Family Weekend

Couldn't have asked for a better first-time stay in Decorah, especially for three families with small kids. Great central location and the room layouts along with the thoughtful touches from the hosts made it feel like home. Highly recommended!

Carefree and Relaxing

Ideal get a way. Shout out to Katleen & Bruce for having everything perfect for us to turn the key and enter into a carefree and relaxing weekend. This property’s location was perfect for shopping & experiencing downtown Decorah. Exceptionally clean!

Great fall weekend in Decorah

Dolly's place had everything we wanted for a family weekend in Decorah. Walking distance of downtown, plenty of space, all the amenities, etc. Our day usually started and finished on the wonderful front porch talking with friends and family. Bruce was great and would definitely stay there again.

Wedding weekend

Dolly,s Place was fantastic. Exceptionally clean. Kitchen was large well stocked and perhaps the nicest I've ever seen in a rental. Private and quiet. Two blocks from downtown. Two blocks from a grocery store. Many extras provided. We were in town for a wedding and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend Dolly's to anyone.

Girls week

We all loved it and can’t wait to plan another trip to the area. The property was exceptionally clean and adorable, close to downtown so we did a lot of walking, shopping and eating. The place felt like home and owners were great, exceeded all expectations!

Perfect House

Such an adorable house. It was perfect for our group. Easy to find and within walking distance to fun shops and restaurants. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great location, beautiful hpuse!

Dolly’s was the perfect place for my family together, all from different areas. The house is beautiful, with the front porch to drink coffee on and the back patio with a lot of room for people to hang out on. Location is perfect for every place. You would want to go in Decorah. We loved our stay, and will be back!

Great Stay

Have stayed in houses before. This is the first one that didn’t have a laundry list of jobs that had to be done before we left. Didn’t even have to strip the beds or wash the dishes or towels! Home was clean and definitely comfortable. Very happy!

Great Stay

Dolly's place was a great home to host family for our daughter's graduation from Luther College. We had the grandma's with us, so the first floor bedroom and bathroom worked really well for one that has trouble with steps. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were able to walk downtown for coffee Saturday morning and a little shopping. We have fallen in love with Decorah over the last few years. We will definitely return to Decorah and Dolly's Place in the future!

Polly’s has so much character and lots of charm. The house had plenty of space for a group of people. The owners were great to work with. I loved the house!

Just what we were looking for. Lots of room and the front porch was great. Everything was as advertised and the location was close to everything . Would recommend this property for anyone looking for space and a great location in Decorah.

Awesome for family gathering

We had mulit-family gathering here and it was perfect. We really appreciated their flexibility in check-in/check-out time. The location was ideal! It's just short walk to downtown, a few blocks to get on the bike trails, there is a really nice basketball court and playground just down the street. The neighborhood felt really safe and was quiet. We loved all the 'usable' spaces for gathering at the house: 2 sitting areas on front porch, good size dining room table, family room and nice back deck w/table for dining. I cooked a few meals and found the kitchen to be really well appointed. I would HIGLY recommend this place to anyone!

Perfect Family Getaway

Dolly's Place was the perfect home for our family vacation in Decorah. The location of the house is ideal as we could walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, a movie theater, and a playground. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities of home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

There is no better location in Decorah if you want to be in the center of it all. Sit on the front porch and relax. Walk downtown and enjoy the many unique shops Decorah has to offer. Food on your mind....absolutely the best restaurants in the area. If you choose to cook, a fabulous grocery down on next corner. A great family gathering place. Children with you, a top-notch playground at the end of the block. Very safe and quiet location.
