We had a great experience in this property. Spotlessly clean, perfectly located, everything we as a family needed for a great holiday. The owner was really helpful and hopefully we will be back :-)
Great to have secured Sarahâs property for a long weekend over Easter. This little cottage was perfect for what we needed; clean, warm, welcoming of our dogs and Pete to situated for a stroll into Padstow or driving to explore further
What a fab little find. The cottage is perfectly located for all a Padstow has to offer. It is clean, tidy and has all you need to make your trip a Home from Home experience. It was ideal for our girlie weekend away and we will back again soon for sure.
Really good for a place while kids are at boardmasters. Nice garden and well provisioned property. 20 minute walk to Padstow has some walking in a busy road and its 20 going in downhill but 30 coming back uphill. An icecream helps there.
House itself has everything you need and nearby Trevonne bay is great for a swim, especially if you walk along the footpath to the little pool thats great for a dip when the tides correct.
Enjiyed it. Its north Cornwall so expect bigger waves.
We absolutely loved our stay at the pad. With everything you would ever need!! We ate in each night with friends even visiting us too, we had plenty of space and all the supplies we needed!
On arrival we found complimentary Wine and Biscuits which went down a treat after the long journey there!!
Our daughter loved enclosed area to the front where she could ride her bike and even fly her kite.
Whilst the bathroom is small it is fully functional and clean.
We couldn't change the weather and typical british summer time it rained the majority of the time, but that didn't stop our fun and with a couple of dvds available we managed a cosy night in with cheese biscuits from one of the deli's in nearby Padstow, some hot chocolate for the little one and wine for us grown ups!
Easy travel to many of the many of the surfing hotpots, we first visited Polzeath. Only a 25 minute drive. And Newquay also only around half an hour away!
Perfect location, Clean Tidy and Everything youll need!
We cant wait to visit again!
We've had a great few days at 'the Pad' in Padstow , thank- you Sarah.... On arrival we were impressed with the tranquil setting and the secure walled garden was perfect for our dog, this was his first break away from home and he settled straight away. The cleanliness of the cottage was excellent and everything maintained immaculately with everything you could possibly need, including cleaning products, Wi fi connection, and the all important phone charger in case you forgot to take your own !
The weather was great for April and allowed for exploring the Cornish coastline.
Padstow is well worth a visit with it's harbour, shops and restaurant's, and very dog friendly.
We visited Port Isaac and enjoyed walks on the beach at Trevone. We will certainly be returning to this beautiful location, our break was short but very relaxing, highly recommended.
My family have just spent 4 nights at the Pad and we had such a lovely time. Itâs in a quiet location with a spacious but enclosed outside area perfect for children and dogs. We found the walk to and from town slightly tricky with a toddler as there is no pavement for the first part of the way, but the road is quiet so it wasnât too much of an issue. The walk back is uphill and took us about 20 minutes (or 15 minutes without the toddler!). The Pad had all of the amenities we needed with lovely comfortable beds and a decent shower. If we ever visit Padstow again we will definitely book to stay here.
Our group were staying here and at other Meadow Court properties on our Cornish golf tour. The accommodation was just as described and ideal for us. Very comfortable, and very easy to get around to golf in the day and Padstow in the evening
Lovely comfortable cottage ideal for short break, all basic equipment provided.
Fabulous location to explore north and south Cornwall.
Owner very helpful. Would highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small but perfectly formed properly. There was a small walled garden for the dog and all the amenities you needed for a break away. It was 3 minutes drive to Padstow and 10 minutes drive from a host of beaches.
It was clean and a great base to be in. There are neighbouring houses but couldnât hear a thing. We wouldnât hesitate to book again!
What a great little property, fab garden for dogs, very homely and well equipped. Possible to walk down to Christmas market. Made it fab. Thank you so much.
Good quality, high end self catering. Kitchen equipment was excellent. Sharp knives, lots of pans etc, tin and bottle openers that worked!
Warm, clean with fresh decor. Good value, a great base for walks as well as visits to local towns.
I came to the Pad with my girlfriend for a surprise birthday present and she was very pleased with our stay. We both loved our time in Padstow and had everything we needed in the property. It was very cosy and we will be recommending it to friends and family.
We have just enjoyed our second stay at The Pad, this time for two weeks. On arrival The Pad was impeccably clean and tidy, it's quiet location is relaxing and the Pad has a lovely homely feel to it. The Pad has everything you need from Kitchen utensils / cooking facilities to local maps in the cupboard to help you make the most of your stay in Cornwall.
We particularly love Treyarnon beach close by which has a delightful coved beach with super surfing and rock pools along with toilet facilities and refreshment vans offering a variety of food, hot and cold drinks and ice creams including dairy free.
Thanks for the complimentary wine and biscuits! I'm sure we'll be back again, super location and facilities.
The property was clean and tidy on arrival. The bottle of wine and shortbread waiting for us were enjoyed thank you đ. Everything you could need on a self catering holiday was there. Truely "Homeaway"! A beautiful base to come back to after a busy day exploring or just to rest for the day.
The location is beautiful with fields surrounding and very quiet along a small country lane. It's a 10 min walk to Padstow harbour area and 20-25 minute walk to Trevone bay...beautiful. All neighbours were quiet.
Prior to the holiday we contacted Sarah who answered our questions promptly.
Sarah contacted us after the holiday to advise that the ÂŁ50 deposit would be returned (as we had left the holiday home clean and tidy): the first owner (of many properties we have rented before) to ever do that...thank youđ.
We will highly recommend this holiday home to any family and friends who may visit Cornwall in the future.
Thank you Sarah!

I was born and grew up in Sheffield and moved from Yorkshire to the Midlands in my late 20s. I am married and work as an Advisory Teacher in Staffordshire. I love the outdoors and am most relaxed when I'm by the sea - whatever the weather!
I have been a visitor to Cornwall all my life and have very happy childhood memories of summer holidays spent in and around Padstow. When the opportunity arose to buy a second home I didn't consider anywhere else - it had to be Padstow!
