Second stay and all enjoyed the villa as much as last year. Great location in wonderful Salcombe, first class accommodation and hotel staff most helpful with parking and transfer of bags.
Absolutely beautiful property in a perfect location
The property was beautiful, it was flawlessly decorated and very well equipped. The kids especially enjoyed the access to the swimming facilities at the adjacent hotel
The property was ideally located in the heart of Salcombe. Beautifully presented with excellent views across the bay. Ideal for sitting and watching the yachts and boats go past.
The property is beautiful the location is excellent and extremely well appointed inside, very comfortable beds beautiful linen and overall very comfortable.
The most beautiful property in the most fabulous location
Would definitely recommend to anyone
My only point if you have older relatives with you is there is no lift to the villas set lower down and quite a few steps which were a struggle for my mum with cancer and nana who's 90 - but they managed it- just.
Also think that there should be a service to take your luggage to the front door due to the steps situation especially if your older on arrival.
Other than that was đŻ perfect x
This house is a great choice for a family or group of friends and is perfectly placed being just a short walking distance to the town centre and ferry. We were a family of 10, of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open plan living room/kitchen is stunning and has everything you need for self catering and the adjoining glass balcony that leads off this room overlooks the estuary where there is always lots going on to watch. The enclosed balcony and a fitted stairgate at this level and basement level was a welcome addition and meant we didn't have to worry about toddlers on the stairs or going outside. All the bedrooms are spacious with quality fittings - the master bedroom and two others having great estuary views. Obviously being right on the water meant there were steps to negotiate up to street level and the car park but that was fine, even with young children. There is a lift if you enquire at the hotel but we didn't need this until the last day for our luggage. The check-in process would normally be simple as there is a key safe that you are given a code for. It was just unfortunate in our case that the key was missing! However the management company n Salcombe were still open to resolve this. Parking is Salcombe is always tight but the hotel runs a valet parking service which worked well for us. If anything the online listing, although accurate, doesn't do the house justice as there is so much you could say - for example the welcome pack was a lovely touch. However the owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had - I would certainly recommend this house and hope to go back!
This is a wonderful property for up to 10 people right in the heart of Salcombe overlooking the estuary. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
