Les planchers en bois, le plan de design propre et frais et les éléments décoratifs originaux évoquent le jeune esprit du quartier, tandis que les lits confortables et les draps de lit sont de bonne qualité.
L'appartement est au premier étage d'un immeuble victorien dans une jolie rue résidentielle verdoyante. Ouest face à la grande réception avec cuisine adjacente bien équipée est inondée de soleil dans l'après-midi. À l'arrière, 2 chambres orientées à l'est donnent sur un paisible jardin mature pour une nuit de sommeil parfaite. Perfect location in Sherperd's Bush
The appartment is quiet, clean and very well equipped. Located near to Notting Hill, Hyde Park etc. Tube, supermarkets, restaurants are very close. Tamara is perfect.

Beautiful gem close to everything
We had a wonderful stay in Shepherd’s bush. The place is very cute and lots of extra added touches. Close to 2 stations so easy to get around. Kitchen sparse so do not plan to make an extravagant meal but the basics are there! Tamara was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

comfortable and convenient
Property was in excellent condition, true to pictures on website. Plenty of room for a family of four. Tamara was a very gracious host. Also convenient access to the Tube. It was a nice neighborhood that was a little away from the touristy areas (though we could easily access all the sites), which we liked very much.

Amazing Host and Great Flat
Tamara the host literally couldn't have been better. Super responsive and accommodating. The flat is very nice and plenty big for a family of 4 (you'll want to be out and about anyway). Located near 2 stations but the one you'll generally want is a short walk to the center.

London Flat
Unfortunately, London experienced a heatwave during our stay. We missed having air-conditioning. However, we can't control the weather. Other than the heatwave our stay was delightful. Our host was terrific, generous and very helpful throughout the stay.

Nice family get away
Family of 4 stayed in this cute apartment which met our needs traveling for a London vacation from the United States. The convenience of the location to several tube stops made it so easy to get to central London. We also took advantage of the restaurant and pub suggestions left by the rental coordinator which was helpful. Tamara was quickly responsive when we arrived at the flat and had an issue with the key code to enter the unit. That was addressed right away without further incident.

Good sense of living in London
I had previously lived in London years ago, and wanted to give my sons a feel for what that was like. Rather than staying in a hotel, a VRBO gave them more of a sense of that. The distance to the Tube, as well as nearby shops and restaurants, gave them a good impression.
The place was clean and well organized and decorated well. Everything worked well (except we kept getting error messages from the dishwasher). We even got to meet a neighbor and have a pleasant conversation. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe.

Shepherds Bush
Other than a lot of anxiety regarding owner’s requirements for check in (came very close to not being able to access property when we arrived and couldn’t reach owner), the location was good and the neighborhood was uniquely arabic. Owner required identity confirmation through "Superhog" which I did the night before we flew but, apparently, she never received it. Apartment was small but clean and adequate. Extra charge for linens for 3rd person to sleep on futon sofa. Two nearby tube stations. Getting to all destinations was very easy.

Everything about guest ID verification, which we do out of simple protection from scams, is published on the listing. You received crystal clear and concise instructions the day you booked. You would have saved yourself a lot of that anxiety if you were more organised. VRBO lists private homes, not hotels with 24/7 concierge, so you need to prepare a bit before your trip. You chose to leave completing forms to the very last minute so please do not blame the host that we did not receive it in time. I am and I was contactable, albeit not at 3am in the morning. As any human being I need approx. 8hrs sleep. In your ignorance you were trying to contact me in the middle of the night, presumably thinking I was a call centre in Mumbai! Do your research. UK is not in the same time zone as US.
Your review is also quite racist. The neighbourhood is not uniquely arabic. There are people of all ethnicities living and working here. Plenty of English folk living here too and houses here for for upwards of £1.5mln and it is also a home to TV studios, Soho House, Westfield and Hoxton Hotel, which you forget to mention. You are referring to literally 1 part of Uxbridge Rd which happens to be full of fresh fruit & veg shops and few Lebanese & Syrian restaurants, which by the way are great, inexpensive and offer fantastic authentic food.
The extra charge for linen is advertised very well in the listing. Your very modest nightly price covers people sleeping in bedrooms. If you choose to sleep separately on a sofabed, yes, we need to cover that cost, as the rental price does not.
Next time instead of blaming a host for your own disorganisation, get organised. Thanks

Property manager was very rude
Tamara insisted that she gave me the correct door code (which she did not) and the directions on how to access the flat were simply awful. The flat itself was very tight - fortunately we are all 5 ft 10 in but if you were any bigger it was hard to navigate the space. Tamara also told me it was a "boutique" vrbo - which means it had shampoo and a hair dryer. A bit of a stretch.

Just about perfect
We got off to a bit of a rough start, the property manager and I. I’m admittedly a little less organized and there were a lot of forms to complete for the booking, some that had a tech issue. That said, all is well that ends well! We enjoyed our stay.
The good:
- The property is well situation near the Hammersmith City and Circle Tube lines, as well as the Shepherd’s Bush Overground Rail. Basically, you can get pretty much get anywhere from there.
- It was spotlessly clean!
- The decor is minimalist, fresh and bright, with nice light.
- The directions and resources for the stay were super thorough — all you needed to navigate the property and your stay.
- The beds and bedding were very comfortable.
- Decent shower pressure and nice toiletries.
The less good:
- Mobility: Just something to think about if you are older or less mobile:
- Flat is up 1.5 flights of stairs
- The bathtub is elevated (as many are in the UK) so you have to be nimble enough to climb up and in.
- The “Master” bedroom is down a steep, 4 step open staircase. Almost ladder like.
- Cooking: It is not really equipped to cook dinner. Breakfast and lunch, yes, but actual dinner no. There is one baking pan, no baking sheets, 1 plastic storage container, etc. Definitely not fully equipped for a cook. However, there are tea bags, a great Nespresso espresso machine (with pods) and a few spices.
- As a 'hang out": If you plan to hang out in the flat (we did not), there is limited comfortable seating. The couch fits two semi-comfortably, and while there is a window seat with cushions, it is not padded and doesn’t make up for the lack of a real easy chair. The dining chairs are Ikea folding chairs — good for 20-30 min max, even with cushions.
- Cost: The flat description says “Accommodates 4.” However, please note that if you book for more than 2, you will be assessed a surcharge for “extra guests.” I have not seen this before. Usually if it says “Accommodates 2 or 4 or 6, that number is included in the base price.”

Dear Elisabeth, Why oh Why did you book a 1st floor flat with stairs inside to the bedroom - details of which are painfully obvious from flat pictures and description, if you have mobility issues? Why did you book the flat if the price did not suit you? Why was it a surprise? You put number of guests and the price adjusts accordingly before you book. You insinuate that you were hit with hidden charges, which is spreading false information about our flat. I am also not sure what you mean by rough start? I have been incredibly patient and polite from start to finish and this booking was nothing if not challenging. From booking to arrival you have inundated me with queries about details, which were all already in the listing. I nevertheless patiently responded to them all. VRBO had to chase you 5 times for payment. Then I had to re-send 3x a simple guest verification form. You kept giving me wrong arrival times changing them again and again, so it was really difficult to schedule cleaner and laundry. Then you spread falsehoods that my sofa is so small 2 people can't fit on it. The sofa is 2.4m long and 100cm deep. That is a 3.5 seater. Again, why did you book my flat if nothing suited you? Our little kitchen is equipped with a full set of pots and pans, 3 sizes of plates, utensils and everything you need to cook a meal. If you want a flat with a massive kitchen equipped like Gordon Ramsay's kitchen, then book a larger flat. There is only that much we can fit in a galley kitchen which is on the pictures. Please every host a favour and next time you wish to book any flat, do read the listing and look at all pictures before you book, so you don't leave unfair reviews like that and spread falsehoods about listing and the host. Un endroit agréable
Nous sommes restés dans le logement durant 7 jours. L'arrivée s'est déroulée sans problème avec les instructions précises fournies par Tamara.
Attention toutefois car le code indiqué dans le PDF d'accueil n'est pas le même que celui envoyé par message.
L'appartement est agréable, calme et assez bien équipé pour un séjour de courte durée.
La chambre principale est située en contrebas et il faut descendre quelques marches assez raides pour y accéder, mais cela ne nous a pas gênés.
Le second couchage peut s'avérer un peu étroit mais notre fils de 16 ans a pu s'en accommoder.
Le logement est situé à quelques minutes à pied d'une station de métro. Il faut compter un peu de temps de trajet pour arriver aux principales attractions touristiques mais ce n'est pas excessif.
Petite attention : le panier d'accueil que nous avons bien apprécié.

Apartment looked just as presented in the photos!
The apartment was comfortable and cozy and most importantly very clean. All of the nice touches you hope to find in a vacation retreat were present. Our host Tamara was great in keeping in touch with us during our stay. I enjoyed the neighborhood and the people in town.
The apartment is what is considered the first floor in London ( which is the second floor in the states) but a short flight up.
Rooms are comfy and cozy, with lovely touches. It is a great find!

Gut gelegen und ruhige Seitenstrasse
Die Wohnung ist in der Nähe von zwei Metrostationen gelegen, tolle Verbindungen auch zum Bahnhof Paddington. Busverbindung ist auch sehr gut. Mit 2 Schlafzimmern war die Wohnung für uns (2 Frauen) perfekt. Da wir nur frühstücken und unterwegs waren, ist die Küche ausreichend. Geschäfte mit frischem Obst und Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Querstrasse und war sehr ruhig.

I have lived in She Bu way before it became fashionable. It was fascinating witnessing its transformation and hence when my neigbours moved out to France, I just snapped the flat. It is a lovely, bright and light place with wooden floors throughout. I decorated it in a fresh, uncluttered style reminiscent of urban hotels in Copenhagen and Berlin.
