This is a beautiful home! The pictures did not do this house justice. Not only is this home beautiful, it is also comfortable and very kid friendly. There are toys, games, a wooden swing, and a great play house that the children loved. It had a fully stocked kitchen and enough towels for 10 people. Everything was labled in the kitchen. This was a nice touch. It took the guess work out of where things went. Even though the lake was being dredged the view was still calming. The amount of wildlife that was around the property was a plus. Everyone in our party had a great time! One of the best vacation rentals ever!
This is a beautiful home!!! We enjoyed our stay!!! Loved seeing the wildlife walking and staying in the yard!!! Enjoyed every minute and hope to be back again soon!!!
The house was very nice. The location was absolutely awesome..loved seekng the deer in the yard. First time here, we will definitely try to come back again..
We had a great time. My husband and I loved kayaking every morning and my grandchildren loved fishing, going to the beach, watching the deer in the yard and dinners all together either on the deck or around the fire pit. We had a great time.
We loved our stay at this cabin! It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The lake access was so convenient with the dock, kayaks, canoe, and life jackets right there. The gated neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The yard felt private with the large trees on the property. There was so much wildlife around that our daughter said she expected them to come help with chores like a Disney movie. Deer, rabbits, a fox, ducks, etcâŠ
We highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing time with family or friends.
Beautiful house & property right on Treasure Lake! We really enjoyed it & loved the area for all the water sports as well as bicycling. Very good communication with both owner & property manager. Could not have asked for more. Thank you!
We aged from 1 to 83 and all had a good time.
The home was well stocked in the kitchen and otherwise.
Caught many pan fish right off the dock, which was great for the grand kids.
We all enjoyed this beautiful home. Plenty of room for all. My husband and I liked the master bedroom where more quiet. Lots to do, the yard was great for outdoor games. Erica was nice to work with. Overall a great experience!
This is our third year in a row staying at this house. We absolutely love the house area, lake, scenery. The amenities were perfect for entire family. We grew closer and thanked God for the many blessings of our family. đ Thank you!!
Our family vacation here was wonderful! The house provides everything you need and the canoe and kayaks are a real plus. Our guys fished every day and all of the wild life you see is breathtaking. If you need anything there are many stores near by. This is probably the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long time. Thank you Erica and Jason for letting us experience your beautiful home!
Absolutely terrific get-away. The most relaxing vacation I may have ever had!
Everything in this property was well maintained and WORKED! If you've done rentals like this before, you know how rare this is, but everything here was great. Lots of fishing, kayaking, and just sitting out on the deck and enjoying the perfect weather we had.
This was the best rental experience I've ever had!
If you're looking for a place that has everything you need for a week of fun at the lake without needing to go anywhere, this is it. The place is top notch and there are so many extras like cornhole, floats, kayaks, kids toys, etc. it's tough to beat. The cove is pretty quiet, too, so no boats speeding past while you're playing in the water. The only slight drawback is that the bottom of the lake is pretty mucky once you get out about 3' deep -- wear your water shoes or just hop on your float or in your kayak before you get out that far. Community pool is a short, easy bike ride away if you prefer.
This lakefront home has windows to the ceiling offering a spectacular view out onto Treasure Lake. We were there in February so loved the indoor fireplace, watching the fire, looking out onto the frozen lake. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped including an electric kettle (great for tea drinkers!), a Keurig, a slow cooker and more. Although you are in a neighborhood, the homes are spaced far apart with lots of vegetation between them so you have a good feeling of privacy. We had a great time on our winter getaway weekend. I imagine in the summer this house would be great for spending a week swimming off the dock, kayaking, cooking out. Highly recommend.
Our family of 10 (grandparents, parents, grandkids) had a wonderful 6 night stay at this lovely lakeside home. You will have everything you need here, from a well stocked kitchen to four comfortable bedrooms plus extra sleep space in the downstairs living room. The view from the deck is spectacular and the canoe and kayaks make the lake easy to enjoy! You will love the quiet! We enjoyed daily visits from local deer and also filled the feeder off the deck with birdseed and enjoyed many feathered visitors as well. Treasure Lake is close to Dubois so restaurants and shopping were very convenient. We also visited Puxsutawney and took a ride to see the elk. Much information is contained in Erica's information binder and many brochures.
Erica was quick to respond to any questions we had and this was appreciated. We thank her for sharing her lovely home!
The house was nice. Basically and A frame with a big bedroom upstairs and more below. Some of the houses on treasure lake hide the fact that they are across the street from the lake and have "lake access" if you go across the street. This is not one of those - it is right on the lake down the lawn. Kayaks on the property were nice. IF I had one recommendation for the owner it would be to replace the 1st floor toilet with a better one as this one is not the greatest. Very minor thing and it did not affect our stay. It would be really great if they eventually put a hot tub on the patio too but that's a bit much to ask. Still a wonderful place and we enjoyed it. Rent this one for days paddling on the lake and enjoy.
We greatly enjoyed our stay and would đŻ stay again!
It was my 67 year old dad, my sister and I, and both our kids (11 & 14).
The location on the lake was in a quiet cove, with clear/clean water, and great fishing. The house had everything you needed. The kayaks and canoes were great.
The home could use a thorough deep clean in the cracks and crevices, but was overall clean.
This is our 3rd year at Treasure Lake and the Property Owners Association has continued to add more and more rules for non-property owners. This is no fault of the home owners, but you should know before booking you can no longer use the pool(s) and one of the beaches (Bimini) also asked for membership cards. Dubois pool is not far away tho!! If you are looking for a place to STAY put for a few days and enjoy lake life, this is your place!!
Lots of room!! The three levels was amazing!!
Lots of wildlife to enjoy!
This was our first time renting a cabin (house) and we are so glad that we choose this one!! We wanted a log cabin with a water view, that allowed pets and this place did not disappoint! I knew from the pictures and the reviews that this was the place for us. We went for a long weekend in January to getaway, relax and to spend quality time together as a family; away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had 6 adults, 1 teenager and two dogs and there was more than enough room to spread out and enjoy some quiet time as well as being together to reconnect. The cabin had everything that you could want or need from the linens, blankets, wifi, tv's, games, laundry facilities, to the wonderfully stocked kitchen. The stone fireplace was absolutely wonderful!! We didn't get to enjoy the lake as it was frozen over and the ground was covered in snow...this just means another visit in the warmer months!!! Erica was wonderful to work with. She called on the day of our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and that it was to our liking. If I had any questions she was easily reached through a text message or phone call. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time and can't wait to make a return trip!
We definitely enjoyed our stay here even though we spent a good bit of time out and about looking for elk. It is very comfortable and well furnished. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. Outdoor area is also lovely, but unfortunately it rained a good part of our stay so when we were around we had to spend our time inside. There is games, puzzles, toys for kids, outdoor playhouse, swing. Very nice deck with views of the lake.
While i hate to say anything negative about such a lovely place, there was a few things that we discovered during our stay that were less than ideal and the owners should be aware of. 1) the drip coffee maker was very grimy inside, assuming from hard water, so we had to use the Keurig. 2) Air fryer was very greasy inside and had remains of food in it. We didnt use it. 3) 1st time we went to use the bathtub there was hair and grime in it. Gave it a good rinse before i bathed my daughter. 4) For as much i hate to say it, there was zero communication from the host. Never got a response to some questions i had asked prior to arriving. No welcome message. No "thank you for staying" on check out. Not that this is a must but in all my other short term rental vacation stays we received something of the sort. Makes you feel appreciated as a guest.
NOT trying to discourage anyone from staying here. You will enjoy it. Just sharing our experience. It was lovely and we enjoyed it.
Thnx 4 letting us stay!

We heard about Treasure Lake from a friend and drove over from State College just to check it out. While driving around the lake we saw this home and immediately fell in love with it. The details in this home are incredible as are the view of the lake. This house is perfect for a family gathering or romantic getaway.
The view of the lake from the porch is stunning. The master suite is on the 2nd floor and when you walk out of the room to head down the stairs you can't help but hesitate to take in the beauty of the viewâŠit's absolutely breathtaking! Everything is modern including granite counter tops, a brand new Keurig, crockpot, griddle, kayaks and canoes, etc which will all be available for your use!
One of the major highlights of the property is our lakefront fire pit, which is large enough for up to 12 people!
