We have booked an apartment with Alan in North Greenwich several times. A certain routine has developed. The booking, check-in and key return process is perfect. We particularly appreciate the parking space in the underground garage.
Had a great week in London, the apartment was exactly as we expected. Just a short walk to North Greenwich Underground station, perfect for trips into town. Would always return.
Location is perfect to to the North Greenwich tube station and the 02 has good facilities. Perfect if you were going to an event there. Accomodation had all the facilities needed for a longer stay which is really helpful.
Definitely recommend. This property is very well located with proximity to O2 arena as well as public transportation. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained. We had a comfortable stay here.
A group of friends and I booked this property for a weekend, and it was a great experience overall. The decoration and accommodation are fairly spartan, but clean. The kitchen was well equipped and functional, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The beds were fairly comfortable. Overall, a good stay!
We had a lovely time staying in this apartment. It is conveniently located close to bus and tube. The facilities are excellent with a full kitchen that meant we could do our own cooking. The apartment felt very safe with a wonderful view over the Thames.
Nice place in a safe neighborhood. No A/C so got very hot inside. Close to O2 and tube station. Lots of construction going on as they are building up the neighborhood. Overall good experience.
What a little gem of a flat in London, great neighbourhood and felt very safe. Very close to O2, Excel and loved the cable car commute each day. Gorgeous strolls along the Thames, literally 10 mins from tube station. Flat has everything you need and lovely little balcony to soak up the sun. Will definitely be returning.
Great comms from host, pleasure to deal with throughout.
Appartment was clean and accommodated four people nicely. The fans kept it comfortable for sleeping during our June stay. NIce neighborhood and very convienent to the O2. The host responded in a timely manner to questions.
Only problem was the washing machine dryer did not work and I don't understand the cash cleaning charge.
Nice apartment with great view over Thames. Very handy for 02 (15 minute walk). Bed in spare room could do with repair or replacing as was quite wobbly and mattress not the most comfortable. Beds in main bedroom were sturdy and comfy. Issue with payment going through Vrbo which wasn't explained until we arrived. So if you have issues paying through Vrbo check with owner.
Just as advertised. Clean, simple & functional, a rather no-frills flat with a terrific view and all the basics to make life comfortable.
The pillows were huge and hard, but since we travel with our own, we were happy. There were no paper towels, and no extras - coffee/tea, shampoo, etc. so be prepared. The
flat did have dish soap and dishwasher tabs, but no laundry detergent for the clothes washer. And speaking of clothes - if youâre not familiar with European machines, be prepared for a lengthy laundry day.
We were very happy with the location! Steps from a well-stocked small CoOp market, and a short walk to lots of restaurants, a lovely park, and a walkway along the water.
The hosts were nice and It was perfect for our 4 day stay!
Just had a 3 night stay at this fab little apartment.
Clean, comfortable & quiet despite lots of building work happening close by.
We were met by Olga at Check-in who took us to the parking space then the apartment & showed us round.
Supermarket just outside the front door.
Flat & easy 10 min riverside walk to the O2 arena, Uber river boat, jubilee line & IFS cable car. Shops, another supermarket & restaurants in/around the O2.
Apartment spotlessly clean. Good supply of loo rolls & washing up items & 1 tea-towel provided.
2 bedside drawers & Large double Wardrobe in larger bedroom with twin beds. Lots of coat hangers provided. En-suite shower room with handy storage cabinet. Shower temperature control very tight to turn down.
A large chest of drawers in the other double bedded bedroom but no wardrobe.
Larger Main bathroom in the hall had shower over the bath at a strange height - perfect for children but only shoulder height for adults.
2 small/medium towels per person provided..
Curtains in the bedrooms are light in colour so let in lots of Docklands lights all through the night and most of the daylight in the early mornings.
Great view from the living room and bedrooms of the Thames and Docklands. Good speed WiFi.
Had great communication with Alan throughout the booking process who was very patient & reassuring when there was a prolonged computer glitch with paying our final instalment.
Will definitely be returning to this super little apartment one day.
The place was as stated and shown in the listing. London isn't big on air conditioning and the day of our arrival was uncomfortable due to higher than usual temperature and humidity. The other days and nights were normal. Finding some fans was a big help especially for sleeping.
The street is a pedestrian walkway so drivers will have to stop about 50 meters from the front of the building for drop off and pickup.
Sehr gut gelegen, in nur 20 Minuten in der City. Einkaufen in der NĂ€he.
Vermieter sehr freundlich. :)
This property overall met our needs while staying in London. It was safe and secure and had a view of the river. Everything was as described.
Our check in was delayed as they had extra cleaning to do from the last guests. While this was appreciated, it wasn't well-communicated and resulted in us waiting outside in the cold at the arranged check in time until we texted after waiting 20 minutes and were then told to wait inside at reception.
The check in process after that was good, with a representative giving us all the information about the property.
During our stay we realised that the dryer part of the washer/dryer wasn't working, so we could wash our clothes but then we had to hang them over the drying rack near the boiler so that they could dry and this took a while for some of the thicker items of clothing. It also took up space near the entry/bathroom so we were constantly having to squeeze past. We texted and asked for extra towels due to the length of drying time required. They were brought to us later that day.
The heating also seemed to be on a timer so that after every few hours, it would revert to a set temperature, meaning we were constantly having to boost it up if we were home, and first thing in the morning as it was cool when we woke up.
Apart from these two things, the rest of the property was good. The oven and cooktop worked well, and having two bathrooms was very welcome - although the shower in the main bathroom over the bath could have been mounted higher. To shower in there you needed to be on your knees, but there was a full height shower in the bathroom attached to the bedroom where our kids slept.
In terms of location, it is a bit far out of London if you're going up there every day, which we did, but if you're on a bit of a budget as we were, it was the price we paid for not having to spend thousands more on accommodation. If you don't mind riding the train for 20+ minutes and walking 10 minutes each time it's fine. We have teenagers so not really a problem for us. If you have younger children it might be a bit of a hassle.
Overall we had no major problems and enjoyed our time here.
