We regret, however, that some aspects of your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the kitchen supplies, we would like to clarify that, although some hosts choose to leave items such as oil, vinegar, or other condiments, local regulations do not allow us to provide opened food products. In addition, for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not leave consumables that may have been previously used by other guests. Your comments concerning the towel bars, kitchen equipment, and the odor you mentioned have been noted and will be reviewed carefully, as they help us improve our service. your review is unfair and contains false statements that must be clarified. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, prepared exactly as you requested. You arrived at 5:15 PM, turned on the A/C, and after only 10 minutes claimed it wasn’t working. The system was fully functional: the temperature dropped from 29°C to 26°C in one hour, which is perfectly normal for a centralized ducted unit. At 7:30 PM, Friday evening, you called customer service. We explained that no technician was available until the following morning at 8:30 AM. Meanwhile, to avoid any inconvenience, we offered you an alternative accommodation with full refund—entirely at our expense. You accepted. It is therefore false to state that you had to find accommodation at your own expense. The next morning, with a technician, we confirmed the system was working perfectly. That evening in Padua it had rained, outside temperature was 22°C, so even opening the windows would have cooled the apartment. Your comment on the location is equally misleading: the property is in one of the best pedestrian streets of the historic center, with shops, restaurants, and museums. Cars do not circulate at all, not “after 8 PM,” and emergency vehicles have unrestricted access. Communication was constant, as WhatsApp logs prove. You also mentioned mold that never existed and was never reported during your 2-hour stay. In conclusion: you never actually stayed, you received a full refund, and your review is not only misleading but entirely false

dear guest, we are sorry to read the review and we would like to give you some details for clarity of information that I believe are important: first thing to say is that the cleaning service was badly done! as we have explained to you, we assign to an external professional cleaning company the service because many precautions are necessary due to the covid: sanitized linen, periodic sanification of the rooms, specific detergents etc. These things can only be offered by expert companies and for this reason we have tried to provide our guests the best we can to guarantee their health. However, what we would not have expected happened, bad service and there is no excuse (and we don't look for any). We have filed an official complaint with the cleaning company that realize the service, asked for (and obtained) the change of the persons who performed the bad job. In 5 years that we rent this situation has never happened. However, you reported facts that were different from reality: the day after your report the cleaning company came back and did the job again in a workmanlike manner and not as you write badly redone. We can only imagine that this review is a small revenge due to our refusal to give you a major discount on the rent, which you forgot to mention, but ours is an hypothesis, we hope to be wrong! Most of the other things you write do not correspond to the truth: what you saw above the fridge (did you even go to see above the fridge, maybe you took apart the cabinets?) is not the fire alarm, but the carbon monoxide detector, that must be placed there! When you talk about apartment maintenance you don't even know what you are talking about: the apartment is regularly checked by a plumber and electrician, of course it may be that everything is not perfect, it happens, but writing that maintenance is not done is a false thing. The whole apartment was renovated 5 years ago, hundreds of thousands of euros were spent, how can you write such a falsehood? I believe that more than our response, the reviews of the dozens of guests who come to visit us every year that you can see both here and on other sites for renting houses, the best known, speak for themselves, and they are testimony to what we say. This experience, which was not positive for us too, has allowed us to improve further by demanding an even more precise service from our suppliers. However, we thank you for your review, always having the best reviews does not help to grow.
