Explorez Seward, Cooper Landing et la péninsule de Kenai depuis un emplacement central.

3 hectares de vie privée avec vue panoramique. Pas situé sur la Seward Highway, il n'y a donc pas de bruit dérangeant de la circulation en été!

La maison dispose d'un lit king size au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, avec sa propre entrĂ©e et pas d'escalier. Il y a une laveuse / sĂ©cheuse gratuite au mĂȘme niveau. Il y a des escaliers Ă  l'intĂ©rieur pour accĂ©der au niveau de la cuisine.

Le deuxiÚme niveau comprend une cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec un bar de petit-déjeuner, une table à manger, une salle de bains complÚte et un salon. Il y a une table en plein air sur une terrasse, avec une vue spectaculaire sur les montagnes.

La chambre loft dispose d'un lit queen size et est accessible par un escalier échelle de style. La base est trÚs sécurisée et il y a une main courante, mais elle est raide et déconseillée aux jeunes enfants ou si vous avez des problÚmes d'accessibilité.

Votre sĂ©jour comprend (sans y ĂȘtre limitĂ©), apĂ©ritif de bienvenue, cafĂ©, thĂ©s, chocolat chaud, condiments, produits de base pour la pĂątisserie, sel, poivre et Ă©pices. Literie, serviettes, savon Ă  vaisselle, savon pour les mains, shampoing, revitalisant, savon pour le corps et papier de soie. Laveuse / sĂ©cheuse avec dĂ©tergent, barbecue au propane, jardin extĂ©rieur avec salade verte, petits pois, baies et autres lĂ©gumes. L'eau potable provient d'un puits privĂ© profond situĂ© sur la propriĂ©tĂ© et est de grande qualitĂ©.

Lovely little cabin, midway between Anchorage and Seward. This was a great location for us and the cabin was so quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the lovely view out the window while sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in process was smooth and the host communicated well and was available if we needed anything.

Kenai Peninsula Gem

In researching places to stay while visiting the Kenai Fjords National Park, this house checked all the boxes, but our stay her completely exceeded our expectations. Matt was so accommodating and gave us great recommendations and shared some delicious food with us. The house was small, but spacious and had everything we needed and then some.The views from each window were great and so beautiful. I honestly wish I could stay longer! We will be back at some point to explore more of the area!

Quiet. Watch mountain goats from windows and deck. Very retreat like feeling. Great central location for exploring Kenai Peninsula. Kitchen good and well stocked. Friendly hosts met us both ends of stay.

Great property- located near main roads but far enough away that you feel as though you are in your own private oasis. Owners are super and offeredsuggestions on where to hike. The smoked salmon welcome plate was delicious!

Great place to stay

The house was very cute with lots of privacy. The owners communicated very well with us, and even left us some smoked salmon and crackers. The washer was broken but they offered to pay for us to go to the laundromat. Overall just great people and great place. Would recommend.

Stunning!

Our family of four had a relaxing week at this wonderful mountain retreat. The views were stunning! Matt and Lana are exceptional hosts and we loved seeing the pictures on the walls from all of their amazing world travels. We did some fishing in the Russian River and also on the ocean out of Seward. Wonderful family memories - very highly recommend!!!!

Simply Amazing Home Away from Home

We came here for our Honeymoon and it was the perfect home away from home. Everything we could have ever needed was available to us and if we needed anything further the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Our trip went without a hitch. There’s nothing we would have changed about our stay. It was the perfect location, day trips to each place we went too with lots of hiking nearby as well. Everything was clean, operated well and the bed was so so comfortable!!!

Beautifully Located

This was the last leg of our trip. This is an ideal location that puts you close to a number of destinations. Whether a quick trip to Cooper Landing or the highway to Seward you’ll find peace and tranquility at this place. We’ve had a wonderful stay and it more than accommodated our family of 4 adults. Hosts were not only responsive, but incredibly polite and helpful as we ventured through the area. We were even welcomed with a plate of delicious homemade smoked salmon, cheese, and crackers. You will not regret your choice to stay here.

Clean home, beautiful surroundings

We had a very nice stay at this VRBO and would reccommend it to anyone staying in the Seward area. Clean home and they even had the house stocked with things a person forgets about such as bear spray, bug spray, water bottles, sandals, books to read, etc. etc. The home was stocked and they even had a little welcome tray of salmon and cheese and crackers all ready for us when we arrived.

Mathew is a wonderful host with an awesome home.

We enjoyed our stay in this well stocked home. Mathew has travelled the world and has his kitchen stocked with delicious spices, walls decorated from his travels, and a view that you never want to depart. This home is close to many hiking trails, fishing and rafting charters, and a quick drive to Seward. The house is perfect for a couple, would be extra cozy for 2 couples, but doable. Personally, i prefer a firmer mattress, but this would not stop me from returning to stay at this great location! Thanks a million Mathew for your hospitality!

My first trip to Alaska was in 1996. I came for the month of July and was completely captivated by the magic of the midnight sun. I hiked to waterfalls, trekked across glaciers, watched whales breach, camped in bear country, and caught my first halibut and salmon. I was hooked immediately — pun fully intended.

That trip sparked a lifelong love for Alaska and for travel. Since then, I’ve explored over 60 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, guesthouses, hostels, homestays, and B&Bs. Along the way, I learned what truly makes a stay memorable, so that it feels like home, not just a room.

Moose Pass is perfectly positioned to be your basecamp for the entire Kenai Peninsula, just 90 minutes south of Anchorage. Instead of packing and unpacking every few days, you can settle in, relax and explore in every direction from one comfortable home base.

Right here in Moose Pass, you’ll find endless hiking trails, pristine alpine lakes perfect for canoeing or kayaking and floatplanes offering unforgettable flightseeing adventures. One of my favorite simple pleasures? Packing a picnic and heading to the beach at Trail River Campground on Kenai Lake. It’s hard to beat.

Just 15 miles away, Cooper Landing offers world-class adventure. Hiking, rafting, kayaking, bear viewing, and legendary salmon and trout fishing on the Russian and Kenai Rivers.

Drive 34 miles south to Seward and you’ll reach Kenai Fjords National Park, where boat tours take you past towering tidewater glaciers and abundant wildlife. Humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, and sea otters. You can also fish for halibut and salmon, visit the Alaska SeaLife Center, or hike to Exit Glacier and the Harding Icefield for truly breathtaking views.

Historic Hope (39 miles away) offers stunning waterfront views and access to the thrilling Class V rapids of Sixmile Creek. When I purchased this property in 2008, it had great bones and a lot of unfinished potential. Over the years, I’ve thoughtfully transformed it from the ground up. By 2025, the interior was redesigned and modernized for comfort, functionality, and unique character. The result is a space that feels warm, intentional and far more personal than a typical rental.

We’ve been hosting for 10 years, and after traveling to nearly 70 countries over the past two decades, we’ve developed a clear understanding of what truly makes a stay exceptional. We’ve experienced everything from up scale hotels to remote guesthouses and we’ve brought the best elements of those stays into this home.

Cleanliness is non-negotiable for us. We personally handle all cleaning between guests to ensure every stay meets our standards, which are high. Our goal is that the home feels not just clean, but impeccably cared for.

As a former chef, the kitchen is something I take particular pride in. You’ll find one of the most equipped and well-stocked kitchens in Alaska, designed for people who genuinely enjoy cooking, not just reheating.
