The cabin was very clean and just right for our family. Location was perfect. 15 to 20 minutes to all our favorite places. Plus we had an added attraction a box turtle resides out front of the cabin.
Me and my family stayed at the cabin for a week in June. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. We had issues with one bedroom tv not working and the hall bathtub not draining properly, but otherwise the place was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I would recommend it to others as well.
The Bear Mountain Lodge was a great place for our family vacation. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. It was also conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay there again.
Our family spent several days in the area and stayed here. The cabin is well kept and updated and was perfectly spaced for 3 family sets and 4 kids. It was the perfect location and nicely stocked for our needs.
We enjoyed our stay at Bear Mountain Lodge cabin. It is in the perfect location for all activities in the area. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of towels. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the deck. I would consider staying here again.
Best location yet. Stayed in 5 cabins before and this one is easy to get in and out of cabin and location makes it a quick drive where ever you wanna go in the area
We had a great time and loved the house! The convenience to everything was wonderful. The privacy, and location was great. It was spacious enough and very clean. The grill was disappointing but probably due to being well used in the past. The pond in the pictures was a little miss leading we felt, but a wonderful place and vacation for us. We would use again.
We had a great time at the Bear Mountain Lodge, we was in town for our daughters wedding. Everything was as descirbed, and very clean. My mom and sisters had rented the Shenandoah House next door which worked out perfect for all of us. We had plenty of room and the location is very quiet and private, it was especially nice that's it's on a deadend road. We had everything we needed at the house. We would defintely recommed this place to anyone and would love to come back in the future.
Cabin was clean and in a great location, directly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had 11 family members and had plenty of space for everyone. This was our first time in the area and we really enjoyed ourselves.
The house was big enough and had plenty of bathrooms. Loved the split level with the pool table. Had a great porch for sitting and enjoying morning coffee!
Kitchen was well stocked. So pans need replacing, but overall good. All the furniture and beds are way too soft. We play board games and the the wood chairs about killed us! Best chairs were on the deck. Trundle had rocks in it. Had a great stay and lots of fun. You are a great host. Very responsive.
House was very conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. House layout was excellent with plenty of space for all 9 of us! Very well stocked kitchen!
We enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our needs. The location was close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We saw three bears walk by the house during our stay. The grandkids thought that was awesome. I would stay at this property again.
We traveled to TN for Christmas this year and had our extended family all meet here (10 total). There was plenty of room for everyone and the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy Christmas. It was nicely decorated and had all the essentials to cook Christmas dinner. Beds were comfortable and the location cannot be beat. It's perfectly situated in the middle between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It's also not situated so high up that you need a four wheel drive vehicle. Great place, thank you!
This cabin was clean and in an excellent location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The large wrap around deck is perfect for enjoying the views. It is also located in a very quiet and peaceful area. A big thanks to the host for communicating with us during the area wide internet outage. We got through it! We plan on being back and highly recommend this location.
Beautiful, private setting. Great and easyaccess to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Clean and comfortable place. Would consider taking another vacation there. Deck secure for smaller children. We saw a black bear go under the upper deck while I was standing there. It surprised me but felt safe and secure as O watched him wander off to other property and then disappear into the woods.
We stayed for 5 days at this lovely cabin. We almost didnât make it to the cabin due to snow on the ground and we drove a multi passenger 2WD van. We had an unexpected snow day which was a treat for the kids (and adults) but had to push back some of our plans due to icy road conditions. We loved everything about the cabin. It had everything we needed. Ben and Leila were very responsive. Weâd love to come back in the summer so we can explore the lake down below and the trails in the area.
We had a little problem upon check-in but the owner was quick to fix it. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils and enjoyed grilling on the gas grill two of the nights we were there. Only potential problem I will point out is that there is no bathroom downstairs where the "kids" room and another bedroom are located. May not be a problem for most but can be a bit cumbersome if you are travelling with toddlers. The location can't be beat - close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle.
Bear Mountain- a feeling of seclusion, yet close to most major activities.
Bear Mountain provided us a great location for all our activities. There were plenty of dishes if you wanted to make your own meals, and if you wanted to eat out, there were many choices within fifteen minutes. The dining room table was spacious.
The family enjoyed the tv's in each bedroom and the excellent WiFi to keep us connected. Our phone signal was weak inside the house.
The beds were of high quality and there were plenty of linens. The provided washer and dryer helped out mid week to refresh our needs.
We did have to learn to plan for extra time, as the mountain roads and stop lights added some time to our trips. Don't plan your activities so much by distance. It will likely take a bit longer than you think, if you are from the Midwest!
It is best to arrive in the daylight. It is a little tricky to find the first time, but our GPS took us right there. We loved having the lockbox. Having a code saved worrying about a key.
Bear Mountain Lodge has it all! Location! Location! Location! Situated right off the parkway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of private and public spaces to meet every family's needs including high-speed internet! Brand new kitchen and stainless steel appliances with all the cooking equipment one would ever need! Where else can you stay close to all the action and yet have magnificent views and relaxing privacy?
