It is a very nice property in a quiet neighborhood and would definitely stay again. It is nicely remodeled, with all the amenities you could ever need.
Cute cottage, close to park, nice walk to downtown
Very comfortable two bedroom cottage plus a nicely finished basement with a pull-out bed. Nice neighborhood and an easy walk to restaurants and wine tasting rooms downtown.
The house is close to town and wine country. We enjoyed the public pool that's only a mile away. Property is well-appointed and spotless though the washer was a bit slow.
The house was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities of home. It was located close to downtown in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed are time there.
We met up with some friends in Walla Walla for a winery event and this was a lovely place to stay! The house was well stocked with amenities, clean, and is quite charming. We were comfortable and enjoyed a place to come back and rest. We would absolutely stay here again!
The house is adorable and very clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Its perfect for families or a couple. The downside is that the bedrooms have a connecting door so there isn't any sound barrier. But it worked well for our needs.
We loved our stay at the Locus Street getaway. Short walk to downtown Walla Walla. Lovely park nearby. Comfortable home with all that we needed. We could not have asked for more.
This was our second stay at the Locust Street Cottage and it was just as amazing as the first time. The cottage is very comfortable, clean, and is filled with natural light and artistic touches. It has a very well-stocked kitchen so you can enjoy meals in the airy dining room. Beds are very comfortable, the location is quiet and peaceful. You won't be disappointed!
Cozy, clean, comfy beds & very accessible- so easy to just relax after tough day wine tasting.
Umm, the TV confused us - 4 remotes, One TV - challenging, but we were not really there for TV anyway. Thanks to the hosts, we loved it!
We loved the house. It fit our needs great. It was nice to relax on the porch with our morning tea. When I forgot my pillow they communicated quickly to get it back to me.
Lovely house-really greatly equipped for all things-just didnât know about the non-existent back yard until we arrived there. There are 2 buildings in the back that arenât shown in pics-not very inviting to go back and hang out. Neighbors dogs also donât like people-they barked if you went out there. Otherwise really great-charming and quaint old Walla Walla home.
There were 3 of us staying at the house -- 1 couple and one single. It worked out perfectly. Great location. It was perfect for us. Best nights sleep I've had in a long time!
Locust Cottage is a wonderful property! Itâs well equipped, quaint, charming, and in a great neighborhood! We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The home is clean and is accurately represented in the listing. We loved the front porch!
Our stay could not have been better. We met friends in Walla Walla to celebrate birthdays and anniversary. The home was neat, tidy and clean with every attention to detail in the decor.
The front porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and wine at night.
Property manager is great to work with and very responsive.
The only thing to be aware of is the upstairs bedrooms. They are connected by a door and the bathroom is through one of the bedrooms. There is another bathroom around the kitchen. If you want privacy at night and are traveling with more than one couple, one couple will need to sleep on the hide-a-bed in the basement (not super comfy).
One last note, if you enjoy walking this home is perfectly located. We went on a few walks around the neighborhood and to the parks. One park has an Aviary that you don't want to miss.
We would love to stay here again.
Craig and Mary are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year. Married in Walla Walla, where Mary grew up, they have since lived in Anchorage, Alaska enjoying the extreme seasons and outdoor activities from camping, fishing, gardening and golfing during the long summer days to cross country skiing and traveling outside to warmer climates during the short winter days.
We hope that you enjoy sharing the home that we have created for our eventual retirement in a couple of years.
