Le Springburn Cottage est un établissement indépendant situé à la campagne offrant un point de départ idéal pour des vacances en famille en plein air .. Rez-de-chaussée:
Espace de vie ouvert.
Surface habitable: Avec poêle à bois électrique, TV TNT, lecteur DVD et lecteur CD.
Salle à manger.
Coin cuisine: avec cuisinière électrique, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, congélateur et lave-vaisselle.

Le Springburn Cottage est une propriété rurale ind��pendante conçue par un architecte et située dans le canton de Fasach, à proximité de la maison du propriétaire. Le chalet et son emplacement offrent une évasion id��ale de la vie quotidienne occupée et offrent une vue imprenable sur la vallée du Minch et des îles périphériques. Glendale est à proximité et propose des cafés de saison et un certain nombre de studios d'artisanat spécialisés. Une belle zone de promenade avec la pêche locale dans les rochers. Neist Point Lighthouse est à seulement 4 miles. L'île a beaucoup à offrir aux amateurs de plein air, avec une marche pour tous les niveaux, du Black Cuillin pour les alpinistes expérimentés à la marche à basse altitude. Des excursions en bateau sont disponibles pour l'observation des aigles de mer ou des colonies de phoques. Vous pourrez également pêcher, faire du kayak, de la randonnée à poney et du vélo de montagne. Dunvegan est également à une courte distance en voiture. Vous y trouverez les plages de corail immaculées, le château et les jardins de Dunvegan, les tables MacLeod’s et Portree, capitale de l’île pour le shopping, les restaurants et le cinéma dans le centre des visiteurs Aros. Plage 1 mile. Magasinez ½ mile, pub 7 miles et restaurant 1 mile.

Great holiday cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely week. Underfloor heating is if anything too efficient, we were never cold! We wondered if the heating schedule needs looking at, the heating was coming on at some random times, and the individual thermostats aren’t the most intuitive to work, so the downstairs bedroom was roasting. But you can always open a window! Be warned, this cottage is pretty remote, 7 miles on single track road from the main Dunvegan road, then another 1/2 mile down a track to the house itself, which sits on a raised site above the track. We were very lucky with getting a glorious week in February, but had there been any snow or ice, then I reckon you might need a 4 x 4 to get there. And watch out for the Skye potholes!

Perfect for an away from it all break. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Lovely and warm and cosy to come back too after a day hiking the hills. Skye is beautiful & we enjoyed magnificent scenery & wonderful walking. Springburn Cottage was the perfect base to return to after a day in the mountains. Warm, clean and with a very well equipped kitchen. Washer / dryer useful after any wet days of hiking. Good hot shower always a bonus. Pristine cottage extremely clean - very well appointed and very well equipped. Very quiet. In a lovely part of the highland ideal for beaches and cliffs walks with fantastic restaurants. Otherwise about 45-60 drive from more serious hill walks like the Quiraing or Cullins. Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Nice holiday cottage for a 2 child family. Single track road to get to Glendale and cottage. Local store and cafe (awesome brownie) 10 mins walk away as well as playground. House itself a little spartan due to Covid requirements. Has Freesat, Wifi, BD player and TV. Views nice, could be better view of sea if next door chopped tops off their trees! Lovely sunsets. Dishwasher not currently working. Tidy and comfortable, shower downstairs, bath upstairs. Open plan downstairs good for children to play in. Local sheep roam but this is ok if the front gates are kept shut! Take what you are going to eat as larger store is an hour away! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Amazing cottage with a high living room ceiling and beautiful views. It was very clean and this was reassuring with respect to Covid 19. The owner explained that she had needed to remove cushions, games and books which we understood - the house is so lovely and this didn’t make any difference at all. The beds were very comfy. There were a number of places closed when we were there but we recommend a trip to Skye Weavers which is just up the road. The local shop at Glendale is like a tardis and has an amazing range of food and drink, very friendly too. Would love to return one day! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Loved this beautiful, cosy and very clean cottage. It is very rural which suited us perfectly however if your looking for shops, pubs etc close by then it probably isn’t where you want to be. Perfect as a get away from it all little haven.

What is there not to like with this cottage, a warm welcome, well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable in a fantastic location. Gives peace and quite whilst within good distance for Neist Lighthouse and Dunvegan. Don't assume travel by distance, always use time to travel as the island roads are predominantly single track with passing places. A week was not long enough to cover everything, and certainly a good base to visit all the small galleries, potteries and small businesses and coffee rooms dotted everywhere. Great weather helped of course, but make the most of what is there.

Springburn cottage is a lovely cottage set in a beautiful valley. It is quite remote location but that is part of it's charm. The cottage has everything that you may require, the bedrooms are comfortable, the lounge similarly so. The kitchen is fully equipped ad there is a laundry room.

This Cottage was wonderfully equipped and so welcoming.

This Cottage was wonderfully equipped and so welcoming. We loved being in it. Our only difficulty was the distance from shops and our discomfort driving on single-track roads in the dark. Everyone in our group thought it was a fantastic place and we loved waking up and looking at the view outside.

Just returned after a week at Springburn Cottage, an absolute pleasure staying there, met the owner Audrey who was so pleasant and happy to assist, obviously wants you to have a great holiday. Only marked down amenities such as shops because majority are in Dunvegan, although local shop just 10 mins walk. Would happily go back there .

A delightful well appointed cottage, where many detail thought about and provided for. Well equipped and very comfortable. Easy access, lovely drive in and out. Wonderful rural surroundings with a great cafe, just down the road. Only awkward down side was that we failed to notice before booking, that the second bedroom had a double bed that could not be split into two singles.
