Thank you for your feedback. However, we were genuinely surprised by several of the claims, as they do not align with the condition of the property or the communication we received from you during your stay. Check-in instructions clearly outlined responsibilities regarding trash disposal, including where to take it. These details were also available in the welcome packet left at the property. The housekeeping team was not responsible for guest waste removal, and this has always been standard policy. The garage door and gate openers were tested prior to your arrival and were functioning properly. It appears the issue you experienced with the remote was due to pressing the button multiple times, when only a single press was needed. Our team demonstrated the correct use of the remote in your presence, and the gate opened as expected. If any issues arose with the equipment or its operation after that point, we were not informed during your stay. Regarding cleanliness, the home was thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and maintained with standard guest cleanings during your stay. However, each visit required more extensive cleaning than usual, including after your departure. If there were specific areas of concern, we were not provided with photos or details during your stay, which would have allowed us to address them more effectively. We also provided all listed amenities, including an initial supply of essentials like soap, paper products, and dishwasher pods, as is standard for short-term rentals. Guests are responsible for replenishing these items for longer stays or higher usage. Your reservation was made for 6 guests, and we were only informed of the 7th guest upon your arrival. While we were happy to accommodate the additional guest at no extra charge, we were not contacted afterward with any requests for extra towels or linens. As for the beach access, we encourage guests to ask any questions they have ahead of time. Sargassum is a natural occurrence that can affect the coastline seasonally and is outside of our control, but the smell you referenced was not reported during your stay and was not present during our inspection after your departure. We're always open to constructive feedback, but several claims here are inaccurate or misrepresent the situation. We take pride in the home and do our best to offer a welcoming, well-maintained space for our guests and we did so in your case as well.
