Great comfortable condo. Perfect for two couples. I had a few issues( being me) with checking in and keyless entry but the contact person was always so helpful. It was in a great location. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
decent location. Room was slightly dirty. grease on kitchen counter. floors had dirt and trash on them in one bedroom and living room area. needs painted and updated. overall decent but we will stay elsewhere next trip. a little pricey for the lack of cleanliness and our of date room. 3 air conditioner all worked differently on same temperature settings. did see lots of bears from balcony each day. Again not bad but not for us next trip.
The condo had everything we needed, however, I would suggest some updates. The sofa is so uncomfortable to sit on; the sheets are worn and pilled. The condo was clean and neat when we arrived well before the 4 pm check-in time. Plenty of towels for our use.
One year post fire, exterior of the building is really rough. Donât let that fool you, inside is still well taken care of. New exterior by 2018 according to some super friendly neighbors. Overall great place to stay. Definitely a redo.
There 2 bathrooms but both are in the bedrooms. no extra towels. Bring towels if you want to go to the pool or hot tub. other than that no problems. we met the owners at check in and they were very nice and accommodating
The wooded view behind the property is beautiful, with a great mountain view on the other side.
This is a beautiful 2bdrm condo with each bdrm having a private full bath. The common area and kitchen are comfortable and inviting. The place was spotless when we arrived. We had a trailer with us and parking was tight, but that is in part, due to rebuilding that has to take place following the fires. We appreciated the independent ac in each bedroom and the living room. The water is clean, as were the linens. It's a little farther from the parkway than we cared to walk. We would definitely stay again.
Patty answered all questions promptly and made the rental process easy. Although it was an older building it was very well maintained. The condo it was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our three day weekend. As far as the condo is concerned the things I would recommend to the owner is buy a blender and maybe invest in a new sofa or have the sofa cushions replaced. It was very uncomfortable to sit on due to the cushions being broken down and flat. The condo was close enough to walk to the downtown area to enjoy the shopping, restaurants and activities. It was also very close to the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.
I rented this condo for a family weekend getaway. The proximity to the main strip in Gatlinburg is great. The building, though, is run down. One main reason I booked this room was because it had an indoor pool for my kids, but the pool was closed. However, there were about 10 young adults/teens partying in the pool area around 10 pm...drinking & smoking pot, which could be smelled in the room. The elevator didn't work properly...my husband & son were stuck when trying to check out with our luggage on a luggage cart. The bathtubs looked dingy & every sink/tub seemed clogged (wouldn't properly drain). The beds were rock hard. The tvs were a pain to try & figure out (multiple remotes, some without batteries) & no instructions. I was leery of using the towels because they didn't smell clean/looked dingy. There was accumulated dust on fixtures feom the ceiling. The parking area is very small & the spaces are too narrow. My son has special needs & we have a hanicapped tag for him...there were yound adults outside messing around & parked in a handicapped spot without a handicapped placard or tag. With no office or officials there, we had no way to have any of our issues handled. All in all, it was truly an awful experience & this place is not for people seeking a nice family trip.
My husband and I stayed here with our brother and sister-in-law and had a great time. The condo is within walking distance to the parkway and shops, restaurants, etc. It definitely requires a little walk to get there but is very do-able. The condo itself was very nice and clean and the owners were responsive and friendly. I am giving the property 4 stars mainly due to a lack of kitchen supplies. If you are planning to cook a fair amount of meals in your rental, this is probably not the best place to choose. We only had one knife, and only enough cups/mugs for one meal meaning we were washing dishes several times a day. We consistently ran out of mugs, butter knives and some other items. If you don't plan to do much cooking or maybe only doing a simple breakfast, this unit will be perfectly adequate. We also had to go exploring to find the guest laundry room. It is a coin operated machine ($1.75 to wash and same to dry) so bring your quarters if you plan to do laundry.
The internet was terrible. I don't expect much when we're in the mountains, but I'm talking dial-up slow. We were only getting 1 Mbps download speeds. I needed to work on Monday morning and had to use the hot spot on my phone instead because trying to even open or access an email was impossible with the internet available in the Condo. If you are going to need internet during your stay, just know that going in!
Other than that, I would recommend this condo - especially for two couples. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but it seemed relatively nice and clean, although dated. The building is a little older and in need of a few upgrades, but the condo itself was very nice and cozy. We had no issues with check in or check out - it all went very smoothly other than the fact that on check-out day we had two bears scrounging for some breakfast in the area which made taking the trash out more exhilarating than normal. :) If you're up and moving in the early morning hours, make sure and keep an eye out for them and you just might spot them!
Older and smaller unit that was a little further away from the strip than I thought. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot water heater was not large enough for the 4 of us.
Cute condo just as listed! Clean and simple, which was just what we were looking for. Beds were comfortable and size was perfect for our family of 3! A little bit of a walk to the main strip (especially after being out all day) but we didn't mind. Would definitely stay here again!!
We chose this property because the close proximity to restaurants, shopping, Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Park, Hiking, horseback riding and the scenic view.
We love the location. It is within walking distance to downtown yet we still have a gorgeous view of the mountains. It is a easy walk to the Village, Ripleys Aquarium, Ober Gatlinburg Tram, Putt Putt Golf, Shops, all of our favorite Restaurants and Attractions. We enjoy the indoor pool year round and the gas fireplace in the winter. The private balcony or just sit out back and watch nature.
