We had a wonderful weekend away with friends. The property was just as described and very clean. The view on the lake is peaceful and calming. Meghan was great to communicate with. Would love to come back for another stay!
Beautiful home, lovely hosts, fun family weekend!
This is the perfect location for a long family weekend! Our family is split between Pittsburgh and Lewisburg (central PA). Treasure Lake is a 2 hour drive for everyone, so the perfect place to meet in the middle. We weren’t sure what the rental world looked like in this area of the state, so we were pleasantly surprised when we found this home! This home is also located a short 40 minutes from the Elk visitor center (and the drive is super easy and worth it!). The home is lovely - wayyyy bigger than it appears. The view of the lake is fantastic, the dock is updated and very sturdy, the fire pit area is a great size, and the homeowners have thought of EVERYTHING! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. There is also a blender, crock pot, or ironing board/iron, coffee maker, and toaster. The home is very clean and the furniture (inside and out) makes it easy for a large group to just relax. Finally, the homeowners hit a home run when it comes to providing fun activities for everyone - there are multiple kayaks, a paddle boat, ping pong, and games. We all agreed we needed more time to fit in all the fun things that are made available! We will be back!
Great Time Had By All!
Had a wonderful time with Grandparents, children and grandchildren! Something for everyone to do! House was spacious and very clean! Had fun fishing, kayaking and swimming in the lake! S’mores by the campfire! It could not have been better! Thank you Meghan!
We had a family reunion here and loved it. We could boat across to the beach and the kids swam and played in the sand and at the playground there. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. There’s a wonderful sandbox, ping pong, and fusball, for the kids. All 10 of us were able to fit around the indoor table and also the outdoor tables!
Couple tips- if many adults come, bring a couple PFDs as there are only 4 adult ones and 2 of those are extra small. Definitely bring a couple blankets and dish towels. We found the Goodwill and found what we needed for cheap. If you are readers, you might want to bring along a reading lamp. There are no books at all here and only a couple games. But mostly, the fun is in the paddle boat and kayaks, swimming and playing outside! We took one side trip to Belger’s Rocks, which the kids loved climbing on and over. All in all, a great week.
