We booked the Zen Tiny House for our 1 year wedding anniversary trip to Charleston. We loved staying here! It is only about a 10 minute drive to Charleston and in a lovely neighborhood. There were plenty of wonderful restaurants close by if you didnât feel like traveling to the city. The tiny home itself is absolutely adorable. It was well stocked with essentials and had plenty of items in case you forgot something. We had never stayed in a tiny home before, but we now have high expectations for future trips! Cristina was very responsive and answered any questions you had regarding the tiny home and local places to stop at. She had directions on how to take a bike ride to Sullivans Island, and different literature for sights to see/places to eat. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Zen Tiny House, and will plan to stay there on our next trip to Mount Pleasant!
Goods as advertised.
In the middle of all sorts of dining and shopping. A quick trip over the bridge and you're in downtown Charleston. The host was friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for the beach and 4th of july. Would definitely stay again next time we are in town.
I was looking for a place for my mom and I to stay with a hot tub near the beach. The listing included a hot tub, but we was very disappointed when we got there when there was not one. the owner apologized and took off the hot tub off the listing. The couch is very uncomfortable.. I would not recommend for older people. I would not rely on the bicycles. They do need repairs and the chains were rusty.
Amazing stay great experience only have two things better water pressure and a better shower head other then that amazing stay great host and amazing property would recommend
Quaint tiny home in a very convenient location! it was perfect for our vacation, the tiny house is very close to the beach and Charleston, so we had plenty of options for things to do! We also appreciated the suggestions for things to do in the guest guide for the tiny house. We had a great time!
Not only was the property cute, but it was the cleanest one I have ever stayed in by far. It was easy to get to and from Charleston and the beach. We LOVED the beach! Her communication was great.
This was above and beyond to me. There was a binder with the ownerâs favorite places for entertainment, drinks, eats, and sightseeing, etc., which I thought was so cool. HER favorite places, not just books with places to visit for us to figure it out on our own.
I did feel bad coming in late because the owner has dogs and they would bark when they saw us.
But overall, when we come back to visit I will be checking availability of this property first.
I rented this property because it was convenient to all the venues related to a Family wedding. My only recommendation to future renters is be sure you are ready for the ladder up to the bed. The property was clean which is important to me. It has everything you need for a short visit or vacation since it it very close to the beaches of Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms and also downtown Charleston.
We never fell from the balcony and managed to negotiate the ladder even at our chronologically challenged ages. What a sweet little Zen nest. Christina was wonderfully communicative and the setup of the house was thoughtfully arranged. Amenities were ample and the karma was absolutely delightful.
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here so much and the host Cristina is absolutely wonderful! If youâre looking for a place in Mt Pleasant and are interested in experiencing a tiny house, you wonât be disappointed in this place! Itâs extremely well done, in a beautiful neighborhood and a central location. You can easily get to Daniel Island for a concert or Sullivans Island/Isle of Palms for a quiet beach day or exploring Ft. Sumter & Ft. Moultrie. You can also easily access Charleston via either bridge. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!
I'm a native Charlestonian and have lived in Mount Pleasant for the majority of my life. I love basically anything that has to do with the ocean and ocean sports.I know a lot about Charleston and the surrounding areas from the best places to eat to finding a hassel-free parking spot downtown. Just hit me up during your stay for suggestions.
The Zen Tiny House is located in the highly-coveted Old Village/Old Mount Pleasant neighborhood. This is the oldest neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant where houses date back to the 1700s. This is a great area to ride the free bikes around and check out the historic houses, explore quaint shops, have lunch at the Post House restaurant, stop off for a glass of wine at the OV Wine Bar, or grab a milk shake at Pitt Street Pharmacy with its old-timey Soda Fountain counter..
The Zen Tiny House is centrally located between the beaches and downtown Charleston. And don't let the square footage scare you, the tiny house is quite roomy and has everything you need considering it's just under 300 square feet. Guests can enjoy the free use of cruiser bikes to ride the neighborhood or to the beach. It's also fun to ride over the Ravenel Bridge to downtown Charleston. Its location is an easy walk to several nice restaurants/bars just a few blocks away. There are two grocery stores less than half a mile away, Whole Foods is about three miles away, and there is a great place to get a facial or massage just down the street. Also, If you need to do laundry, I have a washer/dryer that will be available to you if requested. There is a very friendly standard poodle, Stella, that can be briefly in the yard sometimes. If she sees you she will bark, she is a lover not a fighter, so don't let her scare you. However, if you are afraid of dogs, please let me know. I will make sure that she doesn't go outside in the backyard without me with her when you are there.
