A beautiful apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. It is well equipped and comfortable. The cave was perfect to store our bikes. Parking was never a problem and we were close to shops and bars/restaurants. There's plenty to do, a swimming pool in Champagny, bike parks in Meribel, Courchevel and Les Arcs and a fantastic indoor/outdoor pool in Courchevel. We could only watch DVDs through the television, no French TV but there are some DVDs available. All in all, a great holiday base.
This apartment is great, very well equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds and excellent location (a very short walk to the stores). Communication with the host was good and they even let us have an early check-in.
A few things to note however:
- There is a very steep stairway to get from the entrance to the bedrooms (and another, a bit less steep to access the kitchen area). This is not an issue if you are a skier/hiker, but if there are older people or people who struggle in steep stairways in your party, this can be an issue.
- The second limitation is the lack of soundproofing between the kitchen and the bedrooms. Anyone walking in the kitchen area will be heard in the bedroom, no matter how quietly they walk.
- It would be nice to have blinds on the skylights in the kitchen/living room area to help keep the place cool on hot summer days.
- Finally, all instructions are in English only (note for US tourists, that is British English ;) ). This was not an issue for us, but it would be a nice touch to have instructions in French too.
Don't let these few limitations stop you. If you don't mind the steep stairs (which you probably won't if you go skiing or hiking), this is a fantastic place to stay. We also enjoyed the collection of tea and coffee in the kitchen, a very nice touch.
Top Wohnung. Gut ausgestattet, gemĂŒtlich, hat soweit alles gepasst.
Hat uns gut gefallen. Ist alles da. Wohnung ist gut aufgeteilt, KĂŒche top ausgestattet. Ruhig gelegen, Anfahrt zum Skigebiet Paradiski problemlos u. kurz.
There is a lovely place here.
We had an amazing stay. This nice apartment is very well equipped.
The decoration was carried out with a lot of care and tastes.
Hope we will come back in the futur.
Great location, lovely lodge, perfect family break!
We visited Bozel to attend a wedding at La Tania. Two families stayed and there was plenty of space for us all, good facilities and the lodge was well equipped for our requirements. Bozel is a lovely place, we had cars so weâre able to explore the other local villages. The weather was beautiful (a couple of thunderstorms later in the day but didnât ruin any plans). We would definitely recommend the lodge.
Thank you Vanessa for a lovely stay! Our family enjoyed your home, Bozel and the surrounding immensely. From alpine skiing at Courchevel to nordic skiing at Champagny le Haut, your home provided a really quiet, and cozy retreat after spending our days exploring. We sincerely hope to return in the future.
Thank you.

Perfect for our needs- excellent position for ski slopes and for local facilities
Would definitely use again
Lots of space for our party of people
Nice quality property excellent location
It was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked, including most staples (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, etc). There were ample towels and linens. The washer/dryer worked well. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. Nice bathrooms. The wifi was powerful enough to watch Netflix. The stores were just steps away. Very quiet at night. Nice view. The owners were available via phone when we couldn't figure out the wifi code (our problem). The only very minor flaw was we sometimes had to park a short distance away (no reserved parking). We hope to stay here again.
The owner was extremely welcoming providing comprehensive information prior to our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The beds were made up on arrival which was nice after travelling. The accommodation is a true home from home-beautifully decorated with a very well equipped kitchen and modern appliances.
Bozel was a great summer base. We took road bikes for which there was secure bike storage and also walked, white water rafted and ate a lot! We hope we will visit again.
This apartment is a hidden gem in the heart of Bozel.Stunning place to stay and refurbished to a very high standard .
Everything you could possibly need has been catered for ,spacious and beautiful
I look forward to my return !
We were a party of two couples and spent a week here during July. We wanted a week full of wonderful walks (including the mountain where people ski in the winter), delicious food (local pubs and restaurants serve great food) and comfortable accommodation. This apartment doesn't disappoint! It is really spacious, with a balcony for enjoying a cheeky drink and watching the scenery. The sofas seated all of us with loads of room to spare. The kitchen has all the utensils we needed and is wonderfully bright and airy.
It is easy to find and central to lots of beautiful villages. We had such a lovely time and will definitely go back.
Excellent centrally located apartment tastefully refurbished to a high standard but maintaining alpine character. Well equipped and spacious accommodation. Balcony but no garden. Useful storage for bikes /skis.
Steep steps to access the accommodation so not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Will be booking for next year.
Great Apartment and Location. A1
Apartment was very clean, a high specification and right in the centre of unspoilt Bozel. Everything looked brand new in the apartment.
The apartment was comfortable with good mattresses - a must! Its 2min walk to local restaurants, where we choose to eat local food specialities as well as the standard pizza etc, but all of a good standard.
We also found the Bozel Apartment to be a great location for moving about the 3 Valleys whether by car or the local buses. Highly recommend for those who want a little bit of old fashioned and charming Alpine France.

We are a family living in England who love skiing. We had always dreamt of owning a mountain property in France and in 2009 we realised our dream. We chose the 3 Valleys area as we had enjoyed many happy ski holidays here and knew that it offered many kilometres of varied pistes to suit all levels. Our children have learnt to ski here and are now better than us! We enjoy visiting the apartment as often as we can during the ski season but also in the summer when we can walk and swim surrounded by beautiful Alpine scenery.
We fell in love with Bozel as it is a year round working French village rather than a "ski station" which would only be active in the winter and be dead in the summer.
Bozel has every amenity to cater for a winter or summer holiday - supermarkets, shops, eateries, patisseries, butchers, ski hire and clothing. These are all within walking distance.
For trips further afield there is Champagny-Le-Haut (20 minutes drive) for mountain walks and a refuge offering delicious meals. There are also outdoor pools at Champangny and Pralognan.
We find that we really unwind once we hit the mountains. Our favourite thing is to sit around the log burner with a vin chaud after a hard day on the pistes. In the summer we sit on the balcony with a coffee and watch village life.
