Magnolia Lodge est situé dans l'enceinte de notre petite propriété de 10 acres à seulement 3 minutes de la voie express A38 Devon et à 1 mile en dehors du bourg de Newton Abbot. Le logement spacieux, au rez-de-chaussée, dispose d'un poêle à bois contemporain dans le salon, d'une cuisine équipée avec cuisinière et appareils encastrés, 2 chambres (les deux peuvent accueillir un lit de voyage), 2 salles de bains, jardin clos et parking. Il y a une excellente gamme de magasins locaux, de restaurants et d'installations à proximité pour répondre à toutes les exigences.

Amazing

Set in beautiful grounds with a lovely private garden. It is ideally situated for travelling all over Devon. We really enjoyed our stay. Rose was very helpful and did everything she could to make our stay perfect. The lodge is gorgeous. Can’t wait to go again!

Rose, the owner, was lovely. The property was very clean and tidy. Good facilities.The property backed onto a very busy road. There are mature trees between it and the road, however they didn't drown out the continual traffic noise.

Holiday Lodge

Excellent accommodation. Well fitted out with excellent decor and furnishings. Warmly greeted by Rose who even laid on a Devon Cream Tea for our arrival. Kitchen equipment etc was spot on with everything provided. This is a great base for touring S Devon. Easy access to attractions along the A38 to Exeter/ Plymouth, similarly good access to Torbay and the local shops in Newton Abbot.

Lovely stay in a Magnolia Lodge

Rose was a great host, communicating clearly before our arrival and throughout. The lodge is bigger than it looks in the listing, comfortable and very well equipped (tea, coffee facilities, toiletries, games and books). I was slightly concerned about the proximity to the road initially, but it is very well screened by the trees and sound proofing is excellent. If the weather was a bit better, the outdoor area looked nice. All in all, a really great experience and one we wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Amazing....totally recommend!

Rose and Adrian were so helpful, and there were some great additions just prior to our arrival.....fire pit and pizza oven, both of which we made good use of! The check in process was excellent, especially given the current circumstances with COVID, and we felt totally safe in the property. The location was perfect, and our 12 year olds very much enjoyed the beaches, and the zoo. All in all, the holiday was an immense success.....we will be back!

Just Wonderful

From initial communication with the owner to arrival and the rest of our stay it couldn't have gone any better. Modern, clean, bright accomodation with so many finishing touches to make your stay perfect. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally dog friendly, enclosed garden right next to your own parking area, a separate utility area for dirty dogs /shoes etc and a wide open space to walk in if needed. We felt so relaxed there. Easy access to road network also helped our stay . Would highly recommend.

Wonderful mini break spot to venture out

The property is beautiful and immaculately presented. The owners give so much information before and during the stay, with a gorgeous welcome basket and lots of local knowledge. The property was incredibly clean and spacious, and is very energy efficient which was important to us. We have no bad word to say! A bit of a heads up is dont rely on your satnav to give clear directions when nearing the property and instead use the owner's excellent instructions! You wont regret a stay here!

Fantastic accommodation

Magnolia Lodge offers superb accommodation which Rose and Adrian have finished to the highest standards. It is truly a home from home with all the facilities they put into the lodge. There is no need to bring anything but your personal items as everything else is already there. If you have young children games, buckets & spades, snorkelling gear and more is there to keep them entertained. The quality of furnishing in the lodge is excellent and it is so spacious that everyone one has enough space to relax. Rose & Adrian have thought of everything you could possibly need and want from your holiday location.

Glad to hear that you were able to make such use of the items in the "shed." Having a young family ourselves we tend to end up packing the kitchen sink and if you don't have to, when you go on holiday, then so much the better!

Our stay at Teigngrace

On arriving at the lodge on Stover farm we were pleasantly surprised at the rural location. The accommodation was very clean with all furnishings provided being comfortable. Rose & Adrian even allow the use of there Sky movie channel. The beds are also extremely comfortable, even my Mother in law was very pleased. Everything was provided by Rose & Adrian that being enough towels, tea towels and all the basic essentials that you need. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful rural location then this is the lodge you will want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay taking the mother in law away. You have Plenty of choices in Newton abbot to visit attractions or you can visit the coast, that being a 25minute drive from lodge to Paignton or Dawlish Warren. Wow! What a find!!

Rose and Adrian have gone above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome, at home and thoroughly spoilt. We've never relaxed into a holiday so quickly before. All furnishings are of a very high standard. Everything has been thought of. And for us, one of the major positives was the very secure garden, allowing us let our dogs straight out, off lead, to play around. Great location to get to either country walks, beaches or towns/villages. Cannot recommend this beautiful holdiay lodge enough!!

Absolutely fabulous property. Immaculately clean and well equipped. The enclosed garden was perfect for our 4 legged family member and the garden hideaway was perfect for summer evenings outside. Fabulous stay at Magnolia Lodge

One of the best uk holiday rentals we’ve ever had. Rose and Adrian have thought about every detail so that you don’t have to bring your whole house with you! It is spotlessly clean, and has a lovely big garden with access to the main meadow. It’s close to the most beautiful beaches as well as Dartmouth and good places to eat. We can definitely recommend eating at The Crab Shack and booking the Devon Sea Safari at Teignmouth. We will definitely be returning. Thanks so much Adrian and Rose for a 5* holiday

Excellent for a family holiday

Immaculately presented and very well equipped property, spotlessly clean and very spacious. Good location for visiting a multitude of local coastal resorts, lots of local amenities within a few minutes drive. Very dog friendly, fully enclosed spacious garden, lovely sun trap in the late afternoons. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

what a fabulous find, property exceeded our expectations in every way, from quality of lodge and furnishings to every single item supplied - of which there are many. You could wish for nothing more, and so convenient for visiting the coast and the moors. Numerous items supplied in the shed for kiddies, fishing gear, body boards, crabbing gear, even a pizza oven and barbecue. Our dog loved the enclosed garden, and the field out front for his morning romps. Rose and Adrian are wonderful hosts, only next door and at the end of the phone should you need to ask anything. This was our first visit, but definitely will be going again, as have many others after reading the visitor book,

Cracking little find

Cannot fault this lodge at all. It was immaculately clean and was a complete home from home. Everything you need was provided in this property and it was very peaceful. Having the field next to the property was ideal for early morning dog walks, before then heading out to local beaches or forests. The hosts who lived next door, were lovely and were available for anything, not that we needed anything from them. Only downside was that we had to come home.

Just what was needed...

Magnolia Lodge was more than we could have wished for and had everything we needed (and more). The hosts were a text message away should there have been any problems. We would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be returning.

My husband and I live on the 10 acre site and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, Just as well as there's plenty of jobs to keep us busy outside.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought Stover Park Farm, with its 10 acres, in February 2010 and we truly appreciate the green space we call home. We're situated just 3 minutes from the A38 Devon Expressway and our location provides the perfect base to visit South Devon's beautiful beaches, the English Riviera and Dartmoor National Park. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are close by and Cornwall is only 45 minutes away over the Tamar Bridge.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

In April 2012 we converted the cedar clad building, next to our house, into our holiday let and named it "Magnolia Lodge" as it sits in the shadow of two beautiful Magnolia Trees. We wanted to create a space based on the "best bits" of our many family holiday experiences.

The internal spec is contemporary and spacious and the interior décor comprises restful, neutral tones. The modern wood burner will add warmth and coziness during winter short breaks and the BBQ and Pizza oven will be just what's needed for those great British summers! Our little hideaway hut provides a great place to sit with a glass of wine for a G&T.

The lodge is designed to be a real home from home and you should find everything you need to make an enjoyable stay. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, built in microwave and dishwasher. The range cooker enables those who love to cook to create their favourite meals. However, If you don't want to slave over a hot stove then fear not Devon not only produces great food but cooks it too and there's plenty of great places to eat out.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing holiday, time with the family, walking and exploring the countryside and moors, splashing in the sea, getting out and about with the dog then Magnolia Lodge is just for you.
