Great location at the ski hill. Kitchen was well stocked. Nothing fancy but everything was in working order. The hot tub is a shared facility, which was not clear from the listing details. Also no toiletries were provided which was a bit of a surprise. Overall the amenities were adequate and the location was super.
Whitefish did not disappoint. We loved that the condo is ski in and ski out. Clean, lots of extra towels and supplies. Three levels which allowed for private spaces. The hot tub is great, shared amongst the 6 condos but quiet and well kept. Bedrooms were spacious with lots of extra pillows and blankets. We loved the real fireplace, plenty of firewood was available. The only con for us is that we took the train so we didnât have a vehicle so hauling our luggage and food to and from the shuttle spots was more work then anticipated with snow and ice but we made it. We hope to be back next year!
We had a relaxing time at the condo we stayed at. 6 of our family members did not make the trip. The condo we stayed at was nice. It was smaller then I thought it would be. But we all had a great time. We stayed 4 nights. I would definitely recommend it.
Our three generation family group of ten had a wonderful stay. The ski in/out location was great for accessing lifts and coming back to condo. Communication with the owners was clear and prompt, and we appreciated being able to move in to the condo a couple of hours early given flight arrival schedules for some family members. The condo was very well equipped (kitchen/bedrooms/living room), the hot tub right outside the door was great, and everything was clean and totally what we hoped for. We did have a minor problem with the keyless front door, and the owners responded right away to resolve the issue before it was a problem.
The owners are very kind and helpful. The house is great and in a super location - best condo in the building! We were there for a wedding and used the deck for many gatherings. Everything was wonderful, except that there is no central air. 2 of the 4 rooms had portable a/c, but the other 2 did not. The room on the 3rd floor was terribly warm, as it was in the 90's while we were there. However, I would definitely stay here again!
The condo is older but well appointed. Small concerns: management friendly but not super responsive (we had to get new batteries for the smoke alarm ourselves). Real fireplace. Lots of kit but oddly, no tongs ;-)It is ski-in ski-out but you have to know how (trail access at bottom of parking lot). Suggest directions. Overall a great value and we would come again !
Great location, workable for a large group, excellent value
Gathered for 3 days of skiing with large group of sibs and spouses for birthday celebration. Great location that works well for ski in/out - leave your car parked! 4 bdrms and 3 baths with pull-outs can accommodate large group fairly well. However, unit is stacked on 3 levels with no bathroom on the bottom floor where Kitchen, dining and living spaces are. Dining area somewhat small for larger group. Ample parking. Had a great stay!
Overall a wonderful stay. Weâve stayed in this building before but first time in this unit. Lots of comfortable beds, decently stocked kitchen, large hot tub, and super easy ski access. Relatively quiet condo area except for the 3 am snow plowing. Their back-up beeper/alarms are hard to sleep through. I suspect they wake up every house in the immediate area. Never had this issue when weâve stayed in other areas on the mountain. Might be because this condo building is on an intersection.
I would still stay here againâŠitâs not super fancyâŠitâs cozy and just right for a family who likes to ski.
This rental was exactly as depicted in the listing. Beautiful, scenic area with a bustling town within a 15 minute drive. Hikes galore locally, and about one hour to the entrance of Glacier National park.
Prima jaren 80 (gokje) condominium. Locatie is aardig maar beetje ver van Whitefish (10 minuten in de auto) en Glacier (40 minuten met de auto). Bed (matras) in 1 slaapkamer was niet geweldig. Andere waren prima. Keuken, badkamers, woonkamer prima.
We had a great time staying in Whitefish. Close to Glacier and there was so much to do and see we would have loved to stay longer there was so much that we didn't see
We were two families (4 adults, 7 children ages 6-14) staying to visit Glacier National Park for four days. It's a beautiful location with easy access to gas, groceries and restaurants in Whitefish. Unfortunately one of us had a stress fracture and was on crutches, and the two flights of stairs (to bathrooms and bedrooms) made it a challenge, so probably not the best place for someone with mobility challenges. But other than that, kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, the porches were great for views of the mountain, and bedrooms were spacious for our families.
Great property set about 15 min from downtown. Saw many deer on Big Mtn to and from our travels. We even saw a Bear crossing Big Mtn.
We visited Glacier, took a ride up the gondola and enjoyed the pool and hot tub in Ptarmigan Village.
Had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
When our children were small, we wanted to find a peaceful ski resort to teach our young girls how to snow ski. The vacation ski resorts that we had visited prior to our stay in Whitefish were too hectic and overcrowded. We found the perfect serene get-away under the big sky of Whitefish, Montana. To our pleasant surprise, we found that the summers in Whitefish offer an equally delightful vacation destination.
In addition to the great amenities of our spacious yet homey condo (hot tub, fire place, gas grill, outdoor swing and tables, well equipped kitchen, cable and internet service, and a cozy cabin decor), Northwest Montana offers an abundance of activities for outdoor enthusiasts: snow skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, swimming and boating on Whitefish or Flathead lake, Glacier National Park activities, fishing, whitewater rafting, camping, antiquing... just to name a few.
