Un chalet exclusif de voie navigable privé et tranquille si près de la plage que vous pouvez entendre les vagues se briser le long du rivage. Cette maison d'hôtes de 1 chambre et 1 salle de bain de style artisan est située sur une propriété unique de 5 acres en front de marais avec une jetée privée menant à une terrasse et à un quai de kayak. Les vues incomparables sur les zones humides côtières le long de Montgomery Slough, la faune abondante et les couchers de soleil remarquables vous donneront envie de revenir année après année.

Cette escapade de vacances ne ressemble à aucune autre sur Oak Island. Parmi les nombreuses caractéristiques du plan d'étage ouvert, il y a une cuisine gastronomique entièrement équipée avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en granit, un climatiseur central, une télévision par câble, un téléviseur HD à écran plat de 51 pouces et Internet sans fil. Laveuse / sécheuse superposées pleine grandeur, douche extérieure H / C avec vestiaire, entrée couverte, abri pour 1 voiture, rangement au niveau du sol et terrasse avec barbecue à gaz. Draps, serviettes et ménage de départ fournis. Kayaks, vélos et chaises de plage sont inclus pour votre plaisir.

Une retraite de couple merveilleux et un cadre parfait pour les ornithologues amateurs et les amateurs de la faune. Il est à seulement cinq minutes à pied de la plage pour profiter d'une journée au soleil. Détendez-vous sur la terrasse privée donnant sur les zones humides et profitez de l'observation des oiseaux - plus de 200 espèces d'oiseaux peuplent l'île chaque été. Prenez une pagaie paisible en kayak au large de notre quai ou une balade à vélo autour de l'île. Offrez-vous une partie de golf au Oak Island Country Club. Il est à quelques pas de la jetée d'Ocean Crest ou du restaurant Island Way pour dîner en bord de mer. Conduisez à Southport à proximité et prenez le ferry pour Bald Head Island ou Ft historique. Pêcheur. Wilmington est à moins d'une heure de route.

Au moins une journée, prenez le temps d'aller à la plage pour regarder le soleil se coucher à l'Ouest avant de revenir à la maison d'hôtes pour vous détendre et planifier votre lendemain. Sortez et trouvez une constellation ou deux ou trois.

Perfect Couples Getaway

We loved our stay and look forward to returning soon. The pictures are very represenitive of this special place. Very private and easy walking distance to the beach. Very well equiped and a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Your pulse is sure to slow a beat or two. Communication with Gerry was easy and we met him upon arriving. He was welcoming and helpful with a couple of eating suggestions.

You’ll love it!

Don’t know what was better… the privacy, the view, the location, the accommodations or the hospitality. We’ve stayed in Oak Island several times and didn’t know a place like this existed. Will definitely be my first choice when we come back. Bikes were comfortable for a stroll around the island. We rode over to Yacht Drive then all the way to the turn to the Lazy Turtle. Hung out and rode back. Kayaks are sit on top and looked high-end (like everything else), but I forgot my paddles to transport them to the area around Lonerider so we could explore, and I’m still kicking myself. However, you can also explore the marsh by launching from the dock. Loved our stay here!

Peace and Tranquility

What a perfect beach house. Great location. It is beautifully decorated and cozy. So many thoughtful details, including a bottle of wine welcoming us to the beach. Our host, Gerry, was awesome. He stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. He was very personable but extremely respectful to our privacy. We can’t wait to come back and stay here.

Great reprieve!

Great getaway. LOVED the view of the marsh area and we were still very close to the beach - a short walk. Nice to have the kayaks - should have used them more - next time. We could enjoy a view of the sunset from the back deck. It was a perfect layout for a couple and a well stocked kitchen. Host was very responsive. We hope to be back! Wonderful Experience

The guest house and the location were both absolutely amazing. The guest house was spotless and fully equipped with anything you could possibly need. The view from the large inside windows and outside deck was incredible. We really enjoyed watching and listening to all the birds. Gerry was a great host, and the level of communication was perfect. Perfect weekend!

We were here off season for a workshop and it was absolutely perfect. Perfect for a couple. Everything is updated and beautiful. The deck overlooks the marsh so it was wonderful to sit, have a glass of wine and watch the birds in the evening. Property manager was great- easy to work with and we had one tiny issue and he was over to address it right away. We would 100% stay here again and we highly recommend!

Gerry is a wonderful host! His guest house is beautiful, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful week in Oak Island. The beach, the pier and the excellent Island Way restaurant are well within a 5 minute walk. He greeted us briefly on our arrival and is very friendly, the wine and chocolates we found inside were enjoyable. And if you have any questions he is very quick to help. Our 1st stay here last year was so enjoyable we decided to come back again. Our visit this time was just as relaxing. The location is convenient to everything with quick walkable access to the beach. And the view of the marsh every morning is relaxing and refreshing.

This will be my fourth year as owner of a wonderful guest house on Oak Island, North Carolina. Growing up near the ocean with the sounds of the sea birds, the roar of the waves crashing on the beaches, and the clear night sky filled with so many stars, I consider myself fortunate to be able to enjoy them all again.

If you long for the ocean that was once a part of your life as it has been for us, I invite you to Oak Island, a world away from the noise and rush of the "city-life" and to take this opportunity to re-acquaint yourself with the "sounds of the sea".
