Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with South facing terrace and open views towards the sea. Perfect location just 300 metres from Sao Rafael beach (recently voted the best in the Algarve and fourth best in Europe). The apartment is in a private condominium of low rise white painted Portuguese style buildings with terracotta roofs set in beautiful mature gardens. There is a large main swimming pool and separate children’s pool. The apartment sleeps 4 and has one double bedroom with ensuite and one twin bedroom, each with balconies overlooking the gardens. The new main bathroom has a large walk in shower. There is a spacious lounge with adjoining open plan kitchen and dining area for four people, two sofas, satellite TV (English channels only) and log burning fire. Patio doors lead to good size south facing terrace with second dining area and BBQ - ideal for sunbathing, barbecued meal or just a glass of wine. Short drive or beautiful walk to nearby Albufeira marina and the beautifully restored Old Town. This property is fully licensed and complies with all current regulations, licence number 11948/AL.

Great getaway for young family

We are a young family of two adults and one 3 year old boy. The apartment was exactly as described and just what we wanted for a relaxing holiday very close to beach and pool but also within easy travelling distance of other facilities. We stayed for a week without a car and found buses and taxis reliable and cheap but would want one if we stopped for 2 weeks. Everything needed was available in the apartment and owners information pack of local restaurants etc was very useful as was help from office. We hope to go again next year!

A noter : odeurs de canalisation dans la salle de bain principale, et le manque de flexibilité pour l'arrivée (échange téléphonique pas des plus sympathique avec le propriétaires mais rattrapé par l'échange en face à face avec la propriétaire)

Perfeito para férias com crianças, a casa é espaçosa, o espaço exterior é otimo para brincadeiras e a piscina para um mergulho. A praia de S. Rafael fica pertinho para ir a pé e comer uma bola de belim!

Perfect location & very nice flat

We spent 3 weeks in family with 2 kids . Everybody happy with the location ( 5 real min to the beach with easy accessibility. Fantastic beach and area , very calmly . All you need is in the flat, Terrassa is big and the view fantastic with a small see part. Parking for free, Internet working well ( No prob in teleworking ). We spent a very pleasant time and definitely will be back and recommend it. Last important point, perfect communication with the landlords. Nicolas

The perfect place to stay

Our family of four (with two teenage boys) have just returned from a week in this fab apartment and we loved every minute! The apartment has all you need, with a well equipped kitchen, wifi and great living area. It is immaculately clean, in a beautiful quiet location with the lovely pool area a 2 min walk away which provided shade if required and enough sunbeds for everyone with a bar/snack bar too. The very pretty beach is a 5 min walk and has watersports available so our boys took a 2 hour paddle boarding tour which they loved. The beach restaurant is nice and very busy at lunchtime with drinks/ice-creams available to take away. Sao Rafael is a lovely area with several 5 star hotels nearby and only a 5 min taxi ride or 25 min walk to Albufeira marina which has lots of restaurants overlooking the water and multiple boat ride/fishing/caves/dolphin watching trips available along the front. There are a few restaurants at the top of the road near the Maritur hotel and the bus stop is on the main road for sightseeing tours and the bus to the water park - Slide and Splash is an excellent day out! We spent a morning on a brilliant fishing trip from the marina, the boys caught lots of bream, mackerel and grouper which we bbq'd that evening on the balcony - absolutely perfect! We had a fantastic vacation and would definitely return as it's in a good location, no car required if you don't want to travel further afield and has everything you need! Brilliant!

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet location with everything you needed. Apartment complex was established and very pretty. Gorgeous beach only 10 minutes walk away. Lovely clean pool area close by.

Wonderful Relaxing Holiday

Everything was just great, especially the weather. We really enjoyed the apartment, and the location and environment were perfect for us. Terrific pool and lots of sun lounging space. In addition to Sao Rafael beach we explored several others, and also managed 2 of the water parks. Some good rides at Aquashow, but we much favoured Aqualand....far less busy, and a much nicer setting. Great beach bars for a quiet drink after a day in the sun. Nice restaurants within walking distance, but don't miss out on using the BBQ and buying local food for a balcony meal!

Lovely, well-equipped appartment, quiet location and well situated. We had an absolutely great time. Weather was perfect, location is quite 'up market' and people very friendly.

Wonderful relaxing holiday

We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) have just had a lovely relaxing fortnight at this apartment. The apartment was just as described and very clean. The beautiful beach was literally 5 minutes walk and the restaurant there was excellent (if a bit pricey). We didn't hire a car and managed to get into Alubfeira by taxi. I would recommend hiring a car though if you like to get out and about - we were happy staying at the beach or by the pool.

we ( 4 adults between 50 and 55 ) just had a marvellous vacation in a splendid and clean apartment in a well maintained resort. a place i would recommend to a friend a of relative but not in the high season ( begin july ) . you also need a car to go to Albufeira or anywehere else.

Amazing holiday!!

We had a fantastic week in this apartment, there is tons of space and it was exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything you would need on a self catering holiday. The complex its self has beautiful and well maintained gardens and the pool side was also spotless and very relaxing. The closest beach (Sao Rafael) is lovely and the fact that it was mainly occupied by locals is always a good sign of a hidden gem! On the way back from the beach we would highly recommend popping into Pria Grande for gorgeous food with amazing sea views. Evarista beach is also within walking distance, we strolled down one evening and ate at the seafood restaurant which was as delicious as we remembered from previous visits. We have been to portugal a few times and have always rented privately owned apatments, however this place was by far the best due to the lovely apartment and grounds and also the superb location. We will definately be back!

Good vacations!!!

We are a family with two children and came with us my parents. We stay only 5 days, but was a very good days in the apartament. The descriptions of the apartament, the place, the pool, the beach is exactly that you sayed. we cames in august. Yuppie!!!

Nice appartment close to excellent beach

Very comfortable appartment on walking distance from a very nice beach. Several very good restaurants with excellent views over sea nearby. To reach some of them a car is needed. Good walking tracks along the sea. The appartment itself is part of a complex with nice gardens and swimming pool. There is a nice children swimming pool as well. We felt really at home! We visited outside the high season and the area was quiet which we did not mind at all.
