This unit is in need of a deep cleaning and living room seating is well worn and stained. Its pretty bad when my 6 and 8 year old granddaughters ask why there is so much dust and filth under the couch or why the furniture is so worn out and stained. Heavy dust under the beds, on top of the TVs and fans. I attempted to turn on the TV in the room with the twin beds with no luck. If you are over 5'5" tall , the shower might be a problem as it was for me.The view was nice and the kids enjoyed the pools . I usually never leave a negative review, but for the price we paid , I expect at the very least, a clean unit with seating that doesn't swallow you.

We really enjoyed staying here. Husband and I traveled with our son and 13 year old granddaughter. It was her first trip to the ocean and she loved it. I don’t do fancy cooking when we travel, but kitchen was very well equipped for cooking breakfast and simple meals. Resort doesn’t provide beach towels, so we bought several inexpensive ones and left them in the condo, together with a boogie board and beach chair. Since we flew, couldn’t take them with us. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a text at 1 pm telling us we could check in, and we were delighted, since we had to be at our departure airport at 6 am. Would definitely stay again. Beach view from balcony is wonderful.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately we had a rodent in our condo the second day of our stay. Called them and they set traps in the condo. Saw it again the next day.. called them back they sent the building exterminator he foamed 2 holes behind the kitchen appliances. We asked to be moved and he said there’s no vacancy. He could refund me and go somewhere else . In the meantime we were there with 5 other condos with family members. So we stayed in hoping it would be gone or caught. We didn’t see it again on the third day. This was our first time staying there was not happy with the situation at ALL! Never in my 40 yrs of traveling have I had this happen to us. ☹️☹️ I feel we should have been compensated. They only offered that if we left.

However, the condo itself was very dirty and dated. The condo is in need of a deep clean and upgrades to the living furniture and beds.

The internet for this unit was awful. Thank God for Justin the Manager, he was amazing. Fixed it for us right away even when the internet company couldnt do any better. Justin has always been the best at communication and any help! I have rented from him before. I would or sure go back but I dont know if I would go back to this unit!

Great condo!

Close to the elevator and laundry area which is super convenient! The bathroom was a bit dusty but overall a good experience and a good value. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Spring break

Beautiful when first walked in beautiful view comfy beds. looked clean at first slowly found dirty areas. Cleaners need to clean under beds under couches lift cushions stuff like that. First day there coffee pot was not working owners had a brand new one dropped off at our door by morning before we woke up. Over all it was a wonderful stay and the owners were very quick to respond just cleaners could do better.

Overall we enjoy MBR- easy check in, beach was great, pools & lazy river are a plus for families. The condo itself was a nice and sppacious- although it needed a good cleaning with dust on every surface. A few minor issues such as broken blinds, a leaking shower head, and the Sun Deck was locked- called Maintenance and still locked at Check-out. We didn't let any of that ruin our stay tho- we enjoyed our time at MBR and will be back again!

Great location. Close to beach great pools and lazy river. Kitchen very well stocked. Nicely remodeled. Comfortable beds. Great spot for families or even for a guys or girls trip. $20.00 Uber to Merrills Inlet Marsh walk.

Enjoyed it but could use updates

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a girls vacation, my mom myself and my sister. Having to still check in at a management office and get keys was a little inconvenient as well as needing them to come and go from the condo, having a keypad and being able to let yourself in would be ideal. Condo proximity to ocean and the swimming pools was nice. Now for the condo itself, the kitchen was large and had a great size dinning table. Balcony was large and had several nice sitting areas. We weren't so happy with the quality of the bathing towels. They were very small, thin and scratchy. As you know this can be uncomfortable after a day in the sun. There were no fans or overhead lighting in any of the bedrooms or living room. This is quite strange because half the bulbs in the lamps didn't work. No in condo washer/dryer:( There is a coin laundry across the hall but they lock it up at 11pm and don't open again until 9am! I had an early flight and had to pack wet towels. We were told we could let them dry over night but the late open at 9am was very inconvenient. It should be open by 7am at the latest in my opinion. All in all it wasn't a terrible stay but I will be going back to the gulf for further vacations.
