The property is beautiful and quiet, and the cottages are quaint and a lovely place to stay. Iâll continue to return to Willow Creek when visiting Cape May.
Quiet setting at a beautiful winery away from the commercial bustle of the beachfront, but just a short drive to the beaches. Winery has a nice restaurant a short walk from the apartment.
We were only in town for two days but wished we were able to stay longer. The cottage was lovely, very clean, and we had everything we needed plus more. I would defiantly stay here again without hesitation!
Visited the Willow Creek cottages for a short stay. The accommodations were especially clean and comfortable. The directions were easy to follow and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We will be returning soon.
The cottage is lovely and the grounds are outstanding. I just wish I had been able to stay long.
Merlot cottage has a drip coffee maker AND a KeurigâI wish I had know about the latter before the trip, a I would have brought my own K-cups.
I rented this cottage for my parents as a little getaway. They absolutely loved it! Very charming and clean, nestled in a beautifully manicured vineyard. Many thanks to the hostess, and we would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful weekend visiting the property. It was an ideal location if youâre wanting to be a bit off the beaten path. We loved being so close to the winery yet just a short distance from town, shops and the beach. We had a great time visiting Cape May and look forward to our next trip.
My husband and I stayed this past weekend and we loved the little cottage. Perfect space for 2 peopleKitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was comfortable although my husband would have preferred a harder bed. We loved the little porch. Charming
My husband and I had to put our honeymoon on hold due to COVID. The cottage and winery were amazing! The property was so clean and cozy. The communication was great as well! We would definitely return!
Celebrated our 30th anniversary here at the vineyard. Great location being on the property and knowing we would be spending the evening at Willow Creek with wine, dinner and live music. Just a bike ride away from Sunset Beach, Cape May Lighthouse and downtown Cape May. Highly Recommended!
The Merlot cottage is very nice, and clean, however, there should be a warning on VRBO about the ant problem before booking. When you check-in you are given instructions about keeping food in the refrigerator because of ants. Ants were in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The AC in the living room blew a fuse every 20 minutes and we were instructed how to reset the fuse outside. We followed the instructions and still blew a fuse. Thankfully it was not hot and he AC in the bedroom worked great. There were dirty dish towels left in the washer and a very dirty sponge in the kitchen which we threw away. We had to wash the towels since we were only provided 1 towel for each person and we stayed 2 nights. Management did respond to our concerns promptly. The Winery was very nice and so was the winery staff and the grounds are beautiful.
Had a nice quiet weekend at the cottage. Had a nice tapas dinner at the winery and a great breakfast at the farm down the road. Would stay again.

Lovely setting, attention needed
The location and setting on the vineyard are nice. There were however several disappointments and frustrations.
There is no cable tv in the house. If you don't mind accessing everything online, then this house is for you. There was however Netflix set on the previous renters profile settings.
Upon arrival, the cottage was very musty and the bathroom smelled like cats. After a thorough airing out it was fine, but this should be done prior to check ins.
The bathroom door would not close, and the main door had to be slammed each time, to lock.
In four days, no fresh towels were provided or offered. On the shelf were sets of two bath, face and wash cloths for the duration.
We will research other properties in the future. Perhaps the cottages next door at Plum Beach farm.
Great location if you want to stay away from the noise. Cozy cottage, just right for two guests. Nice Firm bed, if you have a favorite pillow then bring it.
Barbara runs the property and is quick to respond and get you settled in.
Besides the nice winery on premises, there is an non-affliated farm next door 500 ft away, to have a nice breakfast. Location, Peace, and Qiuet to get re-charged and re-fired.
This was the perfect getaway my girlfriend and I needed. We searched for weeks for a nice place in Cape May that wasn't too touristy, and too expensive. The property this cottage sits on is absolutely beautiful. The cottage was very nice, clean and modern. Location was very close to town in a very quiet area. We ate at the winery and had enjoyed a few glasses of wine by their bonfire on Friday night, they have a great setup, we were very impressed. Communication between the owner and myself was fantastic, she wrote back to me very quickly. We plan on coming back to Cape May and will be staying here when we return!
When you pull up to the property your first reaction is Bordeaux or Italy. Truly the most tranquil and beautiful property in Cape May. Every well-groomed vine, flower, and garden adds to the luxurious well-groomed beauty.
Stroll the vineyards, walk back and enjoy a wine tasting and Chef Brian's delicious grill menu at the winery. Enjoy the chickens and fresh eggs and delicious farm-grown produce. Excellent mattress, relaxing porches, original art, and lovely decor add to the relaxing experience. Enjoy wonderful activities, live music, and great food available on-site at the winery.
