x teens) had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at The Garlic Farm this half term. The Accomodation was smart, clean, warm and homely and very well equipped. We loved the facilities, especially the new sauna (bookable online for and additional fee) in the grounds. We also enjoyed walks through the farm and neighbouring fields. Melanie and Hugo were extremely helpful and friendly - thank you! We will definitely come back.

Mill Cottage

The whole family enjoyed their time at the farm. The cottage easily accommodated all 6 of us. Great to have 3 bathrooms and toilets. Parking for both our cars was ideal. Peaceful location. Great to have the Garlic Restaurant to go to for breakfast. On the whole delighted with our experience. Hope to return again in the near future.

Perfect base to discover the IoW

Had a wonderful 5 day stay in Mill Cottage. Was blessed with great weather throughout. The Garlic Farm is ideally located to visit major attractions like Carisbrooke Castle, Osbourne House, Ventnor etc etc. Tried out the recommended dining spots, all were very good, but the Bonchurch Inn was a real gem. Great running trails near the property and lots of red squirrels spotted. Look forward to returning one day.

Amazing place to stay

We've just come back from a two night stay here. Absolutely amazing place to stay, waking up to Peacocks, chickens and horses. Spacious cottage, very clean, lots of added extras. Great customer service from all staff. Games room was great and a lovely addition. Only one downsize was the beds were creaky. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again

Lovely

Best staycation ever

Review of Mill Cottage at The Garlic Farm, Isle of Wight We recently stayed at Mill Cottage at The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the setting felt peaceful and inviting, with beautiful countryside views and a charming farm atmosphere. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for self-catering, and the living area was cozy, making it perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the overall layout of the cottage suited our group well. It was also a bonus to have a private garden area, which made it feel even more secluded and peaceful. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, offering delicious breakfast and lunch options (highly recommend the garlic-infused dishes!). The farm shop was also great for picking up local produce and, of course, some amazing garlic-inspired products to take home. The location was ideal, providing easy access to the island’s attractions. Whether heading to the nearby beaches, walking trails, or exploring local villages, everything felt conveniently close. Overall, Mill Cottage at The Garlic Farm was a perfect getaway, offering a mix of relaxation, nature, and great food. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful staycation on the Isle of Wight!

Perfect weekend, cosy cottage

We - four friends and a dog - spent a very happy long weekend in Mill Cottage recently. The cottage itself is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us and we loved the rural setting. The enclosed garden was great for the dog and we enjoyed a fabulous jazz evening at The Garlic Farm restaurant (despite a power cut) on Saturday night and a delicious breakfast on Sunday morning. AND we saw red squirrels! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

A Stay to Remember

Myself and my colleague had organised a business get together on the Island and chose the Garlic Farm accommodation because it offered quality accommodation in a beautiful setting and central location. We were looked after before, during and when we left our cottages, their attention to detail was amazing and exceeded our visitors expectations. The grounds were beautiful, the on site cafe food was delicious, the shop offered loads of garlic choices and the surrounding area was stunning. Mill Cottage was full of character and set over many floors, it was fitted out very well and had a beautiful garden over looking the surrounding hills and the farm. I would recommend the accommodation for a business get together, family stay or a weekend with a group of friends. You will not be disappointed, we will be returning very soon.

Mid-week summer break

We came to Mill Cottage as a family of 4 for a mid-week summer holiday visit. The location of the cottage is great, close to the ferry, close to all the main attractions we wanted to go to as a family, and easy to access / park. Cottage is great for a family trip - very cosy and clean, well equipped kitchen, lots of space for family spread over many floors which is great to prevent noise travelling too much. Being on the farm was brilliant - amazing restaurant, cafe and farm shop, also play area for the kids and entertainment on certain days.

The excellent Mill Cottage

Cottage was excellent for a multi generational stay, with 1 bedroom and en-suite slightly to the side of the rest of the property. Quiet! Located on the Garlic Farm there is plenty to see and do for the younger ones and adults alike. Cafe and Restaurant were very good. A minor lighting problem was sorted very soon after informing Hugo.

Countryside weekend of our dreams

My friends and I had the. most marvelous time at the cottages. Not only was the checkin/checkout process extremely easy, but the cottages themselves were clean, comfortable, and just what you imagine when you book a stay at a country estate. We even had welcome gifts from the farm shop on the kitchen tables when we arrived. The property is gorgeous, with lots to do and see. We brought our labrador with us as well, and she had a great time too. We will be coming back without a doubt - this is a beautiful property with the friendliest staff/owners. I'd recommend anyone to stay here.

Perfect family accommodation

I recently hired the Garlic Farm accommodation for my 40th birthday celebration. The Accommodation team were brilliant at helping us put on an amazing event and catering to our guest’s individual needs. Friends and family members having been raving about the experience in the weeks afterwards. The site is stunning, there are plenty of activities for children and adults and the accommodation is very well maintained. The communal yurt proved to be a real hub of fun and activity throughout our weekend. We will not hesitate to book again.

Dream come true

My family and I stayed in Mill Cottage at the garlic farm this August. The accommodation is beautiful, a traditional, cosy home from home. We enjoyed a daily walk around the woods squirrel spotting, a ride on the tractor/trailer, gorgeous evening meal and a family breakfast during the stay and our 8 and 10 year old loves the independence of playing in the games room and popping to the shop for us in the mornings for delish garlic products for the week! The farm feels homely, friendly it’s kept immaculately and is a constant treat. The farm is surrounded with walls, restaurants, pubs and attractions and beaches within a 10 minute drive. We fell in love with the place and plan to return. Thank you Boswell family we had a wonderful break with you xxx

We love mill cottage

We stayed at mill cottage in 2023 and loved our weekend so much we came back in 2024. Great customer service when booking and the extra hampers are definitely recommended. We booked especially for the Christmas restaurant evenings and it didn't disappoint- we loved it even more! Mill cottage is cosy and comfortable and well equipped, a short walk around to the restaurant and shops. I would not hesitate to recommend the garlic farm and milk cottage- thank you ☺️

Weekend stay

Two nights not enough in this lovely cosy cottage next to a lovely restaurant and (garlic) farm shop. Our 11-year old doesn't want us to recommend the farm/cottage as it might mean it's booked when we next want to stay!

An autumn weekend break

A fantastic place to stay! There is so much character and comfort in the cottages and the facilities to keep the kids occupied was great. The location was good - however, you do need to have a car if you want to travel anywhere for dinner in the evening as there is nothing nearby safe to walk to. We were due to have a dinner at the Garlic Farm restaurant on the Saturday night but unfortunately it was cancelled (due to Covid) which would have really topped off the stay - it would be great if it was open on either Friday or Saturday evenings, especially for the guest staying there. However, we did have the most amazing cake there on a Sunday afternoon instead - totally recommend the carrot cake!
