The house was just what we were looking for and Maria was great checking in on us to see if there was anything we needed. My family loved the heated pool.and it was a drive into Lisbon and other surrounding areas.
We had the best time at this gorgeous house! Lovely time lounging by the pool, playing games in the big living area, eating dinner outside on the back terrace. Comfy beds, clean property, air con in every room (very important for a group of Irish girls!) and a really great host who was very helpful. Thank you!
We loved our stay at this house in Estoril. Check-in was easy and everything was clean and ready for us. The bedrooms and common areas were very comfortable too. The pool was lovely, but we werenât able to spend much time in it due to some very cold weather but I think it would be terrific in the summer. Would highly recommend.
Perfect Stay for a Seamless Destination Wedding Celebration!
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Mariaâs VRBO in Estoril! From start to finish, the communication was outstandingâMaria was responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was seamless for our visit. The listing was completely accurate, and the property exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect for our family, providing incredible convenience to all of our wedding party activities. Whether gathering with loved ones, attending celebrations, or coordinating plans, this rental made everything easy and stress-free.If you're looking for a comfortable, well-maintained, and conveniently located place to stay in Estoril, this is it! We would absolutely return and highly recommend Maria as a wonderful host.
Stayed here with my family for my wedding weekend (6 adults). House/property is exactly as described in the pictures. Pool was beautiful, great deck, super comfortable beds, great AC throughout the house. Also close to downtown Estoril/the beach.
Would definitely stay again!
Great stay in Estoril. Close to Cascais, Sintra and an easy drive into Lisbon. Neighborhood feels super safe, beds are very nice. No issues with hot water and there is also a dryer. Of note there is construction going on across from the property, they start work about 8:00 amâ-which wasnât an issue for us but if you want to sleep until noon it might be necessary to close windows or use earplugs. Hosts very responsive, although we didnât have any issues that needed their help. . Would stay again
Excellent property for our family of 8. The toddlers and the adults loved having the pool. Lots of space for everybody. Very comfortable beds. A couple of things werenât working but the situation was handled very quickly by the owners. They were very easy to communicate with. Definitely a great stay.
Beautiful holiday house on quiet hillside overlooking Estoril, clean and spacious with private pool. Four bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, and two other bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen, balcony with barbecue. Owner is easily contactable, check-in and check-out were easy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to families/groups looking for a holiday property in Estoril.
Wonderful family vacation home. Everything was exactly as listed. Mariaâs home is very clean and comfortable and communication was seamless. We would definitely stay at Mariaâs home again.
The house is lovely, on the slope of a hill with great view. The host is very nice, the house has everything you need. The pool is small, but nice for a short dip. It is 15 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants.
We used this as a gathering place for two families (nine people in total) and the house served our needs very nicely. The kitchen is well-equipped and the house is a fifteen minute walk down to the beach. Maria was very responsive with the one problem we encountered.
My wife and I stayed in downstairs bedroom, our oldest and wife upstairs in 2nd bedroom their 3 small children in another room and our other adult son in the 3rd upstairs bedroom. We had a small issue with a toilet, but our host Maria had it taken care of. We were just a 10 minute drive to the popular and gorgeous beach area. Loved our stay.
This is a wonderful property for a group or family to relax, spread out and enjoy the pool and deck.
There is a very nice grocery store close by and it is easy access to the beautiful seaside area of Estoril/Cascais. Uber was inexpensive and readily available.
Our host, Maria was extremely helpful and available to answer questions, provide directions and local knowledge.
We had a wonderful stay in Estoril- house had everything we needed and was comfortable and spacious. Communication from owners was excellent. Just what we were looking for. It was perfect! Pool was bliss! Would highly recommend. Would suggest you have a car but is walkable to Estoril and the station to Lisbon is close by.
There is some building work going on across the valley from the house but it really didnât disturb us and we didnât notice it all.
The house was exactly as it was presented in the photos, so no bad surprises.
Everything was clean and lovely upon arrival.
It felt like a real home because it was cosy, tastefully decorated and spacious.
We have enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
Maria has always answered my many questions very quickly and thouroughly which was helpful!
Family group of 7 6adults one teen. House had 4 bedrooms and owner catered for all different room set up for our party. House was perfect and fully fitted out with everything needed. Pool was a little small but great for a cooling dip. In a quiet residential area u fortunately there was building works going on to rear of property with a tower crane so spoiled the view and was also a bit noisy.
On the whole great holiday in a lovely house, would love to go back when building work opposite has been completed. Beachâs were lovely and in walking distance town of Cascais was good and busy with lots to do.
We are so grateful to have had this home to share in the experience of the Estoril Open Tennis Tournament and our first trip to Portugal. It is close enough to walk to town, the pool (heated for a reasonable fee) was warm, and it had a beautiful garden.
If there was one thing that needed clarification is who comes/goes from the basement apartment during the stay. It wasn't an issue nor were we frightened. It would have been nice to know before that someone will be coming/going in the same house but in a separate space, entering through the garden.
At all times he was respectful and kind and we had a great stay.
We would like to know before.
This area has many people walking, most have dogs and you will pass them on walks. It is easy to get to markets, the highways and Lisbon.
Estoril has many new builds, the construction noise can impact your experience bur isn't constant.
Their maid was friendly and professional. It was worth it to have her tidy mid-way through the stay.
The owners had marvelous communication. If you ask them, they will respond.
We travel with our dog and teenage children and we would gladly return here to stay again!
Lovely villa, bit of an uphill walk from the beach and promenade but great breeze makes it worth it! Rooms v comfortable, AC effective in the bedrooms helping sleep in the summer. Host responsive and helpful. Remade the beds as twins when kids changed rooms- v grateful for that.
We (4 adults, 4 kids aged 5-12) enjoyed a weekend here in November. Communication with Maria was easy in advance of our stay although a bit slower once checked-in (we had some questions about the heating).
House: The home is very pretty although certain aspects are a bit dated (bathrooms and some furnishings) it didn't really impact our stay. The view out back is wonderful and the yard and pool were well-enjoyed. Inside the house is cozy and well equipped with bedding, towels, robes, etc. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 master plus 2 rooms with single beds) and 2/3 had very comfortable beds while the third less so. Downstairs is the living area and the 4th bedroom. The living room with fireplace was a wonderful place to gather and enjoy family time. Lots of firewood available was a big plus. The kitchen was well-stocked although we did miss a frying pan that worked on the induction stove (only the pots worked). We didn't realize this until our last evening so didn't reach out for help as there simply wasn't time and we just adjusted our meal plans, but it's a simple fix.
It is worth noting that the house has a basement apartment/unit that was occupied while we were there. It was really a non-issue for us but surprised us to see that second access into the private yard and think it should be mentioned in the listing (as, again, it's really no big deal but people should be aware).
We did have one issue with the floor in the master bedroom needing repair (parquet floor which was cracking and buckling). Maria informed me of this just the day prior to our arrival (not sure when it happened but we'd have appreciated a bit more notice). While it was seemingly a minor inconvenience, it did mean we had to be careful where we stepped and our middle child did cut his toe on one broken piece. Athough hopefully the floor has since been fixed, we think some area rugs would have been a good solution.
The location of the house is nice with a peekaboo sea view and a beautiful view across to other homes, lots of trees, etc. It is indeed walking distance to the beach, although the walk down is much easier than the walk back up (very much UP!). The return trip is steep and would be challenging for anyone with any kind of limited mobility (even just older folks and/or smaller children).
Overall we would certainly stay again at Maria's home as the positives do far outweigh the negatives!
Nice house with good amenities located in a quiet residential area. We didnât have a car but walking down to shops, water front or train station didnât take long.
Easy contact with Maria throughout.
Really enjoyed our stay
