Great cabin; lots of amenities (electric fireplace!). Spectacular location steps from the Yellowstone. Only down point was that cabin 8 left their back lights on all night and ruined the one clear star gazing night we had. But cabin 7 canât be beat!!
It was an amazing place to stay. Very well maintained and equipped. We watched the elk and other wildlife.Sitting out on the patio in the morning was a favorite part of our day, watching the river and listening to the elk bugle. We used the fire pit a couple of nights. The host was amazing and accommodating. She responded to my question quickly. We easily brought our garbage when we went to town or into the park and dropped it by the airport. Loved our stay and would come back again.
We stayed 5 days. The inside of the cabin was very nice & clean. We really enjoyed the back patio. The entrance to the National park was very close & convenient. Didnât like taking our trash to a dumpster 4 miles away or the 3 mile rough dirt road that leads to the cabin.
Property was clean on the surface but needs a deep cleaning. Underneath beds and furniture and such. Also needs some updating and repairs done. Gas grill igniter didnât work, patio table chairs all had rips in webbing making them unsafe to sit on for anyone a little heavier. Front door deadbolt was barely usable. Some info was passed on to contact with no response. Nice location and beautiful property and amenities however. Would stay again if things were fixed up and cleaned up better.
We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The views are spectacular and it is conveniently located to the Northwest entrance of Yellowstone National Park and right on the Yellowstone River. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Set up great for families. We were with friends and we are all retired so could have benefited from having a hand rail to get in and out of the tub/shower, but other than that, it was perfect! Thank you, Marty for providing such a beautiful property for us to stay in! It was wonderful!
What a fantastic getaway for a summer Yellowstone vacation! Conveniently located near the north entrance to YNP, this cabin is exactly what we needed. We spent each day this week searching the park for wildlife; then we returned to the cabin to relax and recharge for the next day. My brother and I made some special memories with our Dad on this trip. Weâre already planning a return trip and hope to stay here!
We enjoyed our stay in this Gardiner cabin. Easy access to northern entrance of Yellowstone. There was a wonderful view of the river from the back of the property. The cabin had everything we needed!
I highly recommend this property for a Yellowstone vacation. Close to the park, but also out of the town so you have a quiet space to return to each day.
This cabin has everything you need! Fully stocked with all the essential's. Great view and right near the entrance to the park. Lots of wildlife and the Yellowstone river is feet away. The only two things that were a slight inconvenience was the trash that has to be removed and taken several miles to dispose of and the two roads to the cabin have a dirt washboard surface for a few miles. I would absolutely rent this property again. We saw tons of different wildlife including:Bald Eagles, Wolves, Elk, Deer, Antelope, Bison, rabbits, and woodpeckers. No Bears though.
When they say they everything they have everything!!. The only minor grip would be the tv's are a little small but if not gonna watch any tv then it's perfect location is great
We had a great time at this property. We saw more elk at this property than we did in the Park. Location was convenient to the Park and property had the amenities we needed
My husband and I have always wanted to see Yellowstone so thatâs what we did for our 10th anniversary!
We rented Cabin 7 from 9/28/24-10/5/24 and we absolutely loved our time spent there!! The owners have gone above and beyond in stocking the cabin and it is in such a beautiful location. There were elk close to the cabin every day and we saw antelope too close to the property.
I would highly recommend staying at this cabin!!
Great 2nd stay at the cabin. It is stocked with everything you may need including a washer/dryer. Nice large space for us to spread out and also added bonus of elk in yard daily. Downsides- beds and AC. The room with the double beds needed replacement. You could feel the springs thru the mattresses which seemed very old and we were in terrible pain the next day. The only other issue we had was the AC. It was quite warm while we were there, mid 80s and the AC would shut off in the middle of the night.
Great to be right on the river. We enjoyed the firepit. Well stocked kitchen. Funky smell in one of the bathrooms and we had a kitchen sink leak while there.
We love Cabin Seven! It was well-equipped and a perfect fit for the 7 of us. We definitely suggest it to others and plan to return again. Thanks so much to our host for a wonderful experience.
My name is Marty Haskins. In the picture is my father-in-law Frank Kroll. We purchased the cabin in November of 2005 along with my wife Kelly and Frank's wife Debbie. We bought the property thinking of how great it would be to have a 'getaway' that is riverfront, park-front, and forest service-front. We have been blessed to find out the demand for housing near Yellowstone Park. We only thought we would rent out about 6 weeks a year and now are renting the whole summer. We spend a lot of time at the cabin in the spring and fall. The picture you see is the fire pit about 10 yards from our back door. As you can see I like a big campfire.
Gardiner is a very special place in Montana and it just happens to be the only year round entrance into the park. This location is ideal for a vacation in the Park. For me it is ideal for fishing the mighty Yellowstone River. I have been vacationing in Yellowstone since I was a young boy. I grew up in rural North Dakota and had an Aunt and Uncle who lived in Billings, MT. They had two boys my age so my brother and I would come to Montana in the summer for two weeks and they would take us to the Park. Thanks to my Aunt and Uncle I now live in Bozeman, I met my beautiful wife in Billings and I now own a cabin bordering Yellowstone Park.
The cabin is surrounded by National Park Land, Forest Service Land, and the Yellowstone River. Best of all it is only 300 yards from the Park, yet 4 miles from the entrance and the town of Gardiner. You get a secluded base camp from the park that is only minutes away. Our favorite thing to do is sit around the campfire at night while Debbie makes peach cobbler in the dutch oven.
