The house was a gem. Everything we needed and more. The location, space, and accommodations were top of the line. This made our wedding week amazing. Can't say enough great things about the hosts. They were amazing. No complaints. Will definitely be back and recommend this place 100%.

This was the first time we had rented a house for a vacation with the entire family. First, the house itself was perfect in everyway. Everyroom was neatly adorned with different themes and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, pots and pans, toasters and coffe makers and had a cabinet full of spices. Our hosts communicated very well and were available whenever needed (not often at all, just when we were confused). The pool, we had it heated, was the highlight for the kids and adults alike. The beach access was literally across the street and when not in the pool and weather permitting they kids were up and down the beach (they collected hundreds of shells). Overall this location and its hosts made a family get togetherwell, perfect.A big THANK YOU to Kathryn and her husband for providing us with the ideal house in the ideal location for an ideal family time together.Thank you from Bill and Mary, Evana, Andre and Cristian, Rosie and Nina.

I would recommend renting Coral Mist for anyone wanting a house large enough for your family! We enjoyed the location to the beach and the salt water pool. Wonderful house, wonderful location, we all had a fabulous time!

Big House close to beach

Our family enjoyed Coral Mist very much. A block from the beach and views of Murrell’s Inlet. House was spacious and clean, big kitchen fully stocked. Would highly recommend!

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at Coral Mist! Our property's location, on the Second Row, is only 75 feet from the beach, much closer than a block away. Being directly across the street from the beach affords our guests great views of the Ocean from the front balconies, as well as stunning sunset views of the Marsh, from our back balconies. Beautiful Family Stay

The house was amazing and checked all of our boxes. We had everything we needed and the best stocked kitchen I have had the pleasure of using in a rental property. The beach is a quick walk with easy access. The pool area was wonderful and made a great retreat from the intense heat of the afternoon. Ample room and comfortable beds for all of us. Plenty of room to be together or have separate space. The extra bonus of the elevator and handicap accommodations were excellent, especially for our 86 year old mother. Lots of great restaurants and shopping areas close by for eating, relaxing, and exploring. This is an outstanding home and the host is excellent. We will be repeating our trip next year.

Supper Club reunion

Perfect for our group of retirees and spouses. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms giving everyone privacy. Great location with ocean and marsh views. Very convenient to Murrells Inlet restaurants. Public beach access almost directly across street. Kitchen well equipped. Given the age of most in our group we had some that made good use of the elevator. Also a great feature when entering and leaving, used to transport belongings versus going up and down flights of stairs. The only issue was numerous calls from a large number of telemarketers, early morning into the night. Highly recommend placing land line number on do not call list. Definitely a 5 star stay!

Excellent House

We are a group of 8 men who stayed at Coral Mist for a 4 day golf outing. The house exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean, very roomy, and has outstanding views (of both the ocean and Merrill's Inlet). The pool saw a lot of use, and the Kitchen is well stocked with both utensils and plates/glasses ect. We didn't try out the elevator, but for a bunch of old men (age 60 and over) using the steps both inside and outside was no problem. The host is very friendly and easy to get in touch with when we had an issue getting inside the first day (no big deal, the door code was incorrect but quickly taken care of). We definitely will be booking Coral Mist again next year, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a house with lots of room.

Excellent Beach Home

Coral Mist is an extremely well kept home/property and is well stocked to accommodate large family gathering such as our own. The owners are readily available and willing to answer/address any questions or problems that might arise. The elevator made egress very accommodating and access to the beach is very close by. We highly recommend this rental and would definitely consider returning in the future. I would definitely rate Coral Mist a “ten”.

Lovely sojourn.

Our annual family reunion was spent in such a lovely environment. Our stay in The Coral Mist was beyond our expectation; the house and property were beautiful and well maintained—everything in the description of the house was so true-and unique. Our host was so kind and helpful—Kathryn’s house has a well maintained elevator ,wheel chair ramps and a bathroom equipped with rails and adjustable shower . Kathryn also recommended a company that provides a beach mobility chair —unfortunately we were unable to utilize the chair because of the beach damage left by hurricane Ian. All of the house accommodations provided a wonderful experience for my husband who is handicapped and family being able to spend more time with him. We spent so much time in the house and going to the beach right across the street. It was a treat to sit on the balconies to visit and read or just sit and rock. I wished that our time would never end. Thank you Kathryn for the lovely sojourn —we will never forget our time at Coral Mist.

Best Handicap accessible beach rental ever!

Our family of 13 stayed here and it was a fabulous home! We enjoyed the pool, the two living rooms were great for our kids! Beautiful views! Beds were all very comfortable! Owner was super helpful in locating a beach wheelchair for my son! We will definitely stay again! The only negative was we didn’t have closet space in most rooms.

Wonderful location and vacation!

We had a wonderful week at Coral Mist this summer. 4 families shared the house and we had plenty of space for everyone. It’s a very short walk to the beach and the pool is great. Kathryn is also very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful!

The house was beautiful! LOVED the location! Having the pool and the beach steps away was wonderful! It was a pretty calm, peaceful area even though we came during bike week. The hosts were very helpful and made our stay comfortable. Loved the porches.

Great family gathering place at the beach

This home was in a perfect location, near restaurants and shopping , and almost on the beach. The size was great for a large family, especially the number of bathrooms. If the weather had been a bit warmer, the private pool would have been nice! The owners were nearby and made sure everything was satisfactory.

Outstanding vacation house

Our large family had plenty of room at this beautiful house. Very close to the beach access so going back and forth to the beach. We especially loved the large living room/dining room and kitchen area which provided plenty of room for everyone to be together. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We sat around the pool in the afternoons and had such fun. Looking forward to returning to Coral Mist next summer!
