Perfect spot for a family vacation

Staying in this unit at Honua Kai made the trip! It was the perfect spot especially with little ones! Close to the pool and beach with amazing views and more than enough! We never once felt crammed in with 10 people. We are already wanting to come back!!

Location, Location, Location!

This condo is all about location, and it delivers! This condo appears to be the closest you can get to Duke’s, one of the hot-tubs/wading pool/pool with waterfalls, and still have a view of the ocean from the lanai. The location of the condo was outstanding, and we loved spending our days outside and easily going between the condo, pool, restaurant, and beach. The interior is older in style, but everything was clean and functional. If you’re looking for a prime spot for families rather than modern décor, this is a great option.

Really enjoyed the property. Worked out great for our large family of 10. Loved the Lani and grassy area. Spent lots of time on the Lani.Only issue was the living room/kitchen area we could not get the air to turn on so was warm. We had to keep the doors open to cool off this area. But the bedrooms were cool. We tried resetting after we closed the doors but nothing worked.

It sounds like a wonderful way to spend time together. I’m sorry to hear about the issue with the AC in the living room/kitchen area. At KBM Resorts, we have routine maintenance checks in place to ensure all systems are functioning properly prior to arrival, so it’s unexpected to hear this was not working as it should be during your stay. While we’re glad the bedrooms remained comfortable, the main living space should absolutely have been as well. Your feedback has been shared with our team so this can be inspected and addressed promptly. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are glad it didn’t take away from an otherwise enjoyable stay. We’d love to host you and your family again for an even more seamless experience.

Beautiful Maui Resort with Exceptional Service

This place was a beautiful place, great view, great service, and amazing location. KBM resorts addressed any issues we faced in a very timely manner and responded very quickly to anything we needed. Kids loved the pool amenities, open areas to run, and access to the beach. They had kid packages including a pack and play (bring your own sheet), beach toys, and a high chair. I would definitely be interested in coming here again for a future stay.

Nice family vacation

Wonderful resort and unit which was steps away from the pool. Only downside was that we felt the kitchen was not well equipped for our goup of 6, plus infant. We have stayed at many VRBO’s and never have we not had at least salt and pepper provided. For as much as we paid, you would think that would be provided

Decent property but service could be better

We had to request 3 times for toiletries and 2 days later it was delivered. They promised another toiletries delivery a few days later and we never got it either. Overall, the property was nice but the lack of service was disappointing.

This property was everything it showed on line. We plan on returning. We have fabulous cooks in the family and the kitchens were great. Well stocked with what was needed with appliances. Rooms and beds were very good. The location was we feel the best in the resort. Walk out the patio to the pool. Having the Tommy Bahama chairs available made the beach outings wonderful. Highly recommended resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It far exceeded our expectations! The location in proximity to the beach and pools was perfect. We has infants and children in our group and the spacious lanai and grass area was great for them.

This is a great unit!

We had a couple items that would have liked to be different but overall this is a great unit. It is spacious, easy access to the pools and Duke's. Having a grill was great, but it is difficult to see at night out there. You never run out of hot water. Be careful of the patio if your feet are wet or it rains, very slippery! The unit is literally next to the pools and Duke's but it is never too loud. There were 4 beach chairs, 5 boogie boards, an umbrella, cooler and beach towels. More than listed in the listing, it was great!!! We had some issues but KBM was immediately responsive with great customer service. The wi-fi wasn't too great, we had 4 kids doing school on some days and two working adults on a couple days too. Having the keys in the form of a bracelet was way better than a card. There were two ovens which was great to have access to. Bottom line, we would book it again due to the space and access to the pools, beach and Duke's.

Overall, a very nice unit and and nice resort!

Location of condo with very easy access to pools was great for a family with young children. Very close to beach. However, 5-10 minute walk on boardwalk to another beautiful sandy beach. Condo was beautiful and well-stocked. One of the K beds could use replacing and internet was often slow. Overall, a very nice unit and and nice resort. Definitely recommend, especially if traveling with children. I would give it a 4.5/5.0.

Perfect condo for a family

Beautifully appointed condo. Perfect for our family. Loved being on the ground floor with our own BBQ and yard. Came equipped with many things including boogie boards, cooler on wheels, lawnchairs. Resort is beautiful too. Great fitness room, nice pools, close to beach. Pools more suited to little kids. Better beaches close walk down the beach or boardwalk. Within walking distance to grocery store. Dukes very expensive but delicious. Cooked most of our meals in fantastic kitchen.

Awesome family vacation!!

This was our first vacation using VRBO and it was a great success. The KBM property at Honua Kai was exactly as pictured and described. Clean and plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 littles. The first floor location is ideal for quick access to any of the 3 pools and Dukes. The beach is about a 2 minute walk and a great place for family photos at sunset! Overall I would give more stars if I could. This place was truly awesome for our family vacation. If I have anything negative to say it would be to put some felt pads on the dining room chairs. They are loud enough to wake littles when pulled away from the table. Also the clothes dryer vent needs to be cleaned. Clothes take forever to dry. The construction noise people have mentioned was not an issue.

The KBM team are all excellent and very customer friendly. The KBM property at Honua Kai (150) was exactly as pictured and described. Clean and plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 littles.
