Carolina Cottage (5 lits, 5, 5 salles de bains) et Hideaway (2013) (5 chambres, 5. 5 salles de bains) sont de nouvelles maisons de plage adjacentes qui sont en miroir. Ils peuvent être loués ENSEMBLE ou SEPAREMENT pour les mariages ou les réunions de famille. Ensemble, ils fournissent 10 chambres, 11 salles de bains et dormir pour 28 personnes !!!!
'Carolina Cottage AND Hideaway sont des maisons de plage avec le meilleur des deux mondes; un pâté de maisons de l'océan Atlantique en face et situé sur le paisible Garden City Marsh à l'arrière. La propriété est située sur une rue assez arrière avec un trafic minimal.

Passez vos matinées à jouer sur la plage et vos après-midi à flâner dans votre piscine privée surplombant le marais avec les aigrettes, le balbuzard pêcheur et les pélicans. Le coucher de soleil sur le marais est à couper le souffle. Si vous êtes prêt pour des événements plus excitants, essayez CRABBING, SHRIMPING, ou FLOUNDER FISHING du quai (qui sait, vous pouvez attraper assez pour fournir à votre famille un grand dîner de fruits de mer!) La vie est belle à Carolina Cottage et Hideaway!

Les deux maisons sont décorées de façon similaire avec un thème de plage coloré. Le salon dispose d'un canapé, causeuse et une grande chaise avec pouf, 50 'écran plat, lecteur Blue-ray et le câble. Les CUISINES sont entièrement équipées et les appareils en acier inoxydable. Chaque unité a deux chambres à coucher principale l'une est à l'étage principal et l'autre est à l'étage. Les deux ont des lits king, grande salle de bain principale, balcon privé, TV à écran plat et HD Blue-ray et le câble. Quatre autres chambres à l'étage. L'un est la deuxième chambre principale, deux avec lits queen et une avec trois lits jumeaux pour les enfants. Toutes les chambres ont des bains privés, télévision par câble à écran plat et des terrasses extérieures. Système de jeu Wii Blue Ray Les lecteurs DVD sont disponibles à l'étage. WiFi partout.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay! The house was perfect for us, the yard was great for the dogs, and my kids loved the pool. Walking to the beach was a breeze and my husband and kids had a great time fishing off the dock! We hope to visit again in the future!!

Beach Week 24

The house is great for large families. The pool was great . The location was listed in Murrels Inlet , but is actually in Garden City . The hostess was very kind and checked on us to make sure everything was fine and we had all that we needed. We did and more. The house is well stocked. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it, especially for families!

Apparently when I received the email with instructions regarding the property and checking out information was not correct . After contacting the owner I found out that the email we received was for prime season which starts 6/1 and we where there in May so therefore our instructions where different .This made me realize why none of the beds where made when we arrived , the towels we received where not all white which is the usual standard for a vrbo rental ( for sanitary reasons ) our towels looked like older towels . They were all paper thin many of them discolored . The master bathroom on 1st floor needed to be vacuumed and I’m sure the tube was never cleaned because you couldn’t open up on side of the shower door . My husband is a plumber by trade and when he tried to slide the door the 1st night it practically came off in his hands . He was able to put it back on and I notified the owners . The front of the fiberglass tub was somehow damaged by another person staying there and that was patched with some kind of cream colored material . Every bathroom in the house needs to be repaired and the entire place needs to be painted .Stains on the walls they have never been wiped down or cleaned . I’m not sure the cleaning people move the rugs in the bathrooms because they all need to be cleaned or replaced . We have stayed in many vrbo places , in fact we stayed in one for New Year’s Eve in Gatlinburg Tennessee which was a 5 start home , this is worth 3 .

Family Christmas

Excellent experience. Very clean and comfortable, actually bigger then it seems online. All rooms are nice, but recommend grabbing the bottom king for yourself! Did three meals at beach house and didn't need any additional "stuff", so don't worry about that. We did buy ice from the store and kept in the freezer for adult beverages. The sunset view out the back is fantastic and we got great family pictures from the dock. Short drive to Garden City and Surfside food and activities. We had our dogs with us, and they were very happy and comfortable. The unit we had was all tile floor, which made things less stressful with grandkids/dogs running about. The whole VRBO thing was a little "scary" but don't let all the information coming at you discourage use, it all worked out and we had a great family Christmas.

No Privacy

Of course, the reply is going to be how I was a terrible guest, how I didn’t hand over the deposit check and pet fee (cash was demanded for the pet fee), and how I left. All true. After being interrupted multiple times during the few days we were there the demand was enough for us to pick up our things and go elsewhere. A very strange stay to say the least, like the owners wanted to be in the vacation with us.. one owner wanted to change air filters in the middle of the vacation, then they just showed up and let themselves in the gate while we were out trying to enjoy the pool (to ask for money). In one instance my daughter and I returned from a morning walk on the beach and observed an owner creeping around the property, moving around trash cans, going in the back yard.. it felt like we were watched the entire time via cameras and their family staying next door. The place was fairly clean, an inch of dust on Knick knacks and shelves all around the place, spider webs and eggs right by the door (unit A), Wayfair special furniture. Unit B was immaculate, that was the one for their family that stayed next to us. Hint to the owners, when people pay a premium for a private place they want privacy rather than constant interruptions. Pictures need to be updated for the property as well. It looks to be somewhat isolated from the listing, it is not. The property is right in the thick of it all. The pool was awesome, beds were awful. One star stay at four star price.

Perfect location and fabulous pool

We had everything we needed here for a week as a cooking family. We enjoyed all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were super comfy! The living area accommodated all of us! The pool was fabulous, and we watched two of our grandchildren learn to swim before our eyes! The pet friendly policy was appreciated! The sunsets were gorgeous from the deck, and we loved sering all the wildlife in the marsh! The walk to the beach was easy as described. Thanks for a fabulous week!

Fantastic vacation!!!!

We came down to Murrells Inlet for my daughter’s graduation from Coastal Carolina University. There were 8 of us plus our fur babies! Everything was great! The location is just perfect. Everyone enjoyed being on the marshland. The house met all of our expectations and then some. Communication with Linda/Dennis was outstanding. We all enjoyed meeting Dennis, especially our Frenchie Lilo. Thank you Linda and Dennis for providing a wonderful place for our family. We will definitely be back😁❤️

The houses were very nice.

We enjoyed our stay. We rented both sides and were very comfortable. If I could make a recommendation, it would be to have Lugguage racks in each bedroom and something to hang towels on in the bathroom. An elevator to send all the stuff up in would have been nice but then again exercise is good for you. They were great and we had a wonderful time.

Relaxation

Very relaxing family trip. Great location. Crabbing in marsh, swimming in small pool, easy walk to beach. Entire family just hung out most of the time. Grandkid’s loved it. Everything we needed.

Comfortable beach house

Nice place with a great view of the Inlet wild life and nature off the porch. Closer to the beach than I thought, easy walk, a couple of hundred yards and straight onto the beach. Kitchen well equipped with pots, pans, silverware, slow cookers etc. nice little pool and a shaded area at the pool. Overall a very nice place to unwind.

Very enjoyable

Previously lived in the area years ago and it as a reunion to see family and friends, some of which had never met our grands who were with us. The house was very accommodating for that and was located in an ideal location. Our stay was the end of March and we knew it was going to be a little too cool for the beach but fortunately we had some warm beach days and even enjoyed several walks on the beach.

What a Great Home!

What a great home! The pictures don’t really do this place justice. We loved all the spacious, well-furnished and tastefully decorated rooms, and the kitchen was perfect (fully stocked with everything you could really want). Made it easy to feel at home. And the location is unbelievable. It was so awesome to wake up to the marsh right out the back door, sipping our morning coffee while watching the “diving ducks” disappear under water. So fun! It was like the nature channel out there 24/7. The sunsets over the marsh are spectacular! On a map, you really don’t get a sense of just how close you are to the beach. It’s right there! And the private fenced backyard is amazing. Our dog loved doing the zoomies around the pool! And our hosts Linda and Dennis were great—made the whole visit very easy. They checked on us to make sure everything was just right, and then left us alone to ensure the place felt like our own. Just can’t say enough nice things about this place.

Great location

Garden City Beach is in a good location-short walk to the beach with beautiful sunset views of the marsh from the back deck. We enjoyed bird watching. Generally the house is well equipped however the property may be in need of updates of mattresses, linens and blinds. Not all the blinds seem to be in good working order. Bed linens are thin and in need of update. Mattresses also could be updated. Kitchen could stand a clean out-many duplicate utensils. Space for food is limited especially if staying for longer than a few days. This house is perfect for a large group since each bedroom has attached bath. Some of these issues may be because we were there at the end of a long rental season. Owner provides copious posted notes in numerous locations about property rules and regulations. Please note that the owner does not provide towels unless you wash and put away before the 9:00 am checkout. Can truthfully say I have stayed in rental homes all over the US and in Italy and have never had towels not provided.. Overall a good place to stay for a crowd at a great beach.

Great stay!

Our family loved our stay at Carolina Cottage. The home was very clean, very well equipped, the kitchen stocked with all items you need to prepare a meal, the TV had cable and Netflix (great for watching news in the morning and movies at night), there were lots of pool and beach toys. Loved sunsets over the marsh and watching all the birds come and go. We were a little nervous about staying in a multi-family home, but the decks and pools between units were private which was really nice. Even though the unit next to us had a family with 2 dogs and a baby we couldn’t hear a thing! The home itself sat on a pretty quiet street. Grocery store and great restaurants were only a few minutes drive (highly recommend Conch Cafe and Island Bar & Grill). The walk to the beach (only a couple minutes) was a little long for my parents so we just drove down the street and there was a small lot for public parking. Next time we may get a golf cart. The beach itself was a little busier then other areas we’ve been to in the area, but it didn’t stop us from having a good time. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely consider staying again.

As a little girl, we used to come here as a family. Now that I have grown up, Dennis and I brought our family here to have some good family fun. This is where our family stays bonded with each other. Our children and grandchildren will always remember the fun times catching crab out back, playing volleyball in the pool, cooking out while watching the pelicans swoop down for their dinner. And best of all pure wholesome family fun.
