As soon as the door to the villa was opened, my husband and I were hit by an awful musty, damp odour, compounded further by the dishwasher being filled with the crockery of the previous guests which gave off a smell of rotting cheese. Yuck!!This was the most expensive villa we have stayed in and our least favourite. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped but the bedrooms were very dated, with saggy mattresses and basic beds. We had to move mattresses around to find 2 (from 8) that were reasonably firm and comfortable. The bathrooms are also in need of refurbishment.We encountered various issues during our week. As an example, although the villa can accommodate 6 people, there were only 5 sunbeds, 2 of which were broken on our arrival and a leg snapped off the third when my husband (a slim man) sat on it. The hairdryer listed on the inventory was missing so I had to go out dressed for the evening with damp hair. I could go on ....
