We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Triana. Itâs conveniently situated for exploring both Triana and the heart of historic Seville. Transport easy with airport bus stop a 6/7 minute walk (over lovely bridge) away. Large supermarket close by.
Well-equipped, clean and easy to manage.
We negotiated the ceiling height upstairs with no difficulty - a little care needed to visit ensuite at night perhaps!
We also liked feeling a part of the day to day life of our neighbours around the internal courtyard of the building.
DO NOT stay here! It's run by a management company not an owner which means you are an afterthought at best once they have your money.
Pros
* The apartment was modern and the neighbours were really helpful (see cons)
Cons
* It's more Los Remedios than Triana
* While we were waiting for check in one very dodgy guy was hanging around looking at our luggage. We had to briefly leave the area.
* There were a few cockroaches inside
* The communication from the management company was abysmal. They ignored most messages responding only when it concerned payment. Check in information was never provided. I had to track them down and call them myself to find out where we were going.
* On the final night the wall mounted boiler started overflowing and there was hot water everywhere in the kitchen. The emergency numbers provided were no longer in service and it took them hours to respond by WhatsApp. Luckily the neighbours helped by getting a ladder and turning off the supply. I moved my family to a nearby hotel and the management company agreed to reimburse me for the one night we were there. A week later they have not done this and are not responding to any messages.
I will be lodging a complaint with VRBO imminently.
A good experience but property advertised for 5. We were 3 single individuals and found the area on the mezzanine unsuitable for adults because of low ceilings. It was adequate for a short stay but lack of outside windows disappointing
Great location in trendy Triana mere minutes from the historic district. The apartment is ingeniously laid out with a loft bedroom above the lower bedroom. The space is great for two couples but the loft bedroom and bathroom might be challenging for someone over 6 feet, although we made it work.
