My family had a wonderful time in Vernazza. The property was beautiful, clean, had a great view and very comfortable. Lucca was so wonderful getting not only with our accommodations, but also helping us with luggage service and check-in. Definitely somewhere we would go back to in the future. Thank you for making our holiday spectacular!!

Il Conventino is a little slice of heaven on earth. My family of 6, including my parents and my children had an incredible stay here at this magical location. It is truly so beautiful that people will try to follow you in the gate thinking it is part of the incredible hike between Vernazza and Monterosso. The view is so amazing it is hard to describe and the conversion of the convent is exquisite with excellent air conditioning in the bed rooms and a shower with surprisingly good water pressure.

The location is right on the hiking path and there is nothing but sea and sky to enjoy out of almost every window.

Luca and Emanuela were helpful, charming and communicative and took care of all of our questions including making excellent recommendations for restaurants. Emanuela even went out of her way to assist my mother in carrying her bag up the hillside steps which was so appreciated!

We rented this house for 3 nights in early July and loved it! The location was fabulous and house was very clean. Given the heat wave we experienced during our stay, we especially appreciated the A/C. Would highly recommend this property.

We cannot thank Luca enough for welcoming our family to Il Conventino. Words and pictures just do not convey the magic of his home in Vernazza. From watching our boys explore the rocks around the cove as we relaxed on our chairs in the living room, to sampling Vernazza’s restaurants recommended by Luca and Emanuela, to hitting the trails between the villages of Cinque Terre right from the front gate, to the ringing of the church bells, and watching the local fishermen ply their Gozzos, our family enjoyed a quintessential Italian vacation thanks to Il Conventino and Luca’s hospitality. The home was spotless, kitchen well appointed, bedrooms comfortable (with air conditioning and views to die for) and a terrace overlooking the harbor complete with dining table under a bougainvillea draped arbor. Cinque Terre is a jewel of the Italian coast, Vernazza its most picturesque village, and Il Conventino the best spot to experience it all. We cannot wait to visit again, and hope to find Il Conventino waiting for us when we do. Thank you Luca!
