The Libsurne Place Town House has a fantastic central location just a short walk from Torquay harbour with its multitude of bars, resturants and cafes and Torquay town centre. It is seconds away from key bus routes. This means that it is the ideal base from which to explore all that The English Riviera has to offer. Immediately opposite the property is a hugely popular Austrian restaurant as well as a Chinese takeaway. Seconds away is a superb small cafe ideal for morning breakfasts without the fuss have having to prepare them yourselves. Within easy walking distance of the property are attractions such as Torquay Museum and The Hollywood Bowl

The Lisburne Place Town House was built in 2001 and fully refurbished fully refurbished in June of 2021 and now provides luxury holiday three bedroom accommodation for visitors.

The property is laid out over three floors. On the ground floor is an open plan living space with a modern well equipped kitchen as well as dining areas and an area for relaxing which has large sumptuous leather sofas and large screen SMART TV. For the convenience of guests there is also a cloakroom with toilet on the ground floor.

On the first floor is a beautiful and chic double bedroom as well as a second bedroom with two single beds. On this floor too is the fully refitted luxury family bathroom. This has a bath with a shower over as well as toilet and basin.

On the top floor of the property is the main suite which comprises a very large bedroom with a feature wooden bedstead as well as a sofa and large amounts of storage space. In addition there is a fully refitted ensuite shower room.

Outside , the property has its own private courtyard and there is parking in the property's own garage. There is further unrestricted, free on street parking within a few seconds of the property.

Home away from home

Had a lovely stay here with a small group of friends for a 40th birthday. Such a clean, warm, comfortable home, and well equipped kitchen. Truly one of the best holiday homes we'd all stayed in. If we come back to the area we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Excellent accommodation

We enjoyed our stay here ( I think it was our 3rd visit!) as it’s such a comfortable, immaculately clean house equipped with everything you could possibly need. The outside space is very small and looking a bit sad in October but the harbour is only a 10 minute walk away so it didn’t matter too much. Adam is a really helpful, friendly host and clearly works very hard to make sure Lisburne Place is a great place to stay.

A fabulous stay

This is really lovely place to stay.Great location within easy reach of the seafront. The accomadation was of a very high standard. It was fully equipped all you would eant and more from a stay.I would definitely stay here again and recommend it 100%.

Lovely comfortable let

We’ve stayed in this lovely house before and we have found it to be exactly what is required. It’s furnished to a high specification and is brilliant because there are three of us and we had plenty of hot water all the time for showers etc. There was a nice welcome basket on arrival with wine, chocolates and biscuits etc. milk in the fridge and tea and coffee available so we didn’t have to rush out to the shops before settling in. The kitchen dining area is perfect and it has all the modern accoutrements designed for modern living. The cleanliness was something that we cherish above all as we see this as an absolute precursor to everything else that you might find. The beds were comfortable and had fresh linen on every one of them. The fluffy white towels were a window into the owners souls and they were luxurious. We loved our second stay as much as our first one and again this is a sign of high standards being maintained. Torquay is a very hilly place so wherever you stay you’ll have to reconcile with walking down steep hills to go out and then you must steel oneself for the inevitable ascent going back. All in all we are very pleased with Lisburne Place and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

Perfect for a family

The property is lovely. Great layout offering a separate suite for the old folks! Mum & Dad really loved their room with a little sitting room area & spacious shower room/bathroom. We had a good size double & the kids had a room with two singles & on the same landing was a very good size bathroom. The open plan downstairs was a great bonus so we had lots of room for all of us (including the dogs). A little patio area out the back was just right for sitting & enjoying a glass or two. The decor & presentation of the entire house was one of cotemporary with enough luxury to make it feel special. We had a welcome hamper which was much appreciated. Location was perfect, easy walk down to the main town & harbour, bus stop just around the corner for trips further afield, in fact we parked up the cars & didn't use them at all on our 5 day stay. Opposite the house are some shops with a great general store which has an amazing 'beer cave', good prices & lovely staff. Overall a lovely holiday which was easy & relaxing, highly recommended.

Super stay in a wonderful apartment

We had a fantastic week in Lisburne Place. The personal touch of the handing over of the keys, a high-end welcome pack and a clean, beautifully presented three storey apartment. Everything had been thought of and it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The parking space was a godsend as parking in Torquay was tricky and we weren’t even in high season yet. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

First time back in Torquay for 30+ years

We have stayed in several South-West self-catering abodes in the last eight years but this was the best one to date. It was a little more than we would normally pay, but the discount clinched it for us. An excellent dwelling and certainly highly recommended. Adam was there to greet us and kept in touch throughout our stay. We will certainly endeavour to return soon. The little homely touches, extras and stylish decor were commented on by my family all week.

Could not have asked for a nicer placer to stay, owner was excellent on arrival, location was brilliant. If we are to return to Torquay we will be rebooking.

Fantastic property

Stayed here for 2 nights. Property was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and clean. Nice touch of a dog towels/blankets and bowl (we did forget ours) Adam our host was so helpful and friendly. Can't fault our stay at lisburne place at all.

Gorgeous 3 bedroom house with local amenities. Within walking distance to pubs, restaurants, harbour and a short drive to local beaches. Modern décor, great location and friendly owner. Just prefect!! Can't wait to book up again :)

Brilliant stay

We really feel on our feet with this house, our accommodation got cancelled hours before we was meant to leave and Alan was SO helpful and sorted us out. There was 6 adults and was plenty of room for us with a very well Equipped kitchen. Location is great only about 10 min walk into the centre. This was better and cheaper then out first choice. Thank you again Alan.
