"Cozy in the Smokies" is a 4 bedroom (each with their own bathroom) CABIN in heart of Pigeon Forge, TN. Brought to you by GoGoVacayRentals. It is only a few minutes from The Parkway (1 mile), Dollywood (4 miles), Downtown Gatlinburg (8 miles), the Smoky Mountain National Park & Ober Ski Resort (11 miles). This newly built cabin occupies a prime spot in a wooded setting. Enjoy the calmness from a private hot tub and spacious balconies. Inside, you can spread out between a family recreation/game room and our chimney corner with comfy furnishings. Enjoy ample parking and easy access to the cabin. Cleaning protocols in place. Amenities can vary due to malfunction inconveniences but we try to do our best to keep them as described.
We had a great stay! Check-in was super easy and place was good overall. The drive to the cabin was more hills and sharp turns than we expected but it was no issue at all. Would highly recommend!
Mattresses too hard/frying pan to be able to fry eggs/flat spatula to be able to turn eggs around/4 bread toaster/dinning table chairs need to be upholstered other then that good location near everything would stay there again. Hey we got to see a bear
House was nice and clean. A little smaller than it looked in the pictures. Needs more seating in kitchen area, extended island top with bar stools would be a great addition. Overall I would stay here again.
Overall this property was niceâŠ. When a property sleeps 10 persons it should have ample room for gathering the entire group. The kitchen as far as cookware is def lacking⊠our family likes to cook together and we def could not do that with the cookware providedâŠ. Very disappointing
The cabin is very clean and we enjoyed having our own spaces as an adult family of 6. The location is tricky, especially traveling at night as there are some blind spots that are a tad scary. Game room is fun but need to update family board games and television did not work. Property manager very responsive and maintenance came same day and replaced it.
First and foremost I want to say the cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean and very spacious. We loved the location and how close to everything it was. As far as the road to get there we did have a little bit of a time with a truck /trailer hauling a show car but that was my fault for not doing more research. If you are there for a vacation or getaway the roads would not been difficult. This cabin was a wonderful place for anyone looking to b close to everything in Pigeon Forge and yet feel secluded.
The house was wonderful. We had a group of 13 family members and there was plenty of room. The game was great for the 3 children we had. This was a great place to stay.
Upon arrival at the cabin we had difficulty gaining access. We followed the instructions provided to us prior to our arrival but the code did not work. My elderly mother needed to get inside of the house to use the restroom. It was frustrating that we could not get inside. I requested twice that the owner call but she continued to text. This may be because she was unable to speak at that moment so I called Vrbo Customer Service. Iâm not certain if the owner or if Vrbo Customer Service dispatched someone. Within a short period of time from my call a gentleman from property maintenance arrived, He was very polite and changed the battery to the door key pad. We also received an email from the owner apologizing for the inconvenience.
Beyond that very small hiccup there werenât any other issues during our stay. The property is EXACTLY as advertised. It is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and immaculate! It allowed ample space for 3 generations of adults to enjoy family time together but yet have solitude and privacy. We really liked that the cabin had a secluded feel because of its location at the end of the road. Itâs also near dining, entertainment and shopping. We canât wait to come back again!!! My brother is already planning our next trip.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Good, but not great
This home's location is ideally suited for families who want to be close to Dollywood. It is in a very hilly community of rental properties that is reasonably well maintained. We intentionally searched for and selected a home that had a gas grill (first priority), and the hot tub was the next priority. When we arrived, the gas grill had been removed (cover and propane tank remained), and a well-used charcoal grill had been left outside for use. When the rental company was asked about the switch, it was explained that the "gas grill was a fire hazard." No apology for the bait-and-switch, just a statement that a charcoal grill was left outside and should not be moved. With two small children traveling with our family and full days already planned, the prep and use of a charcoal grill had not been considered. The hot tub was onsite and sits directly outside of the lower bedroom, which has bunk beds, where children are most likely sleeping. We chose not to use the hot tub due to the noise from the jets and the conversation that would be outside the door of sleeping toddlers. Sometimes, it is the little things that are missed (like one regular size sized ice-tray left for use for a house that can accommodate 10-12 people- we had 4 adults and had to fill it twice a day; or the nail head on the bottom stair that is exposed and tears socks), and sometimes it's the big thing- like poor communication about an amenity change that prevents return visit. For us, it will be both.
The house provided plenty of room for our 11 person party. The bedrooms and bathrooms had ample space and the beds where very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the game room and spent most of their time down there. Check in and check out was superbeasy and communication was excellent. We were fairly close to everything we wanted to do, which made it nice.
On the other hand, the living area on the main floor was smaller than anticipated. And there are A LOT of steps. My dad had a hard time with all the stairs inside. It also does not have a view. We were hoping to be able to see the mountains but we only could see trees and the other cabins. Also, it was in the listing that there was a propane grill. There was a charcoal grill, but no propane grill. We didn't use the grill while we were there so it didn't end up being an issue.
Overall, the cabin was great. We had our family time, the kids had a blast and we enjoyed ourselves. We did also get a visit from a sweet bear cub on our last day.
The cabin itself was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. However, I don't think I would advertise the property for 12-13 guests. There was no place for our family to gather comfortably. No chairs except on the decks and a few around the dining table. Main floor was very cramped. Only a love seat in the living room area. My 97 yr old mother was with us and there were lots of stairs both inside and outside the cabin. As I said, the cabin itself was nice, but not designed for a family gathering. I'd say for no more than 8-10 people, that's including the sofa bed downstairs. Honestly, I blame myself for not researching the property more thoroughly, but it was impossible for all of us to be together at once. Had to eat in shifts.
I thoroughly enjoyed this stay! I give our stay 5 stars across the board! It was incredibly clean, and I am a germ-a-phob for sure! There are only two complaints I have and one is my own fault! I didnât really think about a two story cabin having two sets of interior stairs and with a 1.5 year old was a little tricky. Not a bad thing, just food for thought for other families!
The other issue is that the TVs are a little tricky to use. We were unable to work the ârec roomâ tv and one of the upstairs tvs. Donât know if itâs operator error or a tv issue.
Overall, we would totally book again! Loved it!
We had a great family vacation with ages ranging from 1 to 82! The cabin was perfect for us! My husband and I and our two boys (3.5) and (1.5) loved the downstairs bedroom with the bunk beds and game room! Both sets of parents and my grandmother enjoyed the other 3 rooms! It was great that everyone had their own bathroom attached to their bedroom! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials! The game room and hot tub were a hit with everyone! The proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was perfect for little ones! We had a great time!
This house was perfect for our group. Everyone had their own bedroom and private bathroom. We enjoyed relaxing on the different balconies, sitting in the hot tub, playing games on the lower level, making dinner in the kitchen, and eating together at the large table. The location was great- very private and just minutes to everything in Pigeon Forge!!
Great cabin for our family trip. Location was convenient to activities, but very private. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The main floor living area is small, but it accommodated our group.

Cozy in the Smokies was a delightful cabin that provided the closeness to everything and yet was so quiet and felt secluded. This was a great stay for my large family and parents. Rooms are large with their own bathrooms. Very clean cabin with all the amenities a family needs. This cabin is absolutely what I expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot- book it!
The location of this property is very close to Pigeon Forge. Itâs in a group of rentals, but slightly isolated so there isnât traffic or someone right next door. Itâs easy to get into the main attractions of Pigeon Forge.
The layout of bedrooms is nice. We had three family units so every family had their own floor for nighttime. The master bedroom on the main floor could really use a new mattress
As far as the description online, itâs hard to list the size of each room. The family area is in the lower level. There just isnât much room on the main floor. The TV in the lower bedroom is not hooked up. There is very little to no cupboard space in the kitchen so many groceries sit out on countertops. I would add a few hooks in the bathrooms as there are no towel holders.
The pool was not especially clean and completely closed one day. We did find a hidden gem at the community center. Although there is a small entry fee, that pool is very nice. It has two water slides, a large splash area, floats to try to get across, and a large shallow area for young children. We wish we would have found this pool earlier in our trip.
Communication with the property manager was great. Thanks for everything.
My family had a wonderful time during our stay at the cabin. The location was great and only a few minutes from most of the places we wanted to visit. Communication from the owner was excellent.
Cabin was clean and ready for our family. The upstairs living room was small and we could not get the tv to work in one of the bedrooms. Overall it met our needs and we had great trip.
Loved this gorgeous SUPER CLEAN cabin! We had a terrible experience at a different cabin and had to find another one at the last minute. Weâre so glad we found this one! Absolutely gorgeous, perfect for what we needed, and so clean! Would definitely stay here again.
We love to travel around the world. We love to learn about different cultures and cities. We are very organized when it comes to travel and usually have a preplanned schedule so we can see it all. Location is always very important for us when staying in a new destination. We like to be close to the areas of interests but also enjoy having our privacy.
This property is very well located and allowed us to enjoy the serenity of the mountains while being very close to the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We love the mountains and all they have to offer but also enjoy spending time with family while learning and caring for our environment.
The cabin sleeps up to 12 guests between the four bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. Each bedroom also boasts its own 40â wall-mounted TV. On the main level, the primary bedroom offers an inviting king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Tucked away on the basement level, a second bedroom has one queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. On the second floor, a third bedroom comes with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination as well as fourth bedroom that comes with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
