Upperdeck est un véritable chez-soi avec un livre d'or plein de commentaires charmants.
Nous sommes situĂ©s Ă  5 minutes en voiture de 7 superbes plages situĂ©es entre Padstow et Park Head. Upperdeck propose un hĂ©bergement flexible pour les familles avec 2 chambres merveilleusement spacieuses, chacune avec salle de bains privative au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, avec la possibilitĂ© d’avoir 2 lits en Z pour les jeunes visiteurs. Une chambre a un lit king size, l'autre chambre a deux lits jumeaux avec la possibilitĂ© d'ĂȘtre zippĂ©s ensemble pour faire un lit de 6 pieds. Une buanderie. Le salon Ă  l'aspect triple offre un espace confortable et relaxant, une console de jeux, une tĂ©lĂ©vision, un lecteur DVD, des portes donnant sur une grande terrasse avec barbecue. A l'Ă©tage, vous trouverez une cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e, une grande table Ă  manger en chĂȘne avec des siĂšges pour 6 personnes et un deuxiĂšme salon confortable. Les installations du parc St Merryn comprennent un bar sportif; bar servant de la nourriture, des boutiques et des courts de tennis (les horaires d'ouverture saisonniers peuvent s'appliquer Ă  toutes les installations). Aussi parc pour enfants et terrain de football / basketball en gazon synthĂ©tique. Fantastic Accommodation- highly recommended

Great Property, great location and great hosts - the cream tea on arrival was a lovely gesture. Location is superb and all amenities are close by- would stay again and would highly recommend.

A comfortable and pleasant stay

This place is an excellent family home, great use of inside and outside space. This is one of the best houses we’ve stayed in and it’s a great location. Hosts very friendly and accommodating and left clotted creams, jam and scones! Highly recommend

Great place to stay

Great location near the beaches. Upper Deck is located in a quiet holiday park. The property was spacious and well equipped with a wrap around garden which was great for the dogs. Hosts communication was excellent and they left scones with jam and clotted cream upon arrival. Overall we had a lovely visit.

Very clean and well equipped with a good sized garden which is fully enclosed and secure. Facilities on St Merryn holiday village are an added bonus. Hosts are friendly and very helpful, would definitely return.

We very much enjoyed our 2 week stay. Everything we needed was there and assisstance was at hand when required. It was great for our fog as garden and living room were easy access. BBQ was spot on. Very clean and tidy on arrival . Thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks.

The property was extremely spacious and clean, perfectly well equipped. Comfortable inside and out with a very safe wrap around garden for our dogs. Excellent location for the 7 bays. Interactions with the owners was excellent, they were in the adjacent property during our stay, they were accessible and very friendly albeit not intrusive in the slightest.

Lovely property, great location.

Great place to stay while we adventured a few places in Cornwall. Had everything we needed, clean and tidy property. Gated entrance and enough room for two cars. The “site” was perfect. Lovely little bar and shop a few minutes walk away but so peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen well equipped, comfy beds, great sized garden for the pooch to have a run in and enjoyed the sunshine. Would stay again. Lovely hosts. Thank you.

Always fantastic at upper deck!

Our third stay! Upper deck is perfect for what we need and want, bedrooms are lovely and large, both with ensuites is an added bonus. Comfy beds and plenty of storage space. Downstairs lounge is comfy and lovely to sit down after a long walk along the beaches. The kitchen is well equiped with everything we have ever needed. And the new sofa chairs in the seating area up there are amazingly comfy, i sat and watched the colours of the sunset come through one night. Its peaceful, quiet and ian and lesley are always on hand if you need them. Amazing people. Cant wait to book our fourth visit soon. Thank you again.

Perfect for us!

A really special house which is so light and spacious. It has a fabulous wraparound garden which is perfect for dogs and toddlers! Everything felt safe and the location was nice and quiet (although out of season). You can even see the sea in the distance from the top of the house, which was lovely. We found it to be a very easy place from which to explore the beautiful area. Communication with the owner felt very easy but communication with the agent felt a bit more difficult. When I received an e-mail from them, I then had to put in a password to retrieve the information which I found long-winded. The information also seemed a bit bitty rather than being clearly presented altogether so I found I was scrolling through several different e-mails to find the details I needed. Other than that, everything was great and the house suited our family so well. Would certainly stay there again!

A big birthday celebration

Lovely quiet location with the added bonus of a big garden all fully enclosed ideal for pets. A well looked after holiday property. Not far from some gorgeous beaches. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Our negative points were: The stairs are very narrow towards the bottom anyone with limited mobility might struggle. We all found the pillows a little flat and uncomfortable. The shower en suite was quite cold despite the heated towel rail, there appeared to be an electric fan on the wall but we couldn’t find how it worked. The mattress on one of the single beds was a bit tired. Despite these small issues we all had a lovely time. The little nook up stairs where the kitchen diner is was lovely The seating up there was comfy and cosy. The kitchen and dining area are very good. Lots of kitchen utensils. The two bedrooms downstairs are huge both en-suite. The house was always cosy and warm. Useful utility room downstairs. All in all a really nice house for a holiday.

Great property in excellent location

Stayed for a week in this lovely house at the end of August. The property is big with lots of room for a family of 4. The upstairs kitchen and sitting area was a great space for family food / social / games. The house is really well equipped with everything you could need. Outside garden was lovely. And secure for our dog to roam. The location of this ‘holiday village’ was perfect for exploring the beaches and coastal walks along the north coast (some great beaches just 10 mins drive away), and easy 40 mins drive to the south, ie for hanging gardens of Heligan. Only one negative to feed back would be the poor / intermittent WiFi, which for two older teenage boys was a frustration. No mobile data signal either. And a smart TV would be a great addition to the property, then guests could log into their own streaming services for family viewing on evenings In! Would definitely recommend this property and stay again.

A super place to stay if you want to be near beaches etc. The only thing that was a negative was that the bus doesn't stop at the top of the road so we had to drive into St Merryn to cat h the bus. The property was faultless 😊

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this area to build Upperdeck because of its perfect balance of peaceful surroundings and easy access to Cornwall's stunning coastline. We’ve always loved the charm of the area, with its mix of quiet, rural beauty and proximity to vibrant places like Padstow and the 7 Bays. The beaches here are some of the best in Cornwall, and the atmosphere is always relaxed, making it ideal for both adventure and relaxation.

As for the house itself, Upperdeck has always been a happy home. We built it in 2000 with the idea of creating a space that felt like a real retreat—a place where friends and family could gather, relax, and make lasting memories. The design is a bit of a Tardis, with two spacious ensuite bedrooms downstairs, a large utility room, and a cosy main lounge. Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining area, and second lounge with comfy chairs offer the perfect setting for family meals and relaxing evenings. It’s a home that’s been full of love and laughter, and we hope it will continue to provide that to all our guests.
